The breathtaking Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is a scenic, nearby drive away. Explore its crystal-blue waters, towering dunes, lush forests, and hiking and biking trails suited for all levels of adventurers. The area is also known for its many wineries—local wine trail maps are available to help you plan your tastings.

If you’d like a break from the rustic lakeside charm, Traverse City is only a short drive away.
