Welcome to Casa Calypsu an oceanfront retreat on Horseshoe Cove. This escape offers four bedrooms and two baths set deep in the woods overlooking the mouth of Horseshoe Cove in Brooksville. This home is just what you've been looking for to relax on the Maine coast. It has breathtaking views and direct water access. The home is appointed with everything you need to bring your friends and family and enjoy a stress free vacation while listening to seabirds and watching the ebb and flow of the tide. The village of Bucks Harbor is a five minutes away and has an adorable market, seasonal farmers market, and marina with a gift shop. The John B mountain trailhead is less than a mile from the front door and the Holbrook Island Sanctuary is on nearby Cape Rosier. Experience what its like to live on a protected cove off of Penobscot Bay in the most breathtaking part of the Maine coast!

Beautiful, unique house on a beautiful, unique property! Everything you could possibly need is at the house, including a well stocked kitchen, bathrooms with extra supplies, and extra towels, sheets, & blankets if needed. The views of the bay were beautiful, & the stargazing at night was incredible here. Rosanna was also very helpful & responded quickly to all my messages. Will definitely consider booking here again in the future!

We absolutely loved the property ... it has a great combination of rustic with modern amenities. Our host was fantastic—warm, helpful, and responsive—and the amenities were wonderful. Everything we needed was there to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily return. We highly recommend this rental!

My great grandfather bought this land in the 1940s and it has remained in our family ever since. We believe it is the most special place on earth and we are so happy to share it with you.

What makes this property unique

The secluded beauty of the cove, the seabirds, the rocky coast line and the coming and going of boats just outside the window.
