Welcome to the Shuck Cabin, a peaceful riverfront retreat tucked into a wide, open landscape where nature quietly steals the show.Perfect for walking and biking the property features over two miles of private gravel paths along with winding trails that trace the rivers edge.
If fishing is your kind of therapy, you'll love the easy river access just steps away.Outside, the cabin invites you to slow down and stay awhile. Gather around the fire pit under the stars, sink into the hot tub, or sip your morning coffee on the porch. The propane grill is ready for laid back outdoor meals.
Inside comfort meets simplicity. The cabin offers three queen bedrooms, two full bathrooms,a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious great room with scenic views that keep the outdoors in sight,

We had a fantastic experience! The cabin was very clean and as described, and the property was so peaceful. It was wonderful to be close to the river and close to nature and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful views, right on the river. Perfect for families or a group of friends. It was cool while we were down so we really enjoyed the gas fireplace. The owner was very responsive when I reached out.

Such a gorgeous view and a great getaway from city life ( we live in VB ). Near many great activities. We hiked a waterfall at Shenandoah (1hr away), fished and got in the river, and ended off our trip with smores at the campfire. Hot tub was very clean and has a gorgeous view of the mountains. House cleanliness: 6.5/10. Sheets and everything were fine (which is most important) but some things were dirty such as underneath couch, cobwebs, dust, bugs, etc. Keep in mind I run a cleaning business so I may be more critical than the average person. Overall would definitely stay here again!

A great place to stay
Beautiful place to stay with river access which was a great plus for us. Got to do some fishing and easy access to Shenandoah National Park and Luray as well.

Great Cabin. Enjoyed our stay.
Nice clean spacious cabin with great views. Enjoyed our time there. Couldn't figure out how to use the gas fireplace, but other than that, great place!

Great stay, great river access
Property was nice, and clean. Was perfect for our stay, as we kayak fished and were able to put in and pull out from 2 seperate float trips at the house.

Lovely place!
The place is gorgeous and the owner very helpful and responsive. We loved the hot tub! Very comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen and comfy couches.
