Riverfront Cottage Rental is located on the South Fork of the Shenandoah River. Our newly remodeled cottage is conveniently located in the middle of several popular attractions which are: Luray Caverns, Skyline Caverns, Luray Caverns Country Club, Cooter’s Place, Luray Zoo, Endless Caverns, Shenvalee Golf Resort and the New Market Battlefield.
Enjoy the best of both worlds at our newly remodeled cottage with great river and mountain views and awesome amenities. From the moment you step inside you will be delighted with the layout, great views and attention to detail. The living room offers a large flat screen TV, fireplace plus river views from every window. Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen for all your meals. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with a wall mounted TV and a nice relaxing view of the river!! The second bedroom has a queen size bed with another wall mounted flat screen TV. The cottage offers a full bath with shower. The screened patio offers comfortable seating and river views. Outside there are two fire pits located on each side of the cottage with plenty of seating including a hammock to enjoy the evening sunset!! The amenities coupled with the beautiful interior are sure to please and will become a place you will want to return to year after year.
The Shenandoah River is great for boating and fishing for catfish, trout, bass and perch just to name a few. With easy access to the river it makes the area in general perfect for nature lovers, hikers and simply ideal for families looking to experience and create cottage memories in these quiet, relaxing and natural surroundings.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please bag up trash and put in trash can outside, no loose trash please!!!
Make sure if pet was allowed and paid for , please cleanup after your pet and don’t let on furniture unless you brought blanket for them to lay on!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please make sure all wet clothes, water equipment, etc. are left outside and not in the cottage.

This is a great little cottage. River access is super easy because the shore is well cleared. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. We brought our own but were pleasantly surprised when it even had coffee and filters! The screened in porch is super nice to keep the bugs away, and enjoy the evening. Everything was super clean. My wife especially loved that it had satellite tv. Will definitely keep this cottage in our arsenal! Loved it!

No one had been out to dust or vacuum before arrival. So bring provisions for that. Over abundance of cobwebs, dead flies in the windows and the porch had dead insects all over the ledges with cobwebs as well. Cobwebs in the bathroom and shower. Just a heads up. Only a broom was provided for cleaning floors no vacuum. Also bring your own iron, not one in the house. Fire pits are overly full of ash, it's hard to keep a fire going. It's a cute home. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Just for you to know the place was swept and vacuumed and house was pressure washed before you got there, and we didn’t get to the window sills, one thing to keep in mind the river is extremely insect friendly, so saying can be cleaned and the insects are right back, we pride ourselves on clean and neat properties sorry not satisfactory !

The cottage was a good size and comfortable for me and my wife and two dogs. The water is very close and accessible and was clear as a mountain stream while we were there.Only addition could be a better entertainment system with WIFI.
