About RON PERRY
Ron and I are Kentucky natives. We have a love for Paris specifically--both the history and the people and truly love living here. Ron has been a broker/realtor since the 70's and loves history, so the make-over on the post-civil war building apartment was a natural. We both love to travel---and as a professional artist, my work frequently takes us to places in the US, France and Italy. Being seasoned travelers , often staying for a month or more at a time, we really understand just how important the details are for a 'home away from home' place. We have put lots of love and care into this place and are so happy to be able to share it with you!!

This was a vision for both of us. We love Paris and wanted to be a part of the downtown renovation and rebirth that has been happening. With streets named after famous horses and horseshoes buried in the sidewalks on Main (Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood, move over!) it was irresistible when the old Fee grocery store came up for sale in 2013. Historic photos grace the interior and hallway of the apartment and the old Fee's Grocery sign that a was originally painted on the side of the building many years ago has been refurbished! We love being part of the downtown scene and contributing to the future of our beautiful area.

Of course with 54 working horse farms in Paris and Bourbon County, the heart of the Bluegrass is just outside your door!

Beautiful apartment in a wonderful town!
I spent 9 days in this apartment. What a treat! It is tastefully decorated and provides every essential for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for discovering everything Paris and Bourbon County have to offer. I really enjoyed being in the heart of the city and experiencing "small town America". There were enough restaurants nearby to satisfy anyone who doesn't want to cook, although the apartment has a perfect kitchen. The apartment is on the second floor of a building built in the late 1800s. It is so exquisitely restored, renovated and furnished that you would never know you were in a 125-year-old building, except for the fine architectural details. I cannot wait to return!

Perfection in Paris
We couldn’t have been happier with our accommodations. The apartment is bright and filled with sunlight, beautifully decorated, appointed and very spacious. The proprietor Ron Perry is amenable without being intrusive.
We spent 8 days enjoying the sights and sounds of Kentucky Bluegrass country featuring visits to Claiborne Farms, Old Friends Retirement Center for Thoroughbreds and a full day at the Kentucky Horse Farm. The scenery is spectacular with all the perfectly manicured farms.
Right across the street from the apartment is a great little cafe Happy People Coffee Company. Just across the street east and on the same side of Main Street Lil’s Cafe offers a variety of breakfast and lunch options. For the heartier appetite try Jerry’s Family Restaurant on the southern outskirts of Paris.
We would recommend this venue which proved to be delightful and an excellent bargain for the money.

The property is located in downtown Paris. Call me for directions and lock box code to get into the VRBO. Parking on the main street is OK except for Thursday night and Sunday night after 12 midnight ( street cleaning) just park on the side street or parking lot across the street. Best, Ron 859-699-4908
