We bought this condo and remodeled it for our father to retire in because it is located in the middle of town where everything is a walking distance away including a small beach just down the street less than 5 minutes walk. When he is not in the unit, you can rent this this place for a great value. We chose this unit because of the spectacular ocean view and it is so convenient to everything for our father along with security camera at the corner of the building monitoring the parking area. NO SMOKING AND NO PETS ALLOWED in this unit per Association Rules. We live 2 minutes away and available to answer questions you may have during your stay. This condo is very strict with House Rules. If you are evicted by the manager, no refund on the remainder of your stay. Please keep to yourself and follow the rules.

My husband and I bought this unit for our dad to retire in because it is so convenient to everything. The ocean view from the unit is so spectacular because you can watch the Iron Man Competition, cruise ship, private yachts and whales without leaving the living room area and dining room table. Once here, you are less than 5 minutes walk to book your island activities, bars, restaurants, coffee shops and oh.....so.....much more.
We furnished the unit with high end furnishings from Macy's, CS Wo and Sons, Piere 1, Kaloko Furniture and keep it clean by having the carpet cleaned annually to keep it fresh and clean for our guests. If you want to be in the middle of everything, this is the place for you. We clean this unit ourselves so we know it is super clean and you don't have to pay for the cleaning fee.
this is a very nice lodging. easy to find, close to the center of things and well maintained. the rooms were spotless. directions to location, entry procedure, and the amenities were well done and accurate.

The property was clean and well-maintained. The location, layout, furnishings, amenities and home away from home feel exceeded expectations. The actual unit is more beautiful than described. The owner provided excellent customer service. We would recommend this property to a friend or relative. We want to use the unit again on a future visit to the island.
This rental is perfect. It is kept very clean and well-equipped. I have used vrbo/home away many times and the thing that is always a plus is good communication by the owner/manager. This condo is highly recommended.
Our stay at the Kona Mansions was amazing. When we walked in and saw the ocean view, we knew we had booked the right place. This rental has all the amenities you could ever want--full kitchen, linens/towels, a washer-dryer, air-conditioning, a huge TV, king-sized bed . . . just everything. The rental is incredibly comfortable--just enough space for two people, though you could potentially squeeze in a third person/child. It's within about a 5-10 minute walk of the main drag in Kona with all of the shops and restaurants.
I highly recommend booking this rental as soon as you know when you'll be in Kona! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Once you arrive, you will have access to restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, Honl' Beach across one and half street from the unit along the busy famous Alii Drive where everything happens. The local people like myself hangout in this area as well because of the convenient to everything by foot.
