About Carole Phillips

I've recently taken a job that leaves my home available for vacation rental. I'll come back and retire one day but for now, my loss is your gain. The picture is of me and my kids at the eldest's wedding on the shore of the lake.

Why Carole Phillips chose Glacier Country

This property has been in the family since 1948 with this house being constructed in 2010. Originally purchased by my Parents and Grandparents after World War II ended and my parents moved 'West of the Mountains', this spot has been a summer retreat for 5 generations now. In 2007 I decided to make this my full-time home and built the new house in 2010.

A great location tucked into a quiet corner of beautiful Lake Five. There is lots of space for kids to play and a great layout to accommodate a big group. Equipped with everything you will need. An Amazing holiday spot!

Great home close to Glacier

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful home. This home is fairly new, spacious, nice four bedrooms plus lots of additional sleeping space. Plenty of room for the entire family. The home is fully stocked with nice white linens and plenty of kitchen items. Loved, loved the deck over looking the lake. A great place to relax or eat meals. Have to say the deck was our favorite place and spent a lot of time with family enjoying the out doors. There is a lot of activity on this lake but this location allowed us plenty of opportunity to paddle board and kayak. This is the perfect location for going to Glacier National Park, white water rafting, hiking, all the fun things associated with a Glacier Park Vacation. Definitely would recommend this property for a relaxing enjoyable mountain lake get away.

Perfect location, stocked with everything

  • 5 of 5

We chose this house because it was so close to the west entrance of Glacier National Park and it could accommodate our group of nine. Our first few days were cool and rainy, but the house was big enough for us to remain indoors comfortably. We prepared every meal during our stay, so we were thrilled to find the kitchen so well stocked with the little extras you hate to buy for just four days -- oil, spices, etc. The bathrooms and laundry were also stocked with everything you might need. We had a wonderful time!

The best VRBO rental we have ever vacationed at.

  • 5 of 5

This house had it all. Forgot toilet paper, it has it. Need shampoo/conditioner, it has it. Want to wash your clothes and forget detergent, it has it. Literally the most well stocked home we ever rented and you can't beat the location on the lake. Literally you are steps away from a warm and inviting lake with little to no boat traffic. Even with 90 degree hetr the downstairs was cool always. God I just can't say enough about how wonderful this home truly is. If you're planning a trip to Glacier National Park this is the place to stay.

Love this place!

  • 5 of 5

It was just perfect! More then we expected. Carole is very good to work with! We loved that it was so close to Glacier National Park and after a day of hiking we could go back to the cabin and jump in the lake. Would love to come back again.

Excellent location -- Exactly as advertised

  • 5 of 5

The house was clean upon arrival. The house pictures were just as advertised and made for no surprises. There was more than ample kitchenware and bedding. The firepit was nice and we even fished! The location was AWESOME!! --- Just a few miles from the West Entrance to Glacier National Park and 30 minutes to Whitefish Mountain for summer activities! The communication with the owner was stellar -- I really appreciated her timeliness and I WILL stay here again. I recommend this property to anyone. Even though I didn't take a pet after all, this place is definitely pet friendly :)

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed your stay. I enjoyed communicating with you as well. Next time you'll have to brings the pups! For sure bring your kids out because everyone needs to see Glacier National Park at least once in their lives. I've been spoiled having it at my back door all these years. You could even come and go skiing because as you say, Whitefish Mountain (Big Mtn) is a short drive away too. (and winter rates are cheaper!) Thanks again for choosing my home for your family vacation.
