The resort is conveniently located along bus routes to local attractions including Hanauma Bay, the North Shore and Pearl Harbor.

We work and live in Honolulu so we know every hidden gems and off-the-beaten paths. Our 2 children love to visit the condo and someday, we would like to retire in this condo. We wanted to have a weekend home that was most family friendly. We looked for over 2 years to find a Condo that would work for our family - we have 2 children, 6 and 8. The Waikiki Banyan is in the best location near the 'quieter' and family friendly side of Waikiki. We bought two Waikiki Banyan condos - 3106 and 3204 for each child so they too, can enjoy these with their families! Aloha

Waikiki Banyan has a wonderful recreational deck on the 6th floor that our children enjoy. Waikiki Banyan is 1 block from the beach and the beach is protected. There are a lot of restaurants and stores near the condo.

We enjoyed our stay

The apartment is newly renovated and clean. It is two blocks to the beach and about a 15 minute walk to the central shopping Waikiki area. The free parking is great. We did not have a problem finding a spot. The apartment had all the amenities and towels and everything we needed.

Few things to watch for, to see if you can live with them.

- You are on your own as far as cleaning, there is no room cleaning or towel change during your stay. (they offer a linen/towel replacement service for a fee).

- It is on the 30th floor and the elevators get crowded sometimes, you have to fight your way to get in.

- The apratment is behind the elevator shaft, if you are a light sleeper you will be woken up at odd hours at night as people return late. I personally did not sleep well because of the elevator noise. But other members of the family did not have a problem with it.

- The dining and coffee tables were oversized glass for the room and you start getting irritated after the tenth time you bump your leg or hip into the corners of the glass.

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and we thank the owner!

Hawaiian Stay

Overall this is a great place to stay, we were a party of 3 adults and 1 child, we only stayed for 5 nights this trip. The beds were really comfortable. There was everything supplied that we needed during our stay. We had some difficulties when we got there entering the unit and this was quickly resolved with a phone call to Mun-Won. Would stay here again if we come back to Oahu.

Everything just as owner said. Immaculate view of beach and skyline.2 blocks from Wakaiki beach. Apartment was perfect 2 BR , .owner,,left perfect instructions, she was very helpful and easy to contact by email , responded to email quickly with request or question. Definitely would stay here next, trip to Auhu.
