Our stay was nice, but brief (18 hrs). The property was nice and well appointed. Our dinner on the balcony, with lake and sunset views, was the highlight of the trip.
We had a wonderful stay, it was beautiful, relaxing, and positively serene. There was a lot of effort put into it to make it so pleasant. Such a great place to escape the city without being too far out.
This was a fantastic garage apartment that is well appointed and has everything we needed. Parking was easy and owner was very communicative...we will definitely stay again!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful location & home with an amazing view. The photos for the listing are great, but in person is even better. Everything was clean & well kept. Lots of amenities and great communication with the host. Easy access to the surrounding area. We had a very relaxing stay & will definitely return.
We were celebrating an early 37th anniversary quick get away, before my husband's eye surgery. The hosts were amzing and left us treats and mango mimosas. The balcony was great for viewing the 4th fireworks and we saw a deer and a beautiful fox. The place was lovely and clean. We can't wait to go back in cooler weather.

My husband and I came up for the weekend to get away from all the chaos happening in this country. This is a garage apartment that is very well appointed and updated. There is plenty of space, especially on the balcony. We spent quite a bit of time out there and I got some great sunset pictures. The host was very helpful during the entire process. Great stay overall

We really enjoyed our stay. The balcony view was beautiful. The owner provided quick and easy communication. The room had samples of anything you might need, if you forget something, like I did. And the towels are so soft :) The place is so peaceful and comfortable and the location is close to Canyon Lake, Wimberley, and New Braunfels. The owners even printed menus and info on nearby attractions. Glad we stayed here!
This was the perfect place for my husbsnd and I to have a relaxing getaway. It was so peaceful. We saw so many deer and even a fox! The bed was beyond comfortable and they even had a step stool to get up on the bed. It is a tall bed and I'm a shortie. There were so many little extras and you coukd tell the owners are thoughtful and they care about making their renters feel at home. We did not want to leave!!!
dont let the garage apt. label mislead you. this is a very nice upscale apt. with privacy and roomy spaces. very quiet and user friendly. would stay again in a heartbeat....all needs were met and exceeded expectations...

We had an excellent stay. The views are amazing!! JG the property owner could not be nicer. We messed up and was not able to go the original weekend we had planned but he worked with us and able to switch it to a different weekend. The property is connected to another home and you are upstairs but you are secluded and it is very private. There is a large balcony out the bedroom that connects to living room, perfect for a romantic view of the sunset. We will definitely try to stay here again!

Thank you for such detailed approval of your stay. Since your stay I have upgraded to a wood floor in the bedroom taking out the carpet. Your feet will still hit a rug next to the bed. I replaced the commode with new and continue to upgrade for future stays.
I am pleased to meet any needs for upcoming celebrated occasions.
Did not know it was a garage apt attached to the residense, house portion left out of pic.
Coffee pot was filthy suppose to be replaced, was way over due.
Bed is worn out, roll to middle.
Could not make electronic door lock work. Called owner 4 times, no answer. Did not answer and assumed it was fraud, we could not leave for town. Luckily I sent a text hoping for response.
Property makes lots of strange noises all during the night.
Renter does not appear to inspect property on a regular basis.
I was not going to send this but I would have chosen another location had I known this, but the view is nice.

If his wife had read reviews, directions and comments they would of known it is a garage apt (garage not used). Coffee pot was fine and not filthy. I send them a video of it. I even offered another one to satisfy. There are two, one, One Keurig and one reg with plenty of coffee.
The combo door lock worked fine. My wife went out right away since I was in the shower when called. I sent plenty of instructions and said to text back. I’ve never gotten any bad reviews and everyone has committed how great the bed is. Even the very next weekend I got a terrific review on everything she did not seem to enjoy. Not one thing was changed. A response took less than two minutes and not even a thank you in helping to dhow how to work a numerical padlock as directions were sent. The noises I checked into and nothing was discovered, the next guest replied how quite as all my other reviews. Please check my other reviews, some people won’t like you no matter how hard you try. If texted or called during the stay, they would of had any needs addressed.
I aim to please and everything is left in apt. You won’t even need a toothbrush. Pics are exactly as the stay.
Great views, peaceful and quiet place, it's a garage apartment, but you still have a privacy; nice and clean, the bed it's comfortable, everything was perfect for us, place is as described on the listing. Planning on coming back soon!!
The rental was very accommodating for us. We were visiting to do some shopping at Wimberley trade days and the location was perfect. Just a short drive and we were there. Actually, we were close to everything we wanted to visit while we were there. The bed was comfy and everything was clean.
So my fiancé and I came to the area to meet friends for a tuning experience and this was the cutest apartment ever! Directions to the place were a little difficult but reading other reviews was def helpful. When you get to the eagle and sunset view intersection turn left toward the deadend sign. The white gate is hidden behind a bush in the circle at the end on the right!
We loved the amenities and the basket in the fridge was a sweet touch! The view from the balcony was just as pictured!

Me and my wife are newlyweds and decided to give a try to this place and what we found was much more awesome than we had expected about our staying. Besides the first time searching for the place cos the directions and GPS dont agree with the address, ,(SHOULD GIVE BETTER AND EASIER DIRECTIONS to find the house from Rt 32 coming from San Marcos TX,,,on Rt 32 west,, take a left on Eagles Peak dr and next left on Sunset View and at the end of road the house gate its on the right kind of hidden with a brown sign
(BLESSING PL),,,that is the driveway to the house, once we found the house we fell in love with the house when we opened the door and went upstairs.... Finally the photos you see on the listing are the true photos of the place,,,NO SURPRISES...Excellent kitchen, with everything we needed to cook,,, and saved a lot of $$$$$$ buying groceries at Wal-Mart in San Marcos TX,,, Lovely and cozy room to sleep, But going out to the balcony THATS WHEN I SAID,,,,WELL DONE!!!!!!,,,The view of Canyon Lake and the surrounding hills are the best of the best ....TOTALLY nature paradise to relax after a day of traveling around the area...My wife really enjoyed every morning going out to the balcony to admire the lake view and breath the hill country fresh air(that helped her to cure her Sinusitis ) and listening to the birds singing in the mornings....We are looking forward again to stay in this place in the future......DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY in hotels in this area....STAY in this house,,SAFE AND VERY LOVELY PLACE to RELAX like a real home....,YOU LL LOVE IT....
