Our Sassy Seahorse has been rated as one of the top 15 out of 260 vacation rentals by Island Real Estate, the largest real estate agency on Anna Maria Island. Our 5-Star rated vacation rental home is immaculately clean and whimsically decorated, professionally landscaped, and boasts one of the larger pools, larger backyards, and larger 2+ bedroom homes on the Island. The spa is accented by iridescent glass. The 20' tall tiki hut was hand-built by Native Americans and houses the bar and seating for six. Inside your vacation rental, you'll find the highest quality furnishings, three smart TV's, a large master bedroom with king bed and a large walk-in closet. The guest room with its whimsical decor has two twin beds and a smart TV. And then there's the colorful 'futon room' (not private) that sleeps two most comfortably. You'll also find a large family room and game room and a separate dining room that seats six. Look inside the entertainment center for games, videos and books. Step out the door and you'll find two 20' by 10' decks with Weber grill and seating for six, and chaise loungers for two. If you're not walking to the beaches, or eating at the great restaurants, you can enjoy volleyball in the pool, air hockey or mini pool on the game table, 'corn hole' or simply lounge at pool side. You also have a complimentary membership to the Anna Maria Community Center's tennis courts and fitness center. My wife and I chose this unique location because it is the safest and quietest part of the Island (less traffic), and it is between two of the finest pier restaurants on the Island and 150 yards from Waterfront Park and the bay beaches. You won't need a car because most of your enjoyment is within a short walking distance. You can also take the free trolley all the way down the island through Holmes Beach and Bradenton Beach. If you love nature, you'll love the North End. Look for the wild green parrots, the woodpeckers, the night and great blue heron, manatees that regularly swim beneath the two piers, and dolphins, just to name a few of our favorites. When you're walking on the North End beaches, look for the baby sand dollars and trailing olive shells. This location is right in the middle of all the great North End activities: go north to Bean Point with its awesome sunsets (5-7 minute walk); go south to City Pier and Pine avenue's great shopping (8-10 minute walk), and west to the Gulf beaches (10-15 minute walk). Or you can take our 'secret path' short-cut out the back gate to North Bay park and beach (2-3 minute walk). Last, but certainly not least, you can walk 10 minutes south and use all the facilities of Anna Maria Community Center with its tennis, fitness facility, and a host of scheduled activities. There is no cost to you as guests at the Sassy Seahorse (some exceptions for special classes).

Location, Location...We love the fact that it is 3-5 minutes walking distance from two great pier restaurants and another few minutes to the most beautiful gulf beaches at Bean Point.

What makes this house unique

Everything to do is just minutes either by walking or by the trolley...you don't even need a car. And then there is the free use of Anna Maria Community Center's fitness facilities, tennis, and a host of other activities.

Relaxing weekend with the family

We enjoyed a 3 day weekend with the family! The house was clean and well equipped . The beds were comfortable . The best part was the pool with the jacuzzi. We highly recommend this house :)

The Sassy Seahorse had everything we could want: comfortable furnishings indoors and out, great decks and pool area, kitchen furnishings from A to Z and a location that we found perfect (on the quieter north end of the island, walking distance to great restaurants and shops and a few blocks from the beach).

PRIDE IN OWNERSHIP!

My wife and I had a wonderful time here on our vacation. Larry and Carol (the owners) take a lot of pride maintaining the home and property. I doubt if you could find a cleaner, more perfect vacation home than this one. The INSIDE DECOR, the hot tub, the pool and landscaping was also AMAZING!!! Honestly, this home is PERFECT!! We have been to Anna Maria Island for 4 years now and the Sassy Seahorse is the GEM OF Anna Maria Island.

Well equipped home, great location

Excellent two bedroom elevated bungalow in a prime location of Anna Maria Island's lush North End. Home comes fully equipped with every imaginable kitchen tool, new flat screen TV's, great furniture, outdoor propane grill, beach chairs umbrella, pool toys... . All we had to do was hit the grocery store, rent some bikes and we were good to go for the week. Centrally located within walking/biking distance to the bay and oceanside beaches, Rod & Reel Pier and shops/resturants. Backyard of the home is a tropical oasis w/ pool & hot tub, secluded & quiet, plus there is a tikki hut with bar, tables and chairs. Perfect spot for a relaxing beach week.

Head north from your rental for three blocks, turn right for two blocks and enjoy either fishing from the rod and reel pier or great breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Then keep going north for another few hundred yards to the boardwalk entry to Bean Point. You'll find shell's galore and the most beautiful sunsets you can imagine.
