We had a small problem with the condo but Perry did an outstanding job addressing the issue and we could not be happer with the outcome.

Great condo and great location!
We enjoyed our stay so much. The condo was great, exactly how it was described. The condo location was perfect. A short walk across the boardwalk and we were on the beach. Having Coco's on the beach was an added bonus for having lunch and drinks at the beach!
Perry was so wonderful. He made our stay so easy. We had all the information we need to check in and he gave us great suggestions for dinner and things to do around Hilton Head.

Villa was in good shape
The Villa itself was in good shape and clean. The overall resort is kinda worn down and dated. The location to the beach was pretty nice. There is a good 1/4 mile walk from the resort.

Our family of 5 had a great week here. The condo was exactly as described. Building 1 is the best building to be in! Lots of amenities around the resort and restaurants close by. Kitchen was well stocked, condo was clean, ceiling fans, TV in each room, and Perry was very helpful! The little store by the pool is super convenient. Coco's is a great place on the beach to sit in the shade and have a quick bite/drink. We'll definitely be back!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! Perry sent me all required documents to make check in a breeze, then he even called that evening to make sure we made it and to see if he could help us with anything. He even led me to the only grocery store that wasn't PACKED! I got in and out without a problem. We enjoyed the pools, and there was a cart to push our things down the boardwalk to the beach. It was an overall great stay and we made a ton of wonderful memories!

Dirt, hair, and bugs... nasty, filthy, & disgusting unit!
I stayed at this same resort last year in a different unit and had a wonderful experience. This year, I checked into the property on a Wednesday with a planned departure of Sunday. I left early... this place is filthy! Perry said he’d call the first or second day to check in and see how everything was. I told him the unit was quite dirty (hair in the shower drain, dust caked all over the popcorn ceiling, you could see the dust piling on top of the ceiling fan, there were bugs in the bathroom and in one of the beds, sand in the sheets, hair in the sheets, fridge still had food remnants in it, and it had a weird smell). I could keep going on and on with how nasty this place was! I spoke to Perry after just having a quick look at the place, but I called back 3 times and left 3 voicemails that I’d like a cleaner to come... conveniently no answer. I asked the resort management and they can’t do anything because it’s a privately owned unit. We left early as we couldn’t stay in the unit any longer and Perry didn’t answer his phone. Sunday evening he calls me and leaves a voicemail that he’s been on a plane going to Mexico (for 4 days you haven’t been able to look at your phone and you have someone staying in your condo???? Sounds like a cop-out to me that he didn’t care how nasty his unit was). Do yourself a favor and pick a different unit. God forbid you drop something on the floor and take a look at the trash and dirt that’s underneath the bed... made me want to vomit. This unit needs a deep cleaning!!! It’s beyond filthy!!! It’d be one thing if the owner stuck to his word that he’d answer his phone and help you. It also says it comes fully stocked with essentials (trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, etc), you’ll need to stop at WalMart and buy everything because 10 sheets of toilet paper and 2 paper towels won’t last anyone even a day. Worst experience at an Airbnb or VRBO ever!!!!
Tayler, I am sorry you were unhappy with your stay. However, I must say some of the things you posted are false or misleading statements and I feel I need to correct them. When I called you after you had arrived on Wednesday you told me everything was great except you had found two dead bugs in the guest room. I told you then the Resort had just fumigated the villas that morning and that was the reason you saw two dead bugs (and never any live ones during your stay). At no time during that call did you mention or your husband (remember he answered the phone as you were walking down the stairs) mention that you were unhappy with the cleanliness of the villa or that you wanted the cleaners to come redo it. As a matter of fact you told me you were very satisfied with the villa. You mentioned in your review you felt the villa needed a deep clean. It did have a deep clean done just two weeks prior to your arrival. And the two guests before you and the two guests after you had no issues with the villa's cleanliness and I think all of the other posted reviews support the fact the villa is indeed clean for my guests. When I called you on your arrival day I told you I was flying to Mexico at the time and was at the airport between flights. Yes, I interrupted my vacation to call you and make sure you had arrived safely and everything was ok for your stay and I told you then I might not have cell phone coverage in Mexico so if you couldn't reach me by phone to send me an email but you didn't mention that in your review did you? When I landed back in the U.S. on my return is when I got your one, not three, messages asking me to call you because you weren't happy with the villa and it was the night before you departed. In your review you said you departed early. I checked with Security and you departed at 9 am on the morning of your scheduled departure date. Leaving two hours early isn't quite the same as trying to imply you cut your stay short like you tried to do in your review. And lastly, you said the villa only had 10 sheets of toilet paper and 2 paper towels and that wasn't enough. I would agree with you if that was all it had but instead it had 10 ROLLS of toilet paper and 2 ROLLS of paper towels. If you needed more than that for your short stay then yes, you would have needed to go shopping. And lastly, when I did finally get a return message from you after I left you 3 voice messages and 2 emails after I returned to the US and got your one voice message, you tried to intimidate me in to refunding your money by threatening to leave a bad review. Well, you did leave a bad review but I hope any person who reads it and my response can see you were just trying to get a free stay after the fact. But you don't need to worry about every staying in this or my three other villas (for which I have over 500 reviews and only 11 of them are less than 5 stars) as I would never rent to a person like you again.
