Beautiful Property

  • 5 of 5

It was the most comfortable place I have stayed in a very long time. Peaceful setting open view to the river. Wonderful place. We are planning our next visit there again this year sometime soon.

Absolutely beautiful

  • 5 of 5

I had taken my kids and my grand babies for a week. It was absolutely beautiful from the minute you walk into the house there is a sense of peacefulness. The house is very well stocked with everything you possibly need including enough space that even with our large group we never felt crowded. The view outside, especially in the early mornings when the clouds are settled down in the tops of the mountain is breathtaking and is a clear reminder that there are so many beautiful things in this world that are meant to be enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a lil peace of heaven even if only for a week!

Great place, needs a little polishing

  • 4 of 5

Clean and cozy. The description of the place is accurate. We were able to fish and watch the fishermen everyday we were there. Beds are firm and comfortable and have great pillows. Lots of towels.

It's a big place, we had 9 people. 7 adults and 2 teenagers and we didn't feel like we were stepping on each other.

Hot tub FTW! very clean.

The kitchen is great, big and has just about everything you need.

Downsides are there isn't enough places to sit. They need more chairs, expecially in the room off the kitchen. More side tables too.

Decor is weird, and I had to search for or replace most of the light bulbs in the both living rooms.

No steps into the hot tub and no light in the hot tub either, a tiny bit more privacy from the next door neighbors house might be nice.

Be sure to bring paper towels, kleenex and toilet paper. We ran out.

The coffee filters were the wrong kind, so off to the store again.

No wash clothes, I had to purchase those too.

There isn't a fence so if you bring your dog you'll have to leash them, the road is very close and very busy. That said there is road noise, but it didn't bother any of us, the river drowns it out.

We had no problem washing and folding the towels, we even did the sheets, because we're nice. :)

The property manager is responsive and very nice. Thanks!

Relaxing and Ultra Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

The only thing I wish would have been different was the weather! Otherwise the house was clean and ultra comfortable (love the couches). The view is fantastic, the hot tub was clean and relaxing. The kitchen is fully stocked! We didn't have the opportunity to meet Pete until the day of our departure, he was super friendly and we will definitely be back. Really excited about the possibility of going crabbing, fishing, and hiking on future trips!

The only thing that makes the stay a little difficult is the amount of laundry you are expected to do prior to departure. It was doable for us considering 2 of the bedrooms went completely unused.. however I can see how getting towels completely washed, folded and put away for the entire household and all of the sheets at least loaded into the washer would become problematic (especially if washing sheets for 7 beds).
