This was the ideal location to celebrate my 60th birthday! It was a perfect fit for my family of ten. The weather was amazing for October, and the deck was a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views! The easy beach access was frequently used. I've never been in a better stocked VRBO kitchen. Trudi was a great host in frequent contact before our trip.

Lovely home in a fantastic location with breathtaking views. The beach is a hop, skip, and a jump away, and very calm and quiet—perfect for kids. (The outdoor shower is also so convenient for post-beach cleanup!) The living room and loft gaze out at the bay and spit, and there’s always something beautiful to see, from sunrise to moonset.I especially appreciated the well-appointed kitchen and generous extra blankets and pillows.soundproofing was excellent. Loft is great for kids old enough to hang out, and the table will generously accommodate multiple board games or puzzles.Lots of stairs, however, if mobility is a concern.

Stairs aplenty but you'll appreciate them when you see the view. Clean, comfy, and convenient to huge beach.

Awesome!!

My wife and I treated our son, daughter in law, and most importantly our three grandchildren to a weekend stay at the Skyscraper in Netarts. This home was outstanding. All our needs were met and Trudi, the owner, was always available. She sent me so much information about the area that we always had stuff to do. I would highly recommend you stay here if you can!

Amazing Views

We had a great stay at this house. The owner is communicative and friendly. The house is lovely and the views are outstanding. Looking out on God’s handiwork and seeing His masterpiece was peaceful and filled us all with wonder at the majesty of creation. Also Tunnel Beach was a highlight. Highly recommend this house and area!

Relaxing stay

Our family had a wonderful time staying here. The house was clean, comfortable, and had a great location. The views were spectacular especially from the loft. The kitchen was extremely well equipped--we found everything we needed to cook all our meals. The host left a lot of information about the house and the surrounding area to help us explore. Overall, a great experience!

wonderful trip to Netarts

This was a perfect spot for a group of friends to relax on the coast! Beautiful views, lots of space, and proximity to the beach made this an excellent place to crash and catch up. The home was quite clean, and Trudi was quite active with communication and helped us navigate the check in. Hope to be back soon.

Great house, well stocked, and superb location

Great attention to detail by the owner, who is super responsive and attentive. The home has all the amenities needed to support a great stay. All was clean. The ability to walk to the beach at night and have a bonfire is invaluable. Thanks for a great experience

We spent Thanksgiving with a group of friends at the Skyscraper. Overall we had a great experience. The view of the bay is amazing. The loft was a great space for the children to play and sleep in. The beds were comfortable as well. I recommend this house.

Great View, Great Stay

Our family had a very nice three days at the beach, recharging our batteries, and enjoying some much needed fresh air. This home was exactly what we needed. Spacious and inviting, the view is second to none. Watching the tides change throughout the day was a treat and the calmness of being on the bay was fantastic. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to get away for some tranquil time on the beach.

Pictures don’t do it justice

Trudi’s beautiful home is stunning and you don’t realize the true beauty of this house until you step inside. The view is incredible. The location is amazing - we brought our pup and she had the most fun romping on the beach. The house has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms set up perfectly for a couples trip or large families. We will definitely be coming back for another stay!!

Loved the location of the property

The place was clean and conveniently located near Tillamook and easy to get to. Walking access to the beach and on a quiet street made it perfect. Wish we had more time. Kids also had a blast. Had a small hiccup with the faucet but was communicated prior to our arrival. Overall very happy and sure to rent it in the future

Wonderful Family Retreat

This property hits every check mark on a get-away list. The small community of condos in the Happy Camp area meant the beach was not overrun with tourists that seemed to be everywhere nearby. The up-to-date appliances and spacious kitchen, living room, dining area, and loft allowed it the nine of us to enjoy each other's company or solitude. Be prepared for stairs, though.

I will speak with each guest and am available 24/7 to answer questions and provide information for an amazing get away! I expect respect of my home, neighbors / community- you are staying in a private home-not a commercial hotel. Non-smoking home-Staying in my home is a mutual choice, we welcome you and reserve the right to alter reservations if not a fit.
We've included all the things we want when we are enjoying a get-away with family and friends. We designed the house to capture the best views. Big spaces to gather a group, huge table and bench seating as well as kitchen counter to sidle up to. Wonderful great room seating for everyone to enjoy a movie or sit and talk and enjoy the VIEW! We think you'll have the BEST night sleep ever. We've literally had folks call us and ask how they can get a bed like ours! High thread count sheet and luxury! We've had 'girls' get aways, guys fishin' trips, surprise bday celebrations, family reunions and even a bride and groom who got married on the beach! We love to share our home and have planned it with enjoyment in mind. This Mama likes to stand in the kitchen, behind the kitchen counter and look out at the view...turn up the tunes -enjoy the weather and the sounds of the incredible ocean right there outside the huge floor to ceiling slider doors! I love to sit at the BIG table and color- we always keep a roll of paper and colors to draw on. Its a tradition to take the big roll of paper out of the bench seat in the great room -begin an artwork creation! We leave ours and our family and friends who visit leave theirs many times! We are all about visiting and spending time together. We love to hear about how folks have spent their time while at 'The Skyscraper'. We love repeat guests and offer a 'frequent visitors' program -visit often and create memories!

We designed the house to capture the best views. We choose the site and the location...who can go wrong, a sweet, sleepy little town AWAY from the big city, yet close enough to wonderful restaurants to walk and a quick drive for groceries...and CHEESE...did we say Cheese? Yes! and ICE CREAM! Please take a look at each of the photographs and also view the video. It gives you a birds eye view of the house from every part! Take the look at the photos and see the view that is afforded to you- breathtaking views for !The Skyscraper!

The artwork in the house was chosen to support the incredible local talent!
