Looking for that perfect but affordable coastal getaway with family or friends, this two bedroom Arch Cape vacation cottage offers a quiet, relaxing location, lots of nearby shore for exploring, and a pet-friendly environment!
Inside, you'll be surrounded by a comfy couch, rocking chairs, an overstuffed chair and fireplace in its cozy, living room. Everyone will be able to pick their favorite spot to read a book, watch DVDs on the flat screen TV (there's also cable), or just hang out and talk.
This home will sleep six guests comfortably including your furry friends (both dogs and cats). Other amenities include WiFi throughout the house, and a washer and dryer for guest use. Outside, you'll also find a deck with a charcoal grill for barbecues. All you need is the burgers and beer for a memorable afternoon filled with good food, laughter, and ocean breezes.
When you're ready to explore the shore, beach access is only 300 feet away. The beaches on this part of the coast are quite scenic. Take a short walk or drive to Hug Point to discover a seasonal waterfall, caves carved into sandstone cliffs and tide pools, accessible during low tide.
While Arch Cape is a small, sleepy residential community, a bit to the north is bustling and popular Cannon Beach featuring numerous galleries, shops, and restaurants. If you don't feel like washing dishes at home, it's a short drive to the Driftwood Inn for a hearty bowl of clam chowder or its delicious razor clams. But that is only one of the many restaurants that offer delectable fair.
To the south about 10 miles is the town of Manzanita. You'll want to take an afternoon for exploring the small bookstores, galleries, and bakeries there.
Not just for a summer vacation, but any time of year. A fireplace provides both heat and ambiance to the living and dining areas, inviting guests to enjoy leisurely meals and post-dinner discussions while finishing off good wine and then taking a short walk on a refreshingly breezy and incredibly scenic beach as you watch majestic cloud formations as they play along the edge of the ocean. Dressed in comfortable winter clothing, hand-n-hand with loved ones, the scenery and relaxing nature of this area transcends cooler weather.
This property has been in our family since 1939. It has been enjoyed and cherished for five generations. We are offering it to you to enjoy a small part of our family tradition, heritage and the magnificent ambiance of this incredibly beautiful, comforting and serene area.
