A very memorable weekend to say the least. We found your cabin, cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed.

Loved the fire place and porch. The area is beautiful and we hope to return soon.

Amazing!!!

  • 5 of 5

It was a spontaneous decision to take a vacations and thanks to Kathy's fast reply...we where able to get our plans coordinated in hours. 2016 was a rough year for our family do to the illness and passing of my father-in-law days after Christmas. My husband and I wanted a little adventure and relaxation for the kids and us. The cabin was perfect...with its welcoming feel and beautiful décor....It was hard to leave the cabin. We enjoyed the hot tube, fireplace and just sitting on the porch enjoying the view. The location was a great mix of seclusion and convenience with everything you may need just about 20 minutes away. The area has lots to do during the off season as well. We went hiking at the national forest, sightseeing to the multiple water falls in the area, Gem Mining, went snow tubing and enjoyed the small town of Waynesville. The cabin helped us recharge and focus on what matters, our family. We hope to return soon.....Thanks a million Kathy!!!

Mountain Side Cabin Comfort at its Best!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I were looking for a little change in scenery and some "cool" fall climate away from our S. Florida home. Traveling with some friends of ours we surely found the spot in Maggie Valley, NC. This was our first time to this area and after researching several places on VRBO we came upon "Luxury Logs Cabin", which is so perfectly named as it is priced for value. Very, very clean, comfortable and everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The fireplace is the best, and all the accompanying room furniture was just so relaxing. Note: you do NOT need to buy or bring your own firewood..it is supplied for you! The deck is large and comfortable with rocking chairs and a swing chair, which we spent numerous hours relaxing on at all times of day. Sitting on the deck early morning drinking coffee, listening to the creek down below and the simple sounds of natures conversation. The spa at night under the stars turned out to be just wow-mazing! The cabin is perfectly located with great mountain an valley views and it is just 5 minutes from access to the Blue Ridge Parkway (which I suggest taking a ride along looping into Waynesville, with great 'main st.' shopping and dinning...check out Barber's Orchard Fruit Stand on way into town from BR prkwy and also Boojum Brewing Co. on Main St. and shopping at Mast General Store, which has 3 floors to suit all ages. Well I certainly cannot forget the herd of Elk moving around just down the bottom of the street, just past the 'mountain car wash' (you will take photos when you find this). Enjoy lunch at Maggie Valley Sandwich Shop, and strike up some entertaining conversation with the husband and wife owners, who started about 4 months ago - terrific! Lastly, this cabin is professionally run from all aspects, directions to location, information at the cabin is so clear and resourceful. Kathy, the property manager, was an absolute pleasure to converse with; prompt with responses to questions; and helpful at all times. The owner of this cabin clearly takes great pride in it and knows what travelers are looking for .They've invested in luxury and creative comfort touches with just about everything. We were so satisfied with our choice and have some great memories to remember our trip by. MLMD>DD

Perfect Get-A-Way location

  • 5 of 5

Close enough to everything that you could want to do in the area but far enough off the beaten path to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Smokies. Well stocked with all the essentials. Just the right size for two couples or a small family. Great customer service and quick response to all our pre-visit questions. Welcome package was topnotch with clear instructions to the property. We will definitely be back.

Lucky find!

  • 5 of 5

Always wanted to stay near Maggie Valley so when Hurricane Matthew prevented my husband and I from going to our original destination I checked VRBO and within 15 minutes found this really cool log cabin! Contacted the owner and we were off for three days in the woods! We LOVED the location, LOVED the house, and LOVED everything about it. It is so authentically decorated and so very clean. It had everything we needed, including ice in the freezer--a MUST for me! It has a beautiful fireplace with two very comfortable rocker/recliners, wonderful outdoor furniture, and an awesome hot tub! Luxury Logs is an incredible value for the money. I would LOVE to come back someday and would also highly recommend this mountain retreat to friends and family.

Luxury logs

  • 5 of 5

Luxury logs is very well equipped, all you need to bring is groceries and a hair dryer. It would be good for two couples to share, or a family with two bedrooms. Very good kitchen equipment, beds very good, nice towels, wrap around porch. Peace and quiet with close proximity to blue ridge parkway, Cherokee, smoky mountains, Waynesville and Maggie valley.. We will definitely return. We saw elk going down the road in front of the property, a special treat. Our second visit this year and we will return.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for the nice review. What an extra bonus with seeing the elks. You never know what you will see there. Also, we will be putting a hairdryer at the cabin (thought there was one). Thanks for the suggestion.

Great Getaway

  • 5 of 5

A great place to get away from it all. It was a beautiful mountain view from the rocking chair on the front porch or sitting in the hot tub. The cabin has comfortable furniture and has a well equipped kitchen. We went on a Great Smoky Mountain train ride through the Nantahala Gorge. If you are content sitting around, this is a great place to do that also. We hope to return in October.
