A very memorable weekend to say the least. We found your cabin, cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed.

Loved the fire place and porch. The area is beautiful and we hope to return soon.

Great cabin and Location

  • 5 of 5

Cabin was even better then the pictures describe. Was remote yet only 10 minutes to the Casino. Road going in is easily accessible to all vehicles. Cabin was very clean upon our arrival. The furniture was comfortable as were the beds. Large front porch was great. I would definitely recommend this cabin and hope to stay there again sometime in the future.

Amazing cabin with beautiful scenery. Very welcoming made us feel like we were home.

  • 5 of 5

Our trip from start to finish was awesome. We stayed for a week, and it just wasn’t long enough to take in all the beautiful scenery Maggie valley had to offer. The cabin was very clean and nicely maintained. One of the highlights was the hot tub, especially since we went during the winter when it was freezing outside, another was sitting in front of the fireplace and playing board games. Brought our two dogs and they loved it as well was a real treat that they got to enjoy this wonderful trip with us. Will definitely be back again, maybe during the summer. Would highly recommend this property for anyone who is interested in looking for a great place to stay.

All you want in a mountain retreat!!

  • 5 of 5

Excellent location... 1/2 mile from Socco Gap on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Close to Maggie Valley, Waynesville and the National Park. Lots of beautiful hikes within a short distance.

The porch is large and relaxing. If you luv the feel of a log cabin, this one will make you happy! The area is quiet and the location of the cabin is private. The hot tub was clean and hot! The appliances are in good shape and the kitchen has all the utensils. Plenty of firewood. The bathrooms are in great shape. Kathy always had a quick response to any questions. Had no problem with access or parking. The master bed was ok, but I prefer a firmer mattress. Had a great time and I would happily stay here again. A note of fog a "flatlander", I sometimes forget that in the afternoon or mornings, the fog can roll in at different elevations on the roadways... lastly, my favorite restaurant became Frankie's, in Maggie Valley.

Cozy n clean

  • 4 of 5

The house was clean and cozy. No a/c, but it was not a problem as it was cool in the evenings and there are ceiling fans. If I have a complaint it would be the hot tub, it's time for a replacement. TV service was good but I didn't see much of it because I spent my time on the porch in a nice big rocking chair or on the swing. This cabin is best suited for a couple or two or a small family. We had a very nice stay and would come again.

Owner's Response: Thank you. Glad you enjoyed your stay. I wish you had said something about the tub during your stay and we would have had our hot tub maintenance guy out. Have never had any issues or concerns about the tub. But, we will definitely have it looked out. Again, glad you enjoyed your stay. Kathy

It was a spontaneous decision to take a vacations and thanks to Kathy's fast reply...we where able to get our plans coordinated in hours. 2016 was a rough year for our family do to the illness and passing of my father-in-law days after Christmas. My husband and I wanted a little adventure and relaxation for the kids and us. The cabin was perfect...with its welcoming feel and beautiful décor....It was hard to leave the cabin. We enjoyed the hot tube, fireplace and just sitting on the porch enjoying the view. The location was a great mix of seclusion and convenience with everything you may need just about 20 minutes away. The area has lots to do during the off season as well. We went hiking at the national forest, sightseeing to the multiple water falls in the area, Gem Mining, went snow tubing and enjoyed the small town of Waynesville. The cabin helped us recharge and focus on what matters, our family. We hope to return soon.....Thanks a million Kathy!!!

Mountain Side Cabin Comfort at its Best!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I were looking for a little change in scenery and some "cool" fall climate away from our S. Florida home. Traveling with some friends of ours we surely found the spot in Maggie Valley, NC. This was our first time to this area and after researching several places on VRBO we came upon "Luxury Logs Cabin", which is so perfectly named as it is priced for value. Very, very clean, comfortable and everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The fireplace is the best, and all the accompanying room furniture was just so relaxing. Note: you do NOT need to buy or bring your own is supplied for you! The deck is large and comfortable with rocking chairs and a swing chair, which we spent numerous hours relaxing on at all times of day. Sitting on the deck early morning drinking coffee, listening to the creek down below and the simple sounds of natures conversation. The spa at night under the stars turned out to be just wow-mazing! The cabin is perfectly located with great mountain an valley views and it is just 5 minutes from access to the Blue Ridge Parkway (which I suggest taking a ride along looping into Waynesville, with great 'main st.' shopping and dinning...check out Barber's Orchard Fruit Stand on way into town from BR prkwy and also Boojum Brewing Co. on Main St. and shopping at Mast General Store, which has 3 floors to suit all ages. Well I certainly cannot forget the herd of Elk moving around just down the bottom of the street, just past the 'mountain car wash' (you will take photos when you find this). Enjoy lunch at Maggie Valley Sandwich Shop, and strike up some entertaining conversation with the husband and wife owners, who started about 4 months ago - terrific! Lastly, this cabin is professionally run from all aspects, directions to location, information at the cabin is so clear and resourceful. Kathy, the property manager, was an absolute pleasure to converse with; prompt with responses to questions; and helpful at all times. The owner of this cabin clearly takes great pride in it and knows what travelers are looking for .They've invested in luxury and creative comfort touches with just about everything. We were so satisfied with our choice and have some great memories to remember our trip by. MLMD>DD
