My family came in from out of town and really enjoyed staying at the cabin.
We enjoyed staying at the cabin, everything worked like it should have. The only suggestion is, if you want to watch tv, bring a fire stick or similar streaming tv adapter. We will definitely use again!!!!
Perfect, much needed, get away
This cabin was delightful. We got married Oct 5th, with our reception at Table Rock and this cabin was a perfect weekend get away before our out of the country honeymoon. Friends and family came by and all were impressed with the cabin and it had plenty of room to host! We also had cell signal, which is rare in the area. The cabin has a luxurious feel being on the golf course, but is also off the beaten path enough to enjoy the sound of the river and feel a bit off the grid. I especially loved that the cabin felt like a vacation home. With VBRO you never know if you are staying in a home someone actually lives in... or if it is a vacation home... this cabin has exactly what you need to feel at home... but not have to navigate through someone elses junk. The decoration is simple, but comfortable... and we didnt find a single thing we would have needed that wasnt provided. The washer and dryer was an added bonus so we didnt have to take home a ton of dirty laundry. It was just the two of us but when we had about 10 family members over for dinner it wasnt crowded. This would be perfect for 3 couples or a family.
The cabin is about 5 minutes from Table Rock State Park, 30 ish minutes to Caesars Head/ Pretty Place Chapel. We didnt explore much beyond that!
We texted Sammy about a door not locking. He was responsive and kind.
I would give 6 stars if I could and we cant wait to vacation here on our anniversary.
Overall this was a pretty nice place. My 2 brothers and myself (all in our 60's) liked the place. The area was peaceful and quiet but not too far from stores if we needed supplies. The deck on the back of the house was huge and had a small firepit and propane grill, plus a 3 seat bar.The owner was extremely prompt in getting back to us if we had any questions. The only drawback was, the area is very hilly and we liked to walk in the morning. The hills were pretty rough on us old guys as there were hardly any level spots. Also one of the beds was extremely low to the floor so if you have any issues with knees or arthritis, it was a little tough to get out of. We would definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay at this home! The house is beautiful and very roomy. Everything was clean! Loved the huge TV!!
Nice property, very clean, and the location is scenic.
Was attending a wedding in Pickens and this property was an ideal location. Our family enjoyed our stay.
The house is beautiful. If you want “glamping” this is the place. We had issues, due to not reading directions, and Sammy got back to us in a short time.
