About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Fun for all!

We loved our stay at on Lee St! Newport is a charming town with great beachs and rocky tide pools to look for sea urchins and star fish!

Cute, Cozy Home, Needs Better Upkeep.

  • 3 of 5

Very cute home. We enjoyed the layout very much as it gave us ample space to congregate to play games, have meals, and yet it was also set up quite nicely if folks wanted to read a book or something on one of the patios. We loved the location! It was so easy to walk to Nye Beach and the area restaurants and it was a quick car ride or walk to Historic Bayfront, which enjoyed immensely. I would give the home higher marks if there hadn't been white dog hair on the furniture, carpets, and blankets (the ones stowed in the downstairs closet) and there was considerable big dog poop in the backyard that needed to be collected and thrown away. Additionally, you might consider updating the home rules/features as there is no way to park a car(s) in the garage; there is too much stuff already being stored there and the the heater does not work, so we were grateful for the portable heaters we could use in each room.

renter beware

  • 1 of 5

When we arrived with the code to open the door there was no key in the key box . It took several hours to get a key to get into the house ,when we got into the house it was dirty, smelled of mold and of a dirty diaper pail .Cupboards were broken and we found many spiders. I would definitely not recommend this place.

Large kid friendly home but needs a thorough cleaning.

  • 2 of 5

Upon arrival I spent the first two hours cleaning and I'm not a neat freak kind of person. Had to vacuum, wash all the bed linens and blankets, dust the whole house and clean up rodent droppings along the wall in the Living Room. The yard was overgrown. Plants had overtaken the steps and needed trimming. A blanket was over one of the master bedroom windows and was full of dust.

It was embarrassing for us to bring members of our family to this home for 5 days. We never felt comfortable. This could be a nice place as it is big and close to the beach, but needs major cleaning and maintenance.

Big home for a large family, kid friendly with lots of videos and games, fenced in yard for the dog, nice beach artwork throughout the house, and a good amount of towels and linens. Quiet neighborhood with a short 10 minute walk to Nye beach.

Owner's Response: We apologize that the house was not properly cleaned upon arrival; had we been notified we would have sent housekeeping as quickly as possible to address the issue. The Property Manager will follow-up with the housekeeping team regarding this review.

I think the house was fairly priced and would stay there again. Centrally located, could walk to Nye Beach, and a skate park with nice paved trail was nearby. The house was clean and kitchen well stocked with cookware and dishes. The beds were comfortable. While the sheets were clean, the bedspreads/blankets did not appear to have been washed recently. The neighborhood was quiet.

We have two dogs and the backyard was part of the reason for choosing this rental. The yard was neglected (grass had not been mowed, few holes in garden area) and we picked up 7 piles of dog poo before letting our dogs in the yard (previous pet owners who stayed here should have been more responsible). Needless to say, we removed all our dogs' poo upon departure.
