About Andrea & Chris

We are Colorado natives that love our state. I went to Ponderosa High School and my wife went to Cherry Creek (but I don't hold that against her). Both of us went to the Metropolitan State College of Denver. In 2002 we created our first business in the nutrition industry, which we still operate in today. In 2005 we married and bought our first home in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. In 2012 we were blessed with our first baby girl and we currently have one more on the way.

Why Andrea & Chris chose Winter Park

Winter Park has always been our home away from home. Just 90 minutes from Denver, it rivals any of the ski resorts in North America. Of course in the winter, the skiing and snowboarding are unbelievable, but summers are just as enjoyable with mountain biking of all kind, trail or downhill at Trestle terrain park. Like fishing? Fly fish in the Fraser Valley river or a short drive to Grand Lake.

What makes this house unique

We fell in love with our home because it's cozy and great for hosting. While it is large enough for a large party, the multiple family rooms offer enough privacy for the kids in one room and the adults in another. There is also great dinning in town. We suggest Da Vinci's, Deno's and Hernando's's.

The View is magnificient!

We had a wonderful time. The condo was very clean, and had a well stocked kitchen for making family dinners. We had 3 grandchildren, ages 4, 5, and 9, so having the separate master with a TV room, with a fold out couch, gave the children a place to sleep, play and watch TV. while leaving the main living room for the adults to visit and relax. The open floor plan on the main floor was great. The view from the main floor, made cooking, doing dishes or just relaxing extra special. We live in Va. Beach, VA and love our Ocean views, but the Mountains were extra special, and we will never forget the time we spent in Winter Park, and hope to return again. we would want to stay in the condo again.

Great home base for our Winter Park vacation

This condo has a great location to access everything Winter Park has to offer. The location is convenient and the view is amazing (the online pictures don't do it justice). The owner is very responsive and helpful. The garage and second living area were great assets that you don't find in every vacation rental. Everything we needed was organized and easy to find.

A beautiful home with breathtaking views

My family and I really enjoyed our time Arkouda Lodge. The property is gorgeous and the views are absolutely stunning. We were there over spring break with 5 adults and 5 kids and never felt cramped. To be able to have two master bedrooms and two family rooms was a perfect setup for our crew. The property is probably 8 minutes from Winter Park Ski Resort where there is plenty of parking. There are also several bus stops nearby and Winter Parks bus system works pretty slick. Having a garage came in handy as we drove from Iowa with two vehicles. Andrea's communication was outstanding and you can tell she takes pride in her property. You won't be disappointed in your stay.

Luxurious Winter Park stay

Arkouda Lodge is a great place for a family or group who needs plenty of space and appreciates a comfortable layout. Each bedroom has its own bath, and one has the entire lower level to itself. Everything is spotless and nicely appointed. The logistics were easy, and our stay was smooth and pleasant. We have stayed at Arkouda twice now, and look forward to another return visit. Highly recommended.

A beautiful home in a great location.

Our stay was amazing in this home. The view from the windows was gorgeous. The house was neat and well kept. Communication with Andrea was quick and easy and she was very helpful. If you are using the shuttle system, the walk is down a hill and over to the next street. It was quite a walk with kids, but it was doable. I would definitely recommend this property to others.
