This luxurious Dreamscape cabin was Custom-built by the famous high-end cabin builder "Bob Dixon", and it's located in the popular foresty Moonridge Area. It's perfectly situated with a wide-open, mind & body rejuvenating treetop view from the 2 decks and VERY CLOSE to all the activities / fun places that Big Bear has to offer such as major Ski resorts (Snow Summit, Bear Mountain), Big Bear Snow Play, Big Bear Lake, Biking, Fishing, Hiking and etc! It's a perfect place to entertain family and friends year-round.
This custom-built/decorated cabin has a Spectacular GREAT room with vaulted ceilings and pine logs accents throughout. Together with Pool Table, Foosball, Piano, LED TVs, a custom fireplace, and its seamless connection to a bright and open fully-equipped Kitchen, this great big room is built to entertain your family and friends after a full day of exploring the Big Bear mountains.
This 3 bed/2.5 bath home has plenty of space to entertain 9 to 10 people. Additional niceties include the Spa and "Ski-Lift Chair" so you can fully enjoy the awesome Big Bear Pine forest view from both decks; Smart Roku-powered LED TVs in the Master bedroom and Living room that are preloaded with popular streaming services such as Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu, ESPN +, YouTube, etc. It is fully furnished, custom decorated, exceptionally clean, and well maintained.
It is our goal to provide an exceptional experience for your stay and to make this Villa a dream escape from your busy everyday life, a place where you can recharge and rejuvenate.

It was really great very clean except the wall on the stairs had like blood stain down it but it was comfortable it was a great vacation we did all types of things and I enjoyed the house and bonding with my son. I would definitely recommend this place just that one thing was the only neg about the property other than that it was awesome. Thank you

HelloI am responding to your email for feedback. Overall, it was a good stay for our family of 5 but has its rough spots. Here are the pros and cons of the cabin itself: PROSSpacious and roomy enoughClose to BM Ski resort and other local sitesPool table was funThe view out the back of the house is gorgeousThe furnace works goodCONSNeeds a general refresh - the amenities, carpet and many of the appliances are all outdated and worn (e.g. patch carpet runners next to the pool table where the carpet is severely worn through).There are coffee makers but a Keurig might be a nice addition.The host on the VRBO site did not respond to any text messages and we had to contact you guys directlyThe bedding, blankets, and pillows are old and scratchy. There were many old blankets in the closet but no additional sheets. There were limited pillow cases (and we had to ask for more). All pool sticks are broken or have ne felt on the ends and are hard to use The volume control of remote of the main TV upstairs is broken and we were forced to use the side controls on the TV itself when we wanted to change the volume. Also, there was no remote for the TV in the bunk bed roomThe light out on the patio does not work and so no light to walk out to the hot tub in the darkI thought that for the price paid, it would have been a more "luxurious" stay. And so if possible, I feel that some of the fee paid for the cabin should be refunded for us due to these unsatisfactory items.

Overall Review

Great location and cleanliness of the property. Would recommend staying at this location again! Although I would say there was no Foosball table as shown in the photos, and the jacuzzi was never warmer than 89 degrees.

Very hot, the house was 94 when we checked in Thursday night. The spa got hot but only half the jets worked. We were told the spa was new it’s very much not new. The bathroom sinks backed up. The bbq was gross it was open when we got there very dirty. The cover was on the ground under the bbq. With all the windows open and the ceiling fans and the one working floor fan was able to get the house down to 81 at night, the smoke detector in my daughter’s room was missing just wires. Definitely the home needs some attention

Overall a nice place

Check in was easy, getting to the house was easy and parking was fine (says 3 cars but then says no parking on the street not sure how you fit 3 cars). When we went to unpack our food there is no where to put anything in the cupboards, we ended up moving the extra coffee makers out and using the shelves in the cupboard next to the fridge. Everyone enjoyed the pool table and board games. Kids were a little disappointed there was no foosball table like the photo. Also we tried out the hot tub but it was and turned on prior to our arrival and was at 80 degrees. We turned it up to 100 on Friday afternoon but was still only at 92 when we left Sunday (pretty sure the heater is faulty). There is onsite laundry, but no detergent so bring your own. Also the master King bed is extremely firm so if you like a soft pillow top, sleep in the queen bed room. Overall a nice place to stay. We will definitely stay again with some minor adjustment.

Pool table, foosball and many other things broken

This property looked great on paper, but the condition of the house was quite disappointing. I have rented lots of places before and never had to complain, there were just too many issues with this property to let it slide. * First two days after we arrived, the whole house smelled of very harsh cleaning products * Coffee machine takes 30 minutes to brew 8 cups * Oven light not working * Lights in kitchen and bathrooms flicker * Fridge and freezer don't cool well even on the coldest setting. We had food go bad because of this. * Ice maker not working * Kitchen is missing basic tools such as potato peeler, dishwashing brush, dish towels. And only one roll of paper towel for six days? At Christmas? * Foosball table is severely broken - all the rods are loose * All pool table cues are broken or the tips are broken off For a house that displays pool table and foosball in its main picture, one would expect these games to function properly. It was actually one of the main reasons we picked this place. And both were in the worst condition, which was a major disappointment.

BEWARE.....

IF you rent this property primarily for the use of the jacuzzi, wait! Upon our arrival, we immediately located the hot tub to check the temp as we would be anxiously awaiting for the evening, for use. It registered 81 deg. Immediately raising the temp to 101 it would be adequate to assume the hot tub would be ready for use in a few hours. It was not. The temp only raised 2 deg in 4-6 hours time. Phoned 5 star vac rental company and reported the heating was not performing properly. Agent advised that a tech would be notified to evaluate the tub and heating process. Did not receive a follow up call the next day, so phoned again. Repeating the scenario, we were advised that a tech would be notified. Again, no follow up, phoned again, same day, day 2 since our arrival. Advised by a 3rd rep a tech would arrive the next day, "first thing in the morning". At 11 am of day 3, still no tech. Phoned, again, 4th phone call, day 3 of our vacation, the whereabouts of the tech. The temperature of the hot tub had increased from 81 deg to 98 in 48 hours. We were then advised on the 4th phone call a tech was not available as previously indicated. Management company sent a maintenance tech, not specific to jacuzzi's, approx 1 hour later. Tech indicated that temp of hot tub was 103 deg. In the hour from the time of my phone call to his arrival tech would indicate an increase of 5 deg. In one hour it raised 5 deg, when it had taken 48 hrs for temp to rise 17 deg. I questioned the legitimacy of this claim. It appears the temp on the hot tub can be manipulated. Four phone calls to management, 3 reps repeating scenario 3 times, 3 days to heat, improper and complete failure in communication, a failing heating element, no contact from home owner for any monetary refund, false advertising on ad regarding the use of the jacuzzi. Other little items needed attention, so on day of our departure, returning the key, I was going to explain in detail the issues with the hot tub and a few other items that were not significant. How convenient, no one was at the office at 10 am, to report such things. BTW, this is a different management company just to check in/out.....The home was clean, very pretty which included christmas decorations throughout the home, it is AUG.!!!!! Location is ok, view off the back decks were the best part!!! Beautiful! Surrounding homes were comparable to rental, other rentals are misleading and area is run down....

22nd Birthday get away

It was what we expected and a little more, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking all our meals (they do need tongs) the toaster oven worked ok but the lid was loose. The front right burner sometimes needed to be turned on with a lighter. The fridge did take a bit to cool but worked great after. It is hard to park 3 cars in the driveway, but we made it work. The jacuzzi was a little hard to operate, we used YouTube to get it to work. We did come in the summer it was a nice touch that they had many area fans available to use. Super nice to have a half bathroom on the first floor especially since my 77 year old dad was with us. All 2 1/2 bathrooms where very clean and fully stocked. The outside decks was great, and the little twinkle lights where a nice touch. No foosball table, but the pool table was nice and the cus where in great shape. We did have a little ant problem when we started unloading the food. We just wiped the counters with a little vinegar and problem solved. The TV volume was good when we used Amazon Prime other apps where a little low on the volume. Living room TV viewing area only has sitting for 5 which is tough when there is 9 people trying to watch a movie. We had to use kitchen chairs and the floor which was kind of hard on out butts and backs. The cabin it self is very spacious and real nice decks for relaxing under the stars. Overall we enjoyed the cabin and feel we got good value for our money.

We got this cabin for snowboarding for my boyfriends birthday. Great location close to big bear slopes. Jacuzzi was perfect for after being at the mountain all day. Plenty of room for our group.

Summer 2021

Beautiful stay . Equipped with essentials for the kitchen and a basket that consisted of dish soap / dishwasher pods, hand soap and a couple trash bags. Unfortunately the fridge is still a problem . The freezer works , but the fridge doesn’t cool as needed . I would recommend bringing a cooler to keep the things that absolutely need to stay cool . The ice maker does create ice, but it does take a lot of time to make ice . I would suggest buying a bag of ice and then adding it into the ice maker if you like crushed ice . The pool table is nice but the cue sticks are run down a bit . The foosball table is no longer there . The games are missing pieces and or torn in half . They did have ping pong balls if one is interested in playing beer pong . The living area tv volume is average , so if you like your tv loud loud ..the tv will not meet expectations. The house does not have AC, but each room is equipped with ceiling fan and a rotating fan. I would recommend sleeping with the windows open and keeping the breeze circulating throughout the house with the fans and open sliding doors . The piano was a nice touch . The hot tube fits three people and does work . The water gets hot pretty quick for showers. Bathrooms are equipped with sufficient shampoo/conditioner/ soap bars/ white towels for the duration of your stay . Dryer works ( did not use washer ). There is not an iron for clothing . The beds are good . The bbq grill is older and is connected to the house for gas . Overall we enjoyed our stay . There is room for growth and I hope the owners do get a new fridge . Overall I would book again .

First time in Big Bear

We came in on snow starting to fall and checked in at a good time. This cabin is perfectly placed up a hill, any higher up and we would of had a hard time. The inside is very very clean! The place is beautiful. It was perfect. We were also able to take the kids down to the bottom outisde in the back where they were able to sled and make a snowman. We will definitely be back!

Not what we expected

Prior to arrival, we decided we were going to stay an extra night. It was very difficult for the rental agency to contact the owner. They finally did right before we left. When we arrived, the foose ball table was broken. One of the extra beds downstairs had a broken piece of wood underneath. There was no wood or logs for the fire. Both coffee pots were broken. We had a lot of spiders inside the cabin especially on kitchen counters. There were many places on the carpet where the Tac board was exposed and we ALL hurt our feet on the sharp tacks. The whole cabin needs to be updated and many things need to be fixed. It is a nice cabin just needs updating and a complete cleaning and spraying for pests.

Worst vacation rental I’ve ever been in!!!

I’ve never been so disappointed in a rental and the hospitality in all my years of renting vacation homes. We had a group of 10. 4 adults and 6 children. Before we got to the house we went grocery shopping because we planned to cook all of our meals because going to a restaurant with a party of 10, 6 of them children was not ideal. We spent over $800 in groceries. When we arrived to the rental the refrigerator/freezer was HOT!!!! After DAYS of trying to ask for something to be done about it my phone calls and messages stoped being returned. We decided to put all of our food on the back deck in the snow. To get to the deck you have to open a sliding glass door that was so hard to open ONLY the men could open it. So the children or women couldn’t get to any of the food or drinks without constant help. Half of our for went bad within a couple of days, even though we had bought enough for the entire week. When we arrived the trash out front had a disposable DIRTY cat litter box in it along with a half full trash can. The house was FULL of cat hair. My husband and children are highly allergic to cats. They all were very sick the entire trip because of the hair on EVERYTHING! The house DOES NOT sleep 10! It sleeps 9. Thank God we brought a air mattress! I am going to stop here, but I could go on about the beds, jacuzzi and kitchen. Nothing was good about this house. Completely ruined our vacation!!!!!!
