If you want a beachfront location and an affordable property this is the balance you are looking for...

Perched on a fabulous white sand beach in the middle of secluded and crescent-shaped Moloa'a Bay. Moloa'a Bay is quiet and not frequented by tourists – you will truly feel like you have escaped to an island paradise!

This cottage was built with wood imported from the Philippines. It has a master bedroom with a queen bed, a kitchen and a living room with panoramic ocean views.

There is excellent swimming, diving, and snorkeling only steps away. Hawaiian monk seals, whales and dolphins are frequently sighted from the balcony. The towns of Princeville, Kilauea and Kapaa are all about a 10-15 minute drive away.

There are no considerations for multiple renters on the property at the cottage at any time.

The entire rental is on the top floor, the lower story floor is not available for use.

Honeymoon at the Beach

  • 5 of 5

We had a great honeymoon here. This place helped us decompress after the wedding, wedding planning and it worked for us because it was in a really get away from it all place with a nice uncrowded beach. We want to come back next year fro anniversary

Best honeymoon spot ever!

  • 5 of 5

We couldn't have been happier with this awesome rental. It was in such an awesome spot. We could head up north for snorkeling or south for ATV rides and touristy stuff. Such a safe and serene location too (2 sets of stairs were no problem for us in our early 30's). Lots of parking for our jeep rental and RIGHT on the beach. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves every night. No AC was no problem because the ocean breeze is wonderful. Other areas had mosquitos but not so close to the surf. We left the windows wide open & had no issue. Can't wait to come back for our 1 year anniversary!!! More room than 2 people needed but SO much better than a hotel and for basically the same price. You'll save tons using your own kitchen too. The staff/owners couldn't be nicer, truly a wonderful experience.

Perfect getaway spot

  • 5 of 5

Excellent place right on the beach. My friend and I stayed here and it was perfect! The most beautiful sunrise every morning, listening to the waves crash on the beach, it was heaven. The beach itself was gorgeous. Not a lot of people except the occasional Gilligan's island tour. This house had a nice carport under it for our jeep. The drive through the jungle area was pretty great and I loved all the chickens around. Went for a walk and the flowers were breathtaking. We had gone to Costco and bought a few things to cook our own dinners, I was very pleased with the kitchen and amenities it came with. The place has wifi which worked great. Would absolutely stay here again and plan to!

Great location, great space

  • 4 of 5

Located a couple miles off the highway and right on the beach at quiet Moloa'a Bay. The only sounds were surf and the occasional neighbor's voice. Even with the high winter surf the beach had a couple of sheltered swimming spots. And oh, the surf! Great surf views and sounds. And a great location to access north shore attractions.

The house was interesting and had a lot of personality, clearly a vintage cabin. There were many windows on all sides of the cabin, so the air flow was splendid. Although clearly 'lived in' the place was very clean, and the kitchen had better-than-average cookware and knives for a rental. Furniture was comfy. There are two flights of stairs, which add to the privacy but feel longer when there is one more item forgotten in the car.

We would seek out this cabin again on a return trip. The private, quiet location and the cabin's charm are worth the price.
