What makes this cottage unique

If I could upload my guest book that would say it all. Basically everybody loves the cottage and being here in 'Rennie', rain or shine! Most guests seem to love the 'whimsical decor, inside and out'.

Beautiful little house

  • 5 of 5

My friend and I really enjoyed our (too short!) stay at Clare's place. The chalet was very well appointed - even had a good paring knife! Both bed and sofa were VERY comfortable. The complex was quiet, and all information we needed, including accessing WiFi, or contacting Clare if necessary, was easy to find. Thank you, Clare!

This cabin was very comfortable and warm and contained everything we needed. We enjoyed walking to the marina via the staircase and watching seals. It's quiet and restful with a comfortable bed.

Lovely getaway

Great Cabin, fully stocked and a wonderful view. The kids, myself and the dog all loved our stay. Next time we're staying for longer, we were close to the best beaches and hiking trails. Clare is an amazing host.

Adorable cabin with all you need :)

  • 5 of 5

We arrived on bikes from Lake Cowichan. Tired and happy to be at our days destination. A bit early but the cabin was all ready for us. Enjoyed a glass of wine on the deck in the sun. Only a 10-15 min. easy walk to the Renfrew Pub....great food with a beautiful patio view. Cabin had all we needed. Bed & pillows were comfy. Cabin was very clean & very cozy. Very quiet...slept well. Close to a small grocery store & coffee shop. Wish we could have stayed another night but our plans were to continue to Sooke and on to complete the Marine Circle Loop. Thank you for sharing your adorable cabin. Hope we can return in the future :)

Car: necessary

Port Renfrew is a beautiful 2 hour drive from Victoria, along the spectacular and rugged west coast of Vancouver Island. With a winter population well under 300 the town comes to life for the summer, as an amazing sport fishing and eco tourism destination. The outdoor activities here are amazing, abundant and world class. Botanical Beach, Avatar Grove, the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail and the West Coast Trail are popular favourites. There are a handful of great restaurants and local businesses. Marina and beach access by staircase is only a few minutes walk from the cottage.
