What makes this cottage unique

If I could upload my guest book that would say it all. Basically everybody loves the cottage and being here in 'Rennie', rain or shine! Most guests seem to love the 'whimsical decor, inside and out'.

Grandkids fishing trip

  • 5 of 5

Just a simple two day one night stay to take the grandkids fishing at the local lakes. The cabin was perfect. With lots of free wood and a nice set up in the front we enjoyed a small fire. Without hesitation I would rent this place again. Thank you!

Cozy place, fully equipped kitchen, really quite community

  • 5 of 5

We love how remote and quite this town is in the winter! And the locals are really fridendly. It was dark when we got into town; we missed a turn and dead end by the Renfrew pub. The waitress and regulars at the bar were all kind and showed us how to get back.with a map! The community is well maintained and clean, easy to get to a shady beach nearby or to Batanical Beach. We would love to come back again.

Beautiful little house

  • 5 of 5

My friend and I really enjoyed our (too short!) stay at Clare's place. The chalet was very well appointed - even had a good paring knife! Both bed and sofa were VERY comfortable. The complex was quiet, and all information we needed, including accessing WiFi, or contacting Clare if necessary, was easy to find. Thank you, Clare!

Map

Car: necessary

Port Renfrew is a beautiful 2 hour drive from Victoria, along the spectacular and rugged west coast of Vancouver Island. With a winter population well under 300 the town comes to life for the summer, as an amazing sport fishing and eco tourism destination. The outdoor activities here are amazing, abundant and world class. Botanical Beach, Avatar Grove, the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail and the West Coast Trail are popular favourites. There are a handful of great restaurants and local businesses. Marina and beach access by staircase is only a few minutes walk from the cottage.
