Excellent location ! Excellent prices ! Directly across the 3/4 mile causeway from Sullivan's Island pristine beaches, in beautiful old village mount pleasant. Free private XFinity WIFI and digital cable TV.

Located in a very safe area 1 mile to Sullivan's Island Beach, 6 miles to downtown, 12 miles to the airport, 2 miles to Shem Creek’s famous seafood restaurants, 4 miles to the Yorktown at Patriot’s Point, and 1 mile to Pitt Street Bridge, this condo offers a huge King size Rice Bed in bedroom as well as a top line queen sleeper in LR. The full bath with extra deep tub/shower is located thru BR. The living area is open concept with large comfy denim sleeper (beautyrest), wing back chair, and 42' HDTV, small kitchen is fully equipped, and dining table seats 4 comfortably. A stack washer/dryer is in hall closet. 1 assigned/marked parking space is assigned to our unit.

Walk a mile to Sullivan’s island’s gorgeous beach and fun pubs, or a mile the other direction to Old Pitt Street Bridge, a 1000-foot pier, is a favorite biking, walking, crabbing, fishing destination on the Intercoastal Waterway with incredible sunsets overlooking downtown Charleston. A full shopping center, 2 grocery stores, and 9 restaurants/pubs are less than 2 blocks walk. There are five top golf courses within 10 to 20 minutes drive and many more 30-45 minutes.

One of our best features is that we are located in a much lower traffic area than most of the Charleston Area. Mount Pleasant’s Old Village is accessible to downtown and beaches without entering the main traffic areas of Hwy 17 which have become a burden to our city. Directions will be direct and simple and involve few complicating factors. This can make a serious difference in your experience. It was built in 1975, renovated in 2008. The Village is the nicest area, but all the brand new places are miles up the HWY. Holidays are a 4 night min.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CONDO DOES NOT HAVE "VIEWS". Thoe photos are from the area. Our beachfront condo with higher rates Does have views and balcony...NOT this condo, which has GREAT LOCATION but NO Views.

DOGs must be approved and PET FEE covered!!! Extra cleaning after pets is done for future guests with mild/moderate pet allergies. Dogs who BARK REPEATEDLY when left in condo will have to then stay with guests at all times, or LEAVE WITHOUT REFUND !! ...iF THERE IS SOME CHANCE OF THIS, DO NOT BOOK!

No Cats - I am sorry to say it costs over $1000 to de-allergy for cats, and my daughter, as well as other guests, are severely allergic, so we cannot accept cats.

(We provide a lmited amount of start-up paper goods, soaps, etc.

We provide 4 bath towels, 4 washcloths, 2 hand towels, a bath mat, 2 kitchen towels, will always have some linens that get suntan oil/accelorator/ shaving nick stained after 1st/2nd use, but buy 4+ new sets a year, and cannot do new ones every stay. Some guests prefer to bring their own for maximum comfort.) Extras are also avaiable for rent from our cleaning service, or several independant ones in the area.

It is standard practice to have guests empty trash, as they may have stinky stuff (diapers, seafood shells...) which permeates the place when not cleaned for hours, or occasionally the next day.

We are happy to provide linens, including 1 bath towels/1 washcloth per person/ 2 hand towels, bath mat, and all bed linens at no extra charge, with the understanding that we use 100% cotton 300+ count and so will always have some linens that get suntan oil/accelerator/ shaving nick spot stained after 1st/2nd use. We toss any with large stains, but occasionally with 8+ loads after guests, a towel/sheet slips by with accelerator stain that gets darker with time and washing. We buy 4+ new sets a year of 100% cotton, and rotate those to have fresh on hand for cleanings, but cannot do new ones every stay and be reasonably priced. Some guests prefer to bring their own for maximum comfort. When guests used the outside linen service in the past, they got 50/50 poly/cotton very cheap sheets/towels, and were unhappy. I had a wonderful stay - property just as described. Perfect location, close to the beach and quick Uber ride to downtown Charleston. The walls are thin, lots of traffic noise and construction around the unit but that didn't bother me. I will definitely stay again when I'm in the area.

adorable, clean, comfortable with easy access

Great location to easily access Charleston and surrounding area. Google maps easily navigated me around the city to and from our location. Place was small but adorable and met our needs perfectly. Susan was awesome to work with when we made some last minute changes!

Quiet and Cozy condo, in central location of Mt Pleasant, SC

Susan was extremely hospitable and even offered us an extra day due to hurricane Irma. We so dubbed our trip "Hurrication", as Irma chased us from our Florida reservation to South Carolina. We requested a reservation here last minute due to the storm, and Susan was very quick in her reply. We were given excellent directions and the condo was stocked with several amenities. We will certainly request reservations with Susan on future stays.

Mount Pleasantly Perfect

What a great little place. Location is fantastic. Take a left down the side street for a walk, bike ride or run and you can end up in old downtown Mt Pleasant (really cute) or at the end of the road at Sunset Point - great view. Across the street, really walking distance everywhere - restaurants, Grocery, Drugstore, Boutiques, Pubs - you name

it. Great little Mexican place right acros the street. You're also right at the causeway/bridge to the Islands - minutes away. Easy bike ride to Sullivan's or Palms beaches.

And, the place is clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated.

Great location.

This was a very cute and pleasant condo to stay in near Sullivan's Island. I was very appreciative of the neighbors beside us. They were so helpful and friendly. My phone had died upon arrival and I was unable to access the info. When I was able to use my phone, I realized I had not been given the access code for the house key. I spoke with the manager first, who wasn't the friendliest at first but helpful. The owners also contacted me with the info very quickly. I really liked the layout of the condo with its combo living and dining room. The couch and king size bed was very comfortable. The parking spot that goes with the condo was a great spot too. Publix, ABC store, and many restaurants were all within walking distance. Loved that. I recommend Steel City pizza and Your Father's Moustache. The beach is less than a 5 minute drive away. There is only street side parking on the island. So you either need to get there at 8am or 10am to get a decent parking spot, otherwise you will end up at Isle of Palms. I plan on staying here again.

Convenient location

Picked this unit due to its deacription of being family friendly and it being centrally located near the beach and Charleston. When we arrived the unit was as described but after reading the 2 pages of "rules" and "cleaning guidelines," I was wondering if I had picked correctly. Unit is quiet and well stocked but the neighbor sits outside the door and chain smokes. I know the owner doesn't have control over this, but the neighbor smoking causes the living room/kitchen to smell like stale smoke almost the entire stay.

Owner charged a $60 cleaning fee, but requests you wash the sheets and towels along with take the trash out to the dumpster on the other side of the building before you leave. Why am I paying a cleaning service if I'm doing laundry, dishes, and the trash?

Wish there were better details on the unit description, then we could have gone with another unit. We pride ourselves on being a courteous renters and leaving the home in excellent condition, but Susan didn't come off as a courteous host in her notes left on the fridge and in the binder.

Owner's Response: I wish that I had heard about this soon upon arrival, Instead of after departure, so I could have handled/clarified these matters immediately. I inquired about the conditions of the condo, thru site And directly, shortly after arrival, requesting to be notified of any issues in order to ACT IMMEDIATELY at hour/day ONE. 1 - Our HOA by-laws require that smokers go outside of the entryway/covered common areas and stairways to smoke, for exactly that reason. I have the phone number of that new, young, and occasionally thoughtless neighbor for reasons just such as this. Signs have been ordered by the HOA as of today to prevent this into the future. 2 - There was an older set of rules there, changed immediately upon notice. Guests USED to be Requested to strip sheets and put in laundry, with $10 lower cleaning fee. It is and REMAINS standard practice to have guests empty trash, as they may have Stinky trash (shrimp heads/shells, sardine cans, feminine products, diapers...) which permeates the place when not cleaned for hours, or occasionally until next day. If you are offended at taking out your own trash, please do not rent from us. 3 - This guest received apologies and a refund of the entire cleaning fee upon complaint sent AFTER departure. That will not be the case next time. I would have preferred to Stop the smoking, Clarify no sheets stripped, and that Trash is standard outside of motels, right away. This stay in a Premium Condo, in Premium Location, Mid-July Weekend cost this guest $137.33 + tax per night, and throwing away their own diapers seemed outrageous? Susan V

After your horse-drawn carriage ride, or plantation visit, you can go swimming, body surfing, play volleyball, bike the beaches, cruise the intercoastal waterway, sail, surf, windsurf, take in some live music, shop the boutiques, dine at some of the best restaurants this side of New Orleans. Check out the scuba diving or go deep sea fishing. Relax at a spa or try horseback riding. Kayak, parasail, water-ski, fish, go 'Crabin or Shrimpin,' walk the beach for shells, take a sunset cruise, charter a small boat, explore uninhabited islands, play some of the South’s finest golf courses.
