Why Debbie Jacobson chose South Lake Tahoe
On the Upper Truckee River. Rare to find a property with acreage in South Lake Tahoe yet 15 minute drive to Ski resorts and Casinos. Hiking and walking from your doorstep. Spring waterfall trails. Mountain and road biking Mecca too. Very dog friendly property with fenced areas for your four legged friend to get out and enjoy. Perhaps they would like a swim in the RIVER.

We loved our stay at the home. It was very well appointed with all the comforts of home. Would love to stay again!
The setting was beautiful. The close hiking trails and beautiful South Lake Tahoe.
Great location the kitchen was well stocked, home was clean. Beds we're comfy and warm. The hot tub in the evening looking at the stars was so beautiful. We would highly recommend the home for anyone needing a quiet place to vacation !!!!!
Wonderful home and Debbie was great to work with. Home was very well stocked and everything was very clean. Beds were extremely comfortable and the river was just down the path. Yard was great for the dogs as it was completely fenced. Not very far from Meyers for breakfast and just a short drive to South Lake Tahoe.
Great Trip !!
Perfect Place for Family & Dog and Great Location
If you want to get away from it all but not far away from it all this is the perfect place. We loved having the river a 2 minute walk from the house. Our 8 month old lab & 20 and 17 year old sons couldn't get enough of it. We loved having a private river beach and awesome hiking 5 minutes from the house. Enjoyed quiet early morning walks, and the Christmas Valley trail, which you can hike or bike is 5 minutes on foot and leads to Round Lake. The Hope Valley is a short drive from the house with no traffic or crowds. Lira's Market in Tahoe Prasadise is 10 minutes away, Angora Lake is 15 minutes away andLake Tahoe beaches 20 minutes away.
The house was very clean and comfortable and has an open floor plan. If you enjoy cooking, there is an awesome Wolf range. The beds are very comfortable and the spacious upstairs bedroom have great views of the mountains Loved hanging out on the front and back decks and enjoyed the front yard and garden. The fenced backyard is great if you have a puppy.
Really liked it! We'd stay here again. Just what we were looking for.
We ate in a lot and really enjoyed the kitchen. Best stove ever! Great yard for the dog, front and back. Only disappointment was access to the river, all fenced in, overgrown, and not what we wanted for our 4 yr old grandson. But that was minor compared to the overall experience.
Wonderful place to stay and play!
I was looking for a house to spend a quiet birthday and one that was dog friendly for our 7-month old puppy's first weekend getaway. This place was absolutely wonderful for people and dogs. It's not mentioned, but there's a dog door in the kitchen. Fantastic additional perk!
The property is in a great location surrounded by tall pine trees. The fenced area immediate to the back of house is great for dogs to play and do their business w/o getting too far out of sight. The secondary fenced area has a small creek about 40 yards away that dogs can wade in -- as of April there was still at least 4' of snow so the creek may rise as the snow melts later this spring. At the very back of the fenced property is the upper Truckee River. The walk takes 1-2 minutes to get to the Truckee. I liked that there was gate access there as well.
We loved cooking in the kitchen on the Wolf range. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc. The labels everywhere made it really easy to figure out where stuff was (and to put it back in the same place!).
The bed in the master suite was comfortable and the view from the windows upstairs is terrific.
We appreciated the use of the wood stove -- it can put out some heat!
We are looking forward to renting this property again in the future -- summer time has got to be amazing here when everything's not buried under snow!
Lake Tahoe is abundant in most recreation.
