About Melicia Johnson

My husband and I live in San Antonio with our two children. I am a native Texan growing up in Victoria and my husband is from Mount Joy, Penn.

Melicia Johnson purchased this cottage in 2013

Why Melicia Johnson chose Johnson City

We bought this B & B from my Aunt and Uncle. They were using it as a bed and breakfast and they bought it when it was called Caroline's B & B.

What makes this cottage unique

What we love about this home is that it makes you want to kick back and relax. The town has all that you need but it offers you the luxury of traveling to other towns and cities in one day and back.

Super adorable house

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay at this house and we enjoyed it as much this time as the last time. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the sheets and blankets are crazy soft. We didn't want to get up in the morning!

I highly recommend this house to stay at for wine tasting in the hill country, it's conveniently located and the neighbors are quiet.

Perfect place for getaway dates

  • 5 of 5

This cozy 1 bedroom home was perfect for a getaway date with my girlfriend. The house came with all of the essentials you might find at anyone's home. We were able to make breakfast and dinner with ease using the pots, pans, and plates that were already available. There were plenty of wine glasses and a small wine cooler for wine storage. The quiet outdoor patio area and hammock chair was perfect for conversation. The location was within walking distance of downtown Johnson City. One thing to keep in mind is that the house is old so it creaks a little and there is no central air unit. However, there are two indoor A/C units that kept the house nice and cool. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed!

Enjoyed staying in every am for all the breakfast foods provided. Coffee was the bonus.

The cottage was warm, cozy and so relaxing. The location was perfect. No internet was great, a way to disconnect and read more. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we needed it.

Thanks, Joy and Bill
