About Melicia Johnson
My husband and I live in San Antonio with our two children. I am a native Texan growing up in Victoria and my husband is from Mount Joy, Penn.
Melicia Johnson purchased this Cottage in 2013
Why Melicia Johnson chose Johnson City
We bought this B & B from my Aunt and Uncle. They were using it as a bed and breakfast and they bought it when it was called Caroline's B & B.
What makes this Cottage unique
What we love about this home is that it makes you want to kick back and relax. The town has all that you need but it offers you the luxury of traveling to other towns and cities in one day and back.

Super adorable house
This was our second stay at this house and we enjoyed it as much this time as the last time. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the sheets and blankets are crazy soft. We didn't want to get up in the morning!
I highly recommend this house to stay at for wine tasting in the hill country, it's conveniently located and the neighbors are quiet.
Thank you Amy for taking the time to write a review. It was a pleasure hosting you and I look forward to your next getaway at The Pickett House.
This was a great place to stay for a visit with family who live in Johnson City. A lot of thoughtful touches in items that were provided. Nicely decorated and comfortable.
Loved our stay!
We enjoyed our stay at the Pickett House! It was so cute and comfortable and well-appointed. The location was perfect for visiting Hill Country wineries.
A perfectly charming cottage! Loved it! Trust me, you absolutely want to stay here!
The cottage was the perfect place to stay for a girls trip to the lavender festival in Blanco. It's a charming place loaded with character. The welcoming flowers and coffee in the morning was a bonus. It's conveniently located to wineries, vineyards, breweries, distilleries, art, history and delicious food. The beds were super comfy and a soft place to land at night. We can't wait to revisit. We fell in love with Johnson City and look forward to exploring it more. Thank you!
Cozy Cottage Comfort
My Mother and I were very pleased with our accommodations and found " The Picket Fence" Cottage to be cozy and very comfortable as well. We felt like we were home away from home. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks ~ : ) Ruby
