This cozy newly renovated one-bedroom, now with A/C is ideal for 2 people that want to relax on the beach and enjoy the country surroundings of the north shore. It has a comfortable queen bed, and a memory foam sleeper sofa in the small living room. All linens and beach towels are provided. There are two showers- one outside and a spacious one inside. Wi-fi and Apple TV are included. If you decide to cook during your stay, there is a kitchen equipped with conveniences to do so.

We loved out stay here. The only recommendation I have is screens on the windows for when it's nice enough to not use the ac. And a fan for the middle of the apartment bcuz the bathroom/kitchenette gets hot. And maybe some signage or directions to the apartment once you arrive. I wondered around a little lost for a few minutes We loved the location and the coziness of the apartment. It was a great home base for us and close to everything. I wish we could have stayed there longer.

felt like the red headed step child

Great location and was exactly as advertised. What we didn't expect was mold in the shower, no smoke detectors (and no one offered to come and replace it) and only two towels (someone did come and bring more towels after I contacted the property manager). And while the place was exactly like the photos, I didn't expect about 24 bottles of hotel shampoo, three large bottles of cheap shampoo (one is plenty) and a fridge full of used condiments and other stuff in the pantry. For some reason, the cheap bottles of shampoo and dozens of hotel soap was insulting to me. I don't use them when I stay at a hotel. Why would I want hers?? If the owner wanted to leave some shampoo, no problem. Leave one cheap bottle of shampoo/conditioner. But the tiny bathroom was FILLED with half used bottles of various products. I couldn't find space to place my toiletries. Another problem is the musty smell. I suspect the owner may not live in the upstairs (this was a basement studio) and contracts the housecleaning. Maybe the homeowner is unaware that the cleaning crew is doing such a lousy job. So to summarize our stay, we were pleased with the location and the AC, but we were terribly disappointed in the musty smell and lack of attention when we contacted the property manager. As a property owner, I'm quite surprised that no one rushed over to get us smoke detectors. There is a whole house above this unit. And I assure you, if a renter dies in a fire and the fire dept determines there are no working smoke detectors, the family would own that place. I'm hoping the owner was just unaware of these issues. We didn't contact her as she sent us a message telling us to contact her property manager as she was away from the home. We left feeling like the red headed step child tucked away in the basement.

Very nice for two people

We enjoyed our stay and the place is perfect for two people! Few things we had issues with....The entrance door to our room would not lock so we had to leave it unlocked every time we went out. The code works but the lock does not. You can manually lock it from the inside. Kelly was out of town and the number to call for help no one answered and I left a message but no return call. The upstairs AC drips over the entrance door so you had a wet mat and dripped on every time you walked in. The bedroom closet is broken and comes off the track. There is a sewage vent leak in the bathroom that needs to be fixed. AC filter in living room was dirty so had to clean it after that it cooled really well. Guess were in the main house so there was some noise at night. We loved having the beach across the road, secure parking, and very nice backyard to relax in. We would stay again and recommend this place but need to fix the things listed first. Access to a washer and dryer would be a plus.

Nice but quite small, especially for more than 2 people.

Nice stay. Living room and dining are quite small but the bedroom and bathroom are full size. Had problems with the WiFi most of the time we were there. Wouldn’t recommend for more than two people. Overall a good experience, though.

Super Clean and convienent to Laie attractions

This is a super clean, and close to all the North Shore attractions. (Laie) PCC, BYU H etc. This was the perfect place for my wife and I. It maybe a little cramped with 3 + adults but Doable. The living room area is a little small, but you are never in the house much.( its Hawaii) It had everything we needed, most importantly a clean bed and a nice size bathroom.

The gated parking is a very nice bonus!!

We are located directly in front of historic Hukilau beach, less than a mile to the Polynesian Cultural Center, and within walking distance to BYU-Hawaii and the LDS Temple. Turtle Bay is close by and offers golf and horseback riding. The North Shore is 15 minutes by car where you can check out amazing surf especially in the winter. You can swim, boogie board, snorkel, paddle board, spear fish, turtle watch, hike, cliff jump and even zipline all within 20 minutes or less. Also nearby are many delicious local food trucks and restaurants.
