We have been enjoying our visits to Greenport for over a decade, and were thrilled when we found this wonderful home. We look forward to our time out here and would love to share the home and the area with others!
Jennifer Marik purchased this house in 2014
This is the perfect location - a quiet street just a quick walk from Front Street and all the wonderful restaurants and shops there. We love Mitchell Park and the carousel and its views of the marina and Shelter Island. And the library with the friendliest librarians is just around the corner.
Second time staying here and would come back again. Great house convenient to town with all the amenities of home.
Four people rented this house for a weekend in Sept.
There was more than enough room for everyone in terms of bedrooms,
bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, and living room.
The yard is huge, lots of terrain for bbqs and active kids.
The house is walking distance to the Greenport train station
and the town's shops/cafés/bars. The owner was prompt in
responding to emails before we arrived and refunding the damage deposit
after we left.
Can't think of any negatives, this house is definitely recommended.
The house was very clean and fully stocked. It was so close to town that we never needed to move our car. The swings for the kids were amazing! We would highly recommend staying here. We are already planning on staying here next time we vacation in Greenport. Reasonable rental price for this house.
This house worked beautifully for our family. It wasn't so big that temptations grew to leave stuff lying around, and it was so pretty that taking downtime out of the sun felt exciting. The backyard's lovely and full of birds as well as swings, and the updates on historic details made the kitchen and bathrooms easy and pleasant to use. The location in town made for nice bike rides to the beach and walks to the carousel and coffee. It really made a wonderful town more pleasant and memorable.
We spent a week in this lovely home. My daughter, son in law and my 2 young grandchildren were very comfortable. There was plenty of room , a spacious yard and a fully equipped kitchen. The house was clean and well maintained. We loved that it was within walking distance of town and the beach (Peconic Bay). We also enjoyed many of the nearby wineries and the beautiful lavender fields. I would recommend this home to my friends and family.
