About Sarah, reservationist

The owner, Jeremy Goldstein has made 32 North Ann Street a project since he purchased the property in 2002, slowly making improvements, while running his business in the building directly next door.

Over the past 20 years, Jeremy has built a successful multi-disciplinary real estate practice. Jeremy graduated cum laude from Duke University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy Studies. He held salesperson licenses in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia and currently maintains broker licenses in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Mr. Goldstein advises private and institutional investors nationwide in the acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial property.

He married an Asheville native, and together they moved to Asheville to raise their four sons. He spends his “free” time traveling with his family to their sons’ sporting events. Eventually, he hopes to get back to hiking and biking in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. But for now he manages to get to Crossfit — unfortunately well before the sun comes up, in addition to serving as Chairman of Asheville Planning & Zoning Commission and board member to Irene Wortham Center.

Sarah, reservationist purchased this apartment in 2002

Why Sarah, reservationist chose Asheville

Like any such investment, careful thought and attention to detail are important. The properties location next door to Mr. Goldstein's offices, made the undertaking manageable, and a worthwhile investment.

What makes this apartment unique

In addition to the superb location, the Apartment has been completely renovated with brand new appliances and furnishings. The beautiful artwork is of the surrounding mountains and local graffiti art.

Travelers will have the benefit of knowing the owner is in the building next door, as well as assistance from his friendly reservationist, Sarah, who has an intimate knowledge of downtown Asheville and will work to provide guests with an easy booking process and most importantly, recommendations for a memorable Asheville experience.

Guestbook comments from the manager

We had a great time in Asheville! The apartment was well equipped and as described. It was an easy walk in to downtown and very near the visitor's center. For being right in town, it was very quiet. We would recommend this apartment. Jeremy was a gracious host.

Great apartment and amenities close to downtown

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was perfect for our family of 3. It might be a little tight for 4 adults, but it had everything you could possibly need from shampoo to coffee filters, and all modern features/appliances. Super convenient location- only a 5 to 10 minute walk to downtown. As a few have mentioned, it is across from a shelter, but this was a non-issue, and we still walked everywhere during the day and out to dinner. The rest of our family ended up booking the other apartments, and Downtown Annie ended up being a great home base for all of us. Great experience!

Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget

  • 5 of 5

The property was everything we had hoped for! As some people mentioned, it is across from some sort of homeless shelter but it really was a non issue. The apartment is spacious and stocked with anything you could need. We were happy to see that the apartment had laundry detergent and shampoo/ conditioner. We appreciated that the door had a code vs physical keys. Everything was modern and looked brand new. The best part was definitely that the apartment was a quick 3-5 minute walk to the middle of Asheville which had a ton to offer. If you’re looking for a place to stay Downton Annie is definitely the way to go!

Great Home Base

  • 5 of 5

The apartment worked really great for our family of four. The kitchen is small but well-appointed with dishes and appliances. The towels and sheets were nice. The parking is a little small/tight but didn't cause too much trouble. It ended up being a great home base for our activities in Asheville and the surrounding areas.

Stylish, comfortable, convenient!

  • 5 of 5

We came to Asheville to see a show at the ExploreAsheville Arena. Everything was within walking distance to this very stylish, well outfitted, comfortable, and spacious apartment. We parked our car on Friday afternoon and didn't move it until Sunday morning. Do check out Hopey's Grocery & Tap Room. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, close to everything home away from home.

Great place walking distance to downtown

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was clean and organized. Well stocked kitchen and nice appliances. Beds were comfortable. Very short walk to lots of restaurants and breweries in downtown Asheville. As stated by others, the only thing of note is that it is next to a homeless community outreach center so there is quite an interesting variety of individuals coming and going during daytime hours. However we had no issues and walked to downtown every evening.
