The Honeymoon Cabin is a historic cozy chestnut log cabin located in the Town of Hot Springs. The cabin is within walking distance to the Hot Springs Resort & Spa, restaurants, shopping, rafting, and hiking on the Appalachian Trail.
The cabin is part of the original Mountain View Court and was called the Honeymoon Cabin. The court was built in the 1930's. Anna & Suzie are retired Labor & Delivery nurses. We currently live in Hendersonville, NC We lived in Hot Springs for 7 years and ran a Bed & Breakfast there for several years. I loved hiking on the Appalachian Trail and soaking in the mineral springs. We loved living in Hot Springs and jumped at the chance to own this cabin as a place for us to stay and visit Hot Springs and as a vacation rental. We also make natural soaps, lip balm and salves. We make the guest soaps in the cabin. Suzie is also a Healing Touch Practitioner in Hendersonville, NC.
Suzie Engel and Anna Finley purchased this cabin in 2014
Though It was not our honeymoon we had a romantic weekend in Hot Springs at the Honeymoon Cabin. The cabin was perfect for the two of us, a full kitchen, gas fire place, comfy bed, nice shower, TV (though we did not use it), and the cabin was in a good location.
The description on VRBO was spot on, the owners of the cabin responded to our email and text quickly and were very friendly. We will rent the cabin again and recommend it to our friends.
This was an exceptionally nice place! Had everything that one would need on a relaxing escapade! Easy access to town for anything needed. Cabin was clean & ready for relaxation, nothing needed to be done. We LOVED it... would highly recommend & promote. Not bank busting, perfect for a budget income. Town folk were extremely accommodating. They make their own soaps... AWESOME!!! Everything promoted is precise!
Lovely little cabin in the heart of town. We walked everywhere. Comfy cozy. All of the necessities we needed.
Loved the claw foot tub.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Honeymoon cabin. I was in town for the Wild Goose festival, and it was really easy to walk from the property down to the campground where the event was. The kitchen is well stocked, and the homeowners have though through everything you might need to make your stay comfortable. Loved this little place!
This is a lovely cabin in the center of town. It is well known and loved in the community. We had a great stay.
I chose this property as an alternative to camping at the French Broad River Festival. It was a nice walk to the campground. The property was cozy and well-maintained with all necessities (unless you need wi-fi). I hope to be back!
There is an abundance of outdoor activities available-hiking, whitewater rafting, canoeing, kayaking. The quaint town has shops available for gifts, outdoor adventures, camping and groceries
