The unit was nice, but...

The unit itself was clean & well stocked. We've stayed at Sunbird several times over the years. We have never encountered the issues we had this time before. Unfortunately, I think the more affordable pricing brought in an unsavory type of people in by the weekend. The smell of weed & loud music made it hard to enjoy the peace & quiet of listening to the ocean waves. We always liked staying here & being close to everything but I think it has all gone downhill now that the wrong type of people are around. Luckily, we did not have our kids with us. That would have been fun to explain the funny smell coming through the vents. I would have been super upset. Again, unit was perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the other guests nearby ruined it for us.

Great stay!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. It was just like the pictures that was shown. We definitely loved watching the sun set on the balcony!

Simple for a quick trip

The condo was perfect for our 2 night stay for a wedding. The balcony was a highlight. We didn’t use the kitchen at all, but it seemed nice enough.

Sunbird is one of my favorite places to stay. Easy to get on beach. All rooms have a great view. Only issues I can say is parking . If you have 4 adults one car has to be park off site . But all in all, Great place to stay .

Beautiful view, small space

The view was fantastic, the furniture seemed pretty new, comfortable sofa and bed. It is tiny, two people definitely aren't cooking together in the kitchen, but it was exactly what we booked and we had a great time. Elevator was fast. It's noted in the listing but I know can sometimes be overlooked that there is no laundry in this condo. It's shared (paid) laundry on the ground floor. Bathroom fan needs to be replaced asap (in my opinion before another guest stays).

Great Condo with amazing views

We really enjoyed our stay in 408e at the Sunbird. It was clean and spacious. Just right and we plan to return. I highly recommend booking this cute condo. Close to everything and right on the beach. Loved it! The Vacasa team is so nice they were great to deal with.

Emerald beach view

I enjoyed my stay although the weather was not the best. The room and condo complex is under construction so it was kinda noisy at times. My bathtub faucet would not stop dripping but with the two bathroom doors shut and the bedroom slider open all night and the extra blanket from the closet I was able to hear the waves of the ocean and drown out the constant drip noise. One other major complaint was the two sliders were very difficult to open. You had to muscle them open and shut. Also the a few of the windows are marred by what looks like a permanent fog type discoloration. I knew booking this room of the construction and such so my rate I suppose reflected all this and was for the most part fair. Bed was comfortable and showers were always hot. Good wifi too.

Could be clearner

I think the shag carpet should be replaced it smells and is stained .Also I awoke late night turned light on in kitchen and roaches were everywhere. I left immediately and bought roach spray at a 24 hour pharmacy. Also the bathtub faucet leaks continuously. The condo is in great location it is cute but needs updating and bugsprayer. Dont understand bug problem no food for them. ..must be Condo issue

Stayed in 408E at Sunbird

I do not recommend this room or resort. The pools are not heated. People allow their animals to use the restroom in the hallway and LEAVE IT!! Also, the room was filled with cockroaches. It was disgusting. I had to spend more money on washing everything before taking it home in fear of bringing home cockroaches. Very very disappointed in that trip. Had two people with me that had never been and it was quite embarrassing to know that I had took them to a cockroach infested condo. I will never stay at Sunbird or book with Vacasa again. I recommend panhandlegetaways. They have never disappointed me amd I will return to using them from now on.

Anniversary Trip

We had a easy checkin. The place was awesome the view was Amazing. We were close to Beach and all kinds of places. We had easy access to Pinneapple Willy that was very nice. We had the best view possible just looking at ocean from every room .....we will be back for sure

Great vacation in PCBeach

We have stayed at Sunbird Condos several times. Sunbird is located in a great location, away from a lot if traffic, great restaurants nearby and eight on the beach. We loved renting from Vacasa. It was so easy to make reservations on the internet. The 1 bedroom condo was very clean. The furniture was comfortable, the balcony furniture was cushioned, had lots of windows to see the beach and ocean, the king bed was comfy, the towels were fresh, and the air conditioner worked well. Vacasa even left us a card and gift which we appreciated! Sunbird has 3 pools and it was nice and quiet. We will stay with Vacasa again soon.

Great condo! Clean, beaautiful views!

We have stayed at the SunBird before but this was by far the nicest condo we have ever stayed in. Very spacious bedroom. The condo was clean with beautiful ocean views from all rooms. The balcony was great and we enjoyed being able to take the stairs and go straight to the beach, though the elevators were fast and never crowded. The absolute only improvement to be made would be to have WIFI available in the room but other than that, I have no suggestions for improvement. Vacasa was also very easy to work with, responsive and timely. We will be staying again!

Absolutely loved the location of the condo and our view was amazing! Room was clean and fully furnished, and ready for us on time for check in. Would definitely recommend it to anyone, couple or a family. We will be staying here again next time!

Beautiful beach vacation

We truly enjoyed our stay at Sunbird Resorts. We stayed in unit 408 E. It was perfect for us. It had one very spacious bedroom with plenty of storage. It's an older condo but you could tell that they had recently undated everything. It had the most perfect views of the ocean which lets face it that's why we are here. The staff was nice. But our realtor Robin from Vacasa couldn't have been more helpful. She even left us a small welcome gift. We hope to return here in the future maybe with our grandkids.

Perfect

The Condo was very nice and clean. Loved the new counter tops in the kitchen. Furniture was nice and comfortable. The balcony furniture was nice and comfortable. The view was amazing. I really liked the fact that the balcony is position just right to where the sun is not beaming down on you. And someone from vacasa (sorry I forgot the name of the person) Called me to make sure everything was Ok and to see if I needed anything. I really appreciated that. So all in all. Great company to rent from and great place to stay on beautiful PCB. Thanks to the owners for sharing your lovely condo.

Excellent view and great location

Freaking awesome!

There was welcome bag with snacks, coffee, water and a personalized handwritten thank you note waiting for us in our room. The water temp and pressure in the shower was perfect. The kids pull out bed was comfy and didn't have that annoying bar you end up lying on like some pull outs have. We had a gorgeous view of the ocean from the balcony and bedroom. Robin was there for us every step of the way and even when we checked in after hours. She is amazing! We really enjoyed ourselves
