Fun at the Cajun Chalet

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Very comfortable and plenty of room for our group. The stairs gave us a workout but we loved the proximity to the slopes so it was worth it!

Great location, cozy condo

We loved staying at this location. A very easy walk to lifts, easy parking, cozy accommodations. My kids absolutely loved the loft area upstairs. The condo is slightly dated but it didn’t bother us. We would stay here again.

Ski vacation

Great stay in Crested Butte, 4-5 minute walk to Red lady and Silver Queen Ski lifts, and base of mountain. Beautiful place that can sleep 8 very comfortable. Condo stocked with what you need.

Great place

Cozy place for my family of six. Pros: Had everything we needed and the location was great. The loft was a big slumber party for my four adult kids. Cons: If you cannot do stairs, it may be an issue! On fourth floor via stairs only. We would stay here again

The location was excellent. Short walk to Red Lady lift. The climb to this 4th floor condo was a bit of a struggle at the end of a long ski day, so save some legs for the stairs. Well equipped, responsive host, and quite condo.

Nice condo and great location

All the furnishings are nice and complete in this condo. Kitchen is equipped with plenty of cooking tools such as rice cooker, slow cooker, handheld mixers, pots and pans. Good chef knives too. Bathrooms are complete with towels, shampoo, conditioners, body wash and hair dryer. Location is right on top of the CB Resort parking lot, 5 minutes walk to the red lady lift. The only thing that needs attention is the queen bed on upper floor. The middle of the bed is deeply sinking and it should be replaced. The unit is on 4th floor, it’s tiring to walk up after the second floor due to the elevation especially with the ski boots but my teenage kids managed to climb up the stairs twice a day. Two low flights of stairs to enter the building then the rest are indoor stairs.

Very Nice Stay

The property was nice. It was well stocked with what we needed and everything was easily accessible. It is on the fourth floor, so prepare yourself for some steps. It is right next to a bike shop which made our bike rentals easy. The greatest challenge was checking in. I never received the email from the property manager, and was sending messages to Vrbo trying to figure out how to check in. Finally, I called Evolve (the property manager) directly, and they were super helpful---they sent me the email with all of the information we needed.

Overall a positive experience!

Location was not too far from town, close to a lot of trails, and seemed safe. In general, the area was quiet and you couldn't hear much from the neighbors unless they were outside. Folks seemed to respect the quiet hours as well. The condo complex building interior seemed to be a little outdated. The exterior seemed to be maintained. Hot tub and grill area were in respectable condition. The condo, itself, was cozy, and clean. The property manager was responsive, polite, and gave helpful guidance! We showed up a little early and it was very nice of her to approve early entry. The common spaces of the condo were quite spacious and the balcony was great! There was enough room to store outdoor equipment and sit on the balcony. The living/dining area was big enough to have a family game night. The condo amenities were sufficient from the kitchenware to soap and towels. If you're staying here consider the following things: -Access to the condo is up 3-4 fights of stairs with no elevator... If you have accessibility needs, this may not be a friendly arrangement. -There might not be as much privacy as expected... The "queen" bed is not really separate from the cluster of twin beds. There is a privacy curtain only. The "queen" bed may also only be "double". -You only get one key to the condo and may need to use the lockbox if you're coordinating with others.

Perfect near-slope condo!

This condo is ideal for groups who want easy access to the ski slopes. It has all the amenities necessary for a very comfortable stay. Communication was flawless, and everything was organized really well!

Perfect

This property is a very short walk from the Red Lady Express for easy access to the slopes. The upstairs section with multiple beds was perfect for our family and provided the space we needed. The master bedroom had ample room. With six of us there was never a feeling of being cramped. This is an exceptional property...

Early summer season fun in Crested Butte

The condo was basically as advertised and was very clean and comfortable including the beds (which is often not the case). The TV in the living room didn't seem to be a smart TV but we used a computer and an HDMI cable to connect to it so it worked. The town of Crested Butte is only a few minutes drive so it was fine to be on the mountain, plus since we were hiking each day it was closer to where we were hiking so it worked great. The unit was very quiet since it is top floor but the summer season hadn't really begun yet so it might not be as quiet when it's busier. I would not hesitate to recommend to friends or stay in the condo another time.

Cajun Chalet

We enjoyed our stay at the Cajun Chalet. Such a quick walk to the base made it easy to head back for lunch. Beds were comfy and it was so nice to have the second floor for the kids.

Great Spot

Great for a group of guys since there are so many beds. Was amply stocked with kitchen goods to cook at home. Building is a bit of a maze, but thats the only downside

Great place to stay!

We would recommend this rental and would stay there again. It had plenty of room for our family of five adults. The Mount Crested Butte shops, and access to the free shuttle to Crested Butte were both within an easy walk. The condo was well equipped and very clean. We loved the hikes and the outdoor music events in the area.

Ideal Location, Perfect for Families

Our party of 5 (3 adults, 2 teens) spent the long weekend here. It was absolutely ideal. Just a short walk to the lifts, separate beds for everyone and really well stocked. The entry way had room for lots of boots and coats. We enjoyed using the hot tub in the evenings. It would also work well for 2 couples with up to 4 kids.
