3 bedroom, 2 bath home only steps from the Hiawassee River. Mountain home with breathtaking river views. Screened back porch with plenty of seating for friends and family. Deck on the river with a fire table. Sun porch with a swing bed for relaxing, reading, or sleeping. Open the windows to hear the soothing sounds of the river. Only 16 miles from downtown Helen, GA and just outside of downtown Hiawassee. We are also only about 20 miles from the casino in Murphy, NC. Flat screen TV's in master suite and living room. Gas log fireplace. Catch and release fishing allowed!! We'd love to have you in our home. Check in is 4pm and Check out is 11am.

Family Christmas

This place was a dream. The Christmas decorations were so perfect. We watch fly fishers off of the deck. So cool. Our whole family was so comfortable and we enjoyed our stay so much. Highly recommend!

Had a relaxing Thanksgiving trip. The neighborhood was quiet, and we were close to restaurants and stores about 10/15 minutes away. The house was clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas. We loved hearing the river on the back porch. Brasstown Bald is only about 15 minutes from the house and it was worth the drive. Would like to stay again when it's a little warmer.

Sister's get away

This property is gorgeous!! Very cozy and close to Helen or downtown Hiawessee. The back porch is so big and comfortable. The house was beautifully decorated fir Christmas. We will definitely return to this property.

Quiet North Georgia Get Away

The lodging was perfect for the six of us. Beautiful setting in a rural neighborhood. Property right on the river, but also close to neighbors. If your I te ton is to have early outdoor nights, this is perfect. I do not recommend if thinking this is good for outdoor fires, loud music and late nights. The location was great for us, but a distance from groceries and restaurant. Host was very pleasant to communicate with. Property was very clean and felt like home!

Peace like a river!

This was my 5th time to stay at Tynman! If you want peace and relaxation, this is the place! We usually spend the majority of our time on the amazing screened-in porch, watching and listening to the rushing river! At night we love to sit around the fire pit by the river. It’s exceptionally clean and the hosts are wonderful! Don’t miss this one!

Amazing Cabin on the Hiawassee

Wow, the cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything you might need. I enjoyed the outdoor porches the most; the table to eat, sitting area for wine after dinner, and both swings for sitting and reading. I found a couple of hikes in the area, while my husband went flyfishing each day. The sound of the river is so realxing. We will definitely be back.

Great Stay

We took our grandson on a much needed get away. He loves to fish so the catch and release trout fishing reeled us in! The pictures of the house definitely does not do it justice! It is a beautiful family home in a great private neighborhood with the added benefit of the river! We had coffee on the deck every morning and took in the peaceful river sounds on the porch in the evenings. Communication with the owners was amazing and the "Tinmen" decorations were appreciated!

Welcome to the TYNMAN Riverside Lodge! We purchased a home that's been in our family for years. My husband's parents decided to move to a different part of Georgia so we bought this jewel in the mountains. We were so excited to be offered the opportunity to own property in Hiawassee.

Why they chose this property

Hiawassee is a quaint town in the North Georgia Mountains only a couple of hours from Atlanta. A great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
