On the Hiawassee River! Sleeps 6! Only 16 miles from Helen!

3 bedroom, 2 bath home only steps from the Hiawassee River. Mountain home with breathtaking river views. Screened back porch with plenty of seating for friends and family. Deck on the river with a fire table. Sun porch with a swing bed for relaxing, reading, or sleeping. Open the windows to hear the soothing sounds of the river. Only 16 miles from downtown Helen, GA and just outside of downtown Hiawassee. We are also only about 20 miles from the casino in Murphy, NC. Flat screen TV's in master suite and living room. Gas log fireplace. Catch and release fishing allowed!! We'd love to have you in our home. Check in is 4pm and Check out is 11am.

Amazing Cabin on the Hiawassee

Wow, the cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything you might need. I enjoyed the outdoor porches the most; the table to eat, sitting area for wine after dinner, and both swings for sitting and reading. I found a couple of hikes in the area, while my husband went flyfishing each day. The sound of the river is so realxing. We will definitely be back.

Great Stay

We took our grandson on a much needed get away. He loves to fish so the catch and release trout fishing reeled us in! The pictures of the house definitely does not do it justice! It is a beautiful family home in a great private neighborhood with the added benefit of the river! We had coffee on the deck every morning and took in the peaceful river sounds on the porch in the evenings. Communication with the owners was amazing and the "Tinmen" decorations were appreciated!

Lovely Home

The home is lovely and exactly as advertised. It was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend getaway. The screened in patio across the back of the house was perfect for sitting and reading a book while listening to the river and the birds. Thoroughly enjoyed and would stay here again.

A little slice of heaven

There was two couples and it worked out great. The split floor plan is ideal for couples or parents with children. Beautiful setting right beside the river is very relaxing. Everything was clean and just as advertised. Not too far from town. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. I would highly recommend this home About as close to perfect as you can get.

Perfect Mountain Retreat

Great place on the Hiawassee River. Close to lots of hikes, waterfalls and lots of activities. Fun place to bring a 7,5, and 2 year old boys

Beautiful riverside getaway!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home for a mini getaway! The home is wonderfully decorated, clean, and just a few steps away from the river. The owner was gracious and allowed us to have an early check in, giving us more time to fish. We fished each day and caught plenty of gorgeous trout. We are already looking into booking this property again!

Idyllic holiday

Perfect get away cabin!

The cabin was beautiful and right on the river, couldn’t have asked for anything better. Our trip was very relaxing, all the Christmas decorations they put up really made it feel extra special & magical! Hoping to stay there again in the future!

Peaceful Stay

The house was perfect and so comfortable; the thought put into everything was wonderful! Enjoyed the swing bed with the sound of the creek. The only thing mussing was coffee, so just make sure to bring some. But the Christmas decorations and outdoor lights were very beautiful

Relaxing property on River

Great house for relaxing. It rained during our whole stay but the house/screened back porch was very comfy with plenty of seating areas. Visited Always Christmas in Hiawassee and spent time walking around Helen.

Amazing !

My little family couldn’t of enjoyed a better place ! The home was so clean, beautiful , and we felt right at home . The view of the river and hearing the water running over the rocks was priceless . We highly recommend and we will most definitely be back .

Welcome to the TYNMAN Riverside Lodge! We purchased a home that's been in our family for years. My husband's parents decided to move to a different part of Georgia so we bought this jewel in the mountains. We were so excited to be offered the opportunity to own property in Hiawassee.

Why they chose this property

Hiawassee is a quaint town in the North Georgia Mountains only a couple of hours from Atlanta. A great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
