Disfrute de nuestro recién remodelado, acogedor estudio, 1 baño con retiro de patio privado en el corazón de Pacific Beach que solo hemos hecho disponible para los turistas que aman SD tanto como nosotros lo hacemos. Nuestro alquiler es perfecto para unas vacaciones relajantes en 3 cuadras de la hermosa bahía de Vela con 15 millas de paseo marítimo para disfrutar en bicicleta, a 6 cuadras de la playa ya 4 cuadras de restaurantes increíbles, tiendas y pozos de agua. La casa viene con barbacoa, y área de comer al aire libre, tablas de surf, toallas de playa y mucho más.

The cottage is darling, and had everything i needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. I especially enjoyed the cute patio! The hosts responded quickly to the couple questions I had. And the location is wonderful! A quick walk to the beach. I highly recommend this property.

This was a perfect space for us while visiting family in the area. It had everything we needed and we loved the patio. It was very private and very pretty. A hummingbird actually hovered by our table while we sat there! We walked to Mission Bay to watch the Sea World Fireworks and we were a two minute drive to the beach and all the restaurants. You could walk to them too! Ralphs supermarket is right down the street for stocking food supplies. We read that the bed was comfortable in other reviews and they were correct. My husband is 6'6" and fit! That is huge for us. We would absolutely stay here again. The owner was very easy to work with and attentive to us. Thank you!

Perfect studio in the heart of town

Everything about the stay was awesome! We were 15 minutes from UCSD, where our older son is attending. We were also walking distance from ice cream, dinner and coffee. We loved it and look forward to going back!

Nice convenient stay

Renee the host was super welcoming and helpful with an issue we encountered during check-in. We appreciated her sincere efforts to rectify the situation for us. The property was located near coffee shops and the waterfront. We would recommend it for a single or a couple.

The property is perfect for two in a great location!

This studio is a converted garage in an ideal location. There is a terrific little patio out front with beautiful succulent plants. It is newly remodeled with a nice kitchen. The best part is that it is only a few blocks away from Mission Bay where you can enjoy the ocean. You can ride their bike easily over to the ocean side as well. I really did enjoy my stay in this studio.

Great Stay

A great stay and the most comfortable bed ever. Wasn't so keen to be woken up early due to skylights with sun shining through but, hey, SUN! A few dishes to use in the oven with associated tools would be necessary if you plan to eat in as we did. Good bathroom with great shower. A chest of drawers (IKEA?) would have been very useful also as we found we were living out of suitcases being there for 14 nights. Pretty courtyard with table, chairs and umbrella - a nice space to sit out and have breakfast. Two bikes provided which we did not use but noticed that they needed some attention if you intend to cycle. Really good location altogether with a choice of boardwalks - the nearer, and quieter, bayside or the busier Pacific beach side. Both recommended. Thank you Renee. We'll almost certainly return.

Perfect Location for Biking Everywhere

First of all, I really have to hand it to Renee. She was excellent in her communication with us. We accidentally lost the keys to the rental at the beach 🙃 (I would suggest storing them in the lock box when you go out) and she was very rapid in getting a replacement to us. Secondly, this has to be the most comfortable bed I've ever stayed in at any rental. The shower also had excellent water pressure and heat! Perfect little rental for two people. We really enjoyed sipping our coffee outside in the gated courtyard in the mornings. The location was in a very quiet neighborhood. We rented bikes for the week, and Pacific Beach is only about a 5-8 minute bike ride. All the restaurants and shops on Garnet were also about a 5 minute bike ride. Overall, I would highly recommend this rental. 😁

Great Location -and Owner - needs a little TLC

We stayed five nights and enjoyed the area walking the beach and watching surfers and sailors. For the price, it is a great location, and with a few minor changes could go from good to great. The bed and pillows are IKEA's cheapest brand - and we found the mattress not helpful for our backs. As holiday is all about rest, we would humbly recommend a hotel quality bed and pillows would be an helpful investment; For light sleepers - the layout is one room - and the fridge is loud. We eventually turned it off. The furniture covers and rug need a good wash. Minor things to address. The patio was a bonus for morning tea and reading....thanks for a nice time in Pacific area where there are lots of Yoga studios..

Jeannie, thank you for your feedback. We always appreciate constructive tips on how we can make your experience not only great, but memorable. My husband and I stayed at the cottage while family were in town shortly after your stay and agree that the bed could be a bit more comfortable. You'd be happy to hear we've replaced the pillows and mattress (10" memory foam that is super comfortable) as of 4.7.17. We didn't notice any problem with the couch or rug but we cleaned again for good measure. Otherwise, it was a complete remodel less than a year ago so everything is new. We look forward to hosting you during your next stay in San Diego. Take care! :)

Not as advertised

The condo is a converted garage space at back of another rental property. Your entry is through an alley where you park next to garbage cans. The courtyard for relaxing is cluttered with rusted unusable bicycles and beach chairs that would not be taken if left out front with a FREE sign on them. Inside you will find a nicely redecorated space with a modern feel. Water pressure is good and space was clean.....with exception of skylight wells that are filled with creepy crawly things. Big spider webs with a large variety of spiders. Variety of silverfish bugs crawling about as well. Read other reviews to hear about bike quality. They should not even be mentioned as they are unusable! You will have a 10 minute walk to the ocean and a 5-7 minute walk tot he bay. Reasonable price for the area. Room looks goods but courtyard mess and skylight ecosystem make you question the remainder of the property.

This property IS as advertised. There are pictures that clearly show what the property looks like including the garden and the parking spot (which is a huge benefit in PB). We have over 200 reviews on our properties and this is the first unfavorable review we have received. We are surprised as Thomas V. never reached out to us at any time about his concerns. 1. We haven't advertised the bikes for at least 6 months, prior to his booking so I'm not sure why Thomas felt misled. We have found most of our guests prefer the dockless scooters and bikes which are plentiful in the neighborhood. 2. The garden is well kept as shown in the photos. We have a gardener that comes every other week. 3. The cottage is rented nearly every day and therefore is cleaned frequently. 4. As we are located at the beach, the salty air makes everything rust quickly and that includes sun chairs which we try to replace regularly. Never once did Thomas V. reach out to us to express his concerns. We live 5 minutes away, if something needs our attention, we are quick to respond, which is clear from numerous reviews. As mentioned in the review, the cottage was completely renovated less than 3 years ago which our guests appreciate and enjoy along with being so close to the Bay and Beach. We believe this review does reflect as our property and encourage future guests to read the many other reviews we have received. Thanks, Renee

Amazing

The place was is exactly as described. The parking was easy the check in process was easy. We love the out private patio area as it was a heat wave when we were there and it was nice just to sit there with out all the crowds. It was quiet but close enough to everything that we could walk or drive. This was a perfect place for my partner and I. We kept saying we could stay here longer. Thank you so much!

Perfect little home away from home!

Great Experience

This property is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood and is exactly as advertised. 15 min walk to the beach and everything MB and PB have to offer. Also a plus for working cooling system, hot water heater, excellent water pressure and private patio. 100% recommend for the value.

Perfect studio for 1 person or couple, amazing location

I so enjoyed my 2 weeks in this studio. It was very nice to have private outdoor space to be able to work outside during the day or enjoy dinner outside at night. Very walkable to grocery stores, bars/restaurants, as well as the bay! Communicating with Renee was very easy and she even notified my I could check-in early due to her cleaning staff being done.

Cute Convenient Package

The location and layout was perfect for us. Loved the private courtyard. Easy access to boardwalk since we were riding bikes to Mission beach where family was staying. Cute neighborhood and quiet at night. On site parking was a plus. The inside was clean with all newer finishes.
