Best Rest

So peaceful with an awesome ocean view. Fiona our host went above and beyond. We enjoyed the community by spending afternoons off the property but our morning coffee and sunset hours were spent on the front lawn watching the activity of the ocean Going back for sure Best rest we have had in a while

Amazing view, quiet location and lovely hosts! Fantastic communication with hosts who want to please! Clean and meticulously maintained home and yard. What more could one ask for?! To sit in the evening and watch the twinkle of the harbour and airplane lights across the strait was priceless, not to mention the amazing sunrise over the ocean. A 10 minute walk to all amenities including shopping and restaurants can’t be beat. A piece of paradise for sure.

Very clean property with a comfortable bed. Close to dining and grocery store. Tide was in during our stay so we did not go down to the beach. The water is not suitable for swimming as there is a thick sludge matter on the ocean in the area.

Wonderful stay

This was the perfect place for us and we had a wonderful stay. A great location right on the water and near the Mill Bay shops. The suite was set up with just what we needed. Fiona was very kind and accommodating and we had a great stay.

Beautiful view, right on the water

I booked this on short notice and was pleasantly surprised. It is a beautiful location on the water. The hosts were incredibly friendly and flexible with check-in time. Very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Location was spectacular!

Fiona was warm, welcoming and accommodating throughout my stay. The location of the house provided a serene view of Brentwood Bay and the close proximity to the village provided everything one would need. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place!

Strictly speaking it is a view of Saanich Inlet, not the Oceanview. However the view is really good. The place is tidy and clean. The disadvantage is that there is no signage on the street. That doesn't make it easy to find. This place is not for a couple getaway weekends, but for a tranquil retirement traveling.

The ocean view from the wall of windows in this suite is spectacular. Or you can step outside, sit in the lawn chairs provided and enjoy the same view, listen to the ocean sounds and feel the ocean breezes. There is also a short path down to the waters' edge. The suite itself was impeccably clean and offered everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed. The hosts were great. They were available to answer any questions we had while being totally respectful of our privacy.

Mill Bay Magic!

Really enjoyed our stay here! Fiona is “on it,” very detailed in how she manages her place. She checks in guests, also checks regularly to make sure your stay is enjoyable. The bed is VERY comfortable, not too hard or soft and great linens. The area is quiet, and sleep will come east I’m sure. The front foyer area is where breakfast can be made, and while there is no stove or oven they have done what they can to provide breakfast appliances. Now for the view! Sigh, it was amazing. Had our coffee here everyday, and just soaked it all in. We would return for sure!

A Little Piece of Heaven

A clock. A TV. A radio. You will not find these here! The most enjoyable host you could have will greet you and can provide you with a wealth of information from dining experiences to knowledge of the area. We loved sitting on the lawn every morning with our breakfast and coffee overlooking the bay. It was so spacious and peaceful with such beauty it made it difficult to go out every day. You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful place, beautiful view

I was looking for a place to unwind and relax away from my normal life. This is a great place to recharge. Close to Victoria/ Saanich peninsula, and far enough away to get peace and quiet. The accomodations were lovely.
