Great place to stay!
This property was VERY clean and the owners are so friendly! We had a relaxing weekend. We only wished the lake had been closer than the 191 steps. :0)
Thank you for this review Joan. We loved having you stay and welcome you back anytime in the future! Regards, Cheryl
PEACEFUL GET A WAY
Cheryl and Jim were most understanding and friendly. They came to meet me upon departure and we shared things we had in common. Jim took myself and my "kids" Calypso and King to the area on the lake where there was a covered pavilion with kayaks and a boat dock. If your a hiker you will get a kick out of it.
There is also Dean's Marina and picnic area about 2 miles north on Rt. 89 which was very quiet. You can have privacy.
Also, about 1/4 mile south on Rt. 89 is Elm Beach with a long winding public road with many cottages.
I plan on staying often in the future since I only live 30 minutes away and I enjoyed my stay very much!
My very best to Cheryl & Jim!
Had an amazing time at the cabin and would most definitely go back! Amazing sites to see nearby.
The two owners are extremely friendly and kind! This is a must visit cabin!
Thank you William for choosing to stay at our cabins. You were great guests and we really enjoyed meeting you. Jim and I sincerely hope you return to stay again in the future with your sweet pup! Kind regards, Cheryl
We loved our weekend getaway. We will be back for another stay.
The cabin was very clean and Cheryl was very friendly during our check in.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review - we really appreciate it! You were great five-star guests and we'd love for you to return to stay again in the future. Come in the summer when you can kayak ans swim in the lake! Regards, Jim and Cheryl
Enjoyed our stay

About Cheryl Santos
My husband Jim and I moved to Cayuga Lake in 2002 - he from Pine City NY and me from Hawaii. We both are naturally drawn to water, so Cayuga Lake was our chosen place. My husband has 3 grown children and he retired in 2012. Now our children are of the four-legged sort (we have friendly tale-wagging dogs and we invite you to bring your dogs along). We live directly across the street from the cabin and we are always available if you need anything. We take great pride in providing a clean, comfortable vacation property, and it is important to us that you have a wonderful vacation experience. We want to ensure that you’ll make memories here that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Why Cheryl Santos chose Romulus
We chose Cayuga Lake for its natural beauty, the variety of things to see and do in close proximity, yet also the tranquility of country living. We envisioned building a cabin here so we could share this unique area with others, providing a comfortable retreat for our guests. We designed and built the cabin as a contemporary modern space yet with rustic charm.
What makes this Cabin unique
Situated in a sunny field adjoining the woods, this log cabin is a tranquil retreat. It is very spacious for 2 – 6 people with an open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, and 2 private bedrooms. It is impeccably clean and is well equipped with most necessary items. A walking trail across the street gives you access to Cayuga Lake. The cabin is centrally located on the Cayuga Wine Trail. Nearby are hiking trails, biking paths, and quaint shops. The cabin rental costs less per person than many hotels, plus you have your own private space. The radiant floor heating warms the cabin to a cozy temperature on cool nights. It is also air conditioned for your comfort in summer months.
