River Wilds- Spacious Cabin Great For Groups Near Helen, GA

Full basement remodel to include all wood with full bath, 2 king pods (in one room), 1 twin bunk pod, fully tiled walk-in shower located in bath.  A full entertainment room with pool table, 55" tv and wet bar.  The pool table and hot tub will be relocated to the basement.  There will be a full-sized sundeck located on the lower level.  

River Wilds lets you feel remote and peaceful in a world apart on its 10-acre plot. With space for 10 adults and 4 children, this cabin is extremely private and offers a natural setting for you to explore. You’ll even be able to relax to the sounds of the Chattahoochee River, audible from the cabin.

Inside the cabin, you’ll appreciate the rustic leather and wood furnishings, as well as the tile and granite surfaces. You can still take in the view through the amazing wall of windows, or cozy up next to the stone fireplace. There’s a hot tub on the relocated to the lower level, and a double waterfall feature for the master tub. For a little excitement, turn on the HD TV and play a game of pool, or explore the rest of the spacious cabin and find out how much more there is to enjoy!

Great House Convenient to Cleveland GA

We stayed at River Wilds with our family of 10 for our daughter's college graduation. We had a fantastic time, and the house allowed us to stay together for some much needed family time. We highly recommend this property.

Peaceful Vacation

River Wilds was perfect for our family getaway. We enjoyed the spaces to spread out and to come together. The kitchen was smaller than we like, but manageable. Overall, great stay. Would stay again.

Our stay at River Wilds was wondeful! We had a couple minor hiccups near the end of our stay but when we reached out they responded in a timely matter and handled everything accordingly. We would definitely stay again!

Excellent place to stay!

We stayed in this River Wilds cabin and it was absolutely amazing. It is just as the pictures are described and so much more! I will definitely be booking this annually!!! Great place to stay with a large family or friends. It sleeps 14 and on 10 private acres.

Wedding Weekend

Stayed for a long weekend to attend a wedding nearby. This is a beautiful Property. Perfect for large families. We travel a lot, and this is probably one of the nicest cabins we have stayed in. They really did a fantastic job with the downstairs area, which has multiple beds. Only drawback is that it could use more supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags)

Awesome experience with this property

You know how you worry if the place will be like the pictures….you do not have to worry about that here. Anytime we stay somewhere, our two big things are cleanliness and comfort of stay. This cabin has both. Spotless from top to bottom, the pictures are spot on as well. You will not be disappointed if you choose this property to relax and just get away. Hats off to everyone that runs this and made our stay easy to enjoy.

Beautiful place, bad host

So let me just say, the place was absolutely beautiful and we had a great time! The issue we had though is definitely worth mentioning, considering it was completely out of our control and very poorly handled by the host. Four days before we were supposed to arrive, Hurricane Helene Was forecasted to make land as a category 4 storm somewhere around our property. Because Hardings are unpredictable, and it was still a few days away, I tried contacting the host just for a little piece of mind and the event that we weren’t able to travel. Keep in mind we were flying in Friday morning, which is when the hurricane made landfall.

Not welcoming

Upon arrival the property was not clean, there was not enough of towels or not one extra blanket. The cabin is not cozy, or welcoming. Seems like an empty cabin for someone to just stop to sleep. It appeared dead flies on the floor upstairs bedroom. The upstairs bathroom LEAKED into the master bedroom. I had to put towels on the floor and a pot to catch the water. The master bath shower had mold and mildew on the tiles and ceiling. The master bathtub had some kind of dirt or something coming from the jets. I made a call to the office and spoke to Jewell, she said she would return my call, I'M STILL WAITING. Of all the years I've used this website this is my first bad experience. I had to leave an honest review. This is what I base weather I wanna stay at a property or not. Just wanted to be honest in case you decide to stay. The location was very nice. WL

Riverwild

Very nice place overall. You are in the secluded woods so when you go outside, you are in nature’s territory, so there will be bugs around. With that being said, inside the cabin is very clean. The excess couches, futons, and such saved the days for us. There are six beds (one king main floor, one queen upstairs, two twin and two queen downstairs). If you can’t all sleep double to a bed, they have plenty of comfortable couches and futons to suffice. It was a very pleasant stay and have no complaints.

River wilds stay

Received a call an hour before check in stating we were not able to check in at designated time due to cleaning company not being finished. Check out is at 11- ample amount of time to clean property for new coming guests. The house was a great size and accommodated everyone well. There was no laundry soap or dish towels, which would have been useful. Hot tub filter had not been changed, let the management know and they took care of it immediately.

Very beautiful cabin, however the cleanliness was below average. Like nobody really care about it.

First impressions walking through the door everything was nice. In our first initial walk, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher that had recently been run through. There were also flies flying all over the place. By that I mean 30+ when we brought this up we were told to swat them out of our face as there was nothing they could do. We then bought a fly swatter and went to town killing them and it took 2 hours out of our first day. After that everything was nice, upon waking up there were more flies in the place which we killed once again each day more and more came. There were a few bugs in the hot tub when we first went to use it, dirt on the floor, then when we got to the bath tub. The tub was nice, however the waterfalls around them had mold all in the rocks and when we turned them on bugs flew out of the rocks. Which we avoided turning on for the rest of our stay. It is beautiful however unless the cleanliness gets better I won’t be stayin again. I would consider this to not be worth it for the effort and the things we had to overlook with the lack of support from staff. Due to us not being rude over the flies in the cabin we were offered a free night after we booked another cabin for two days to get the third free.

Lovely getaway place

We came with our friends from the UK for 4 days, and just loved this place! The pictures didn't do the place justice, it is just magnificent. The ONLY criticism would be that housekeeping did not do a very good job cleaning. There were cob webs all thru the kitchen, the front of the refrigerator was all smeared as if someone attempted to clean it and the bathroom floors were not cleaned. The place is so beautiful, we did not let those things interfere with our stay. The communication was excellent from the start, and someone was on the line to answer questions when we could not figure out where the breaker is for the hot tub. Keep doing what you are doing, just stay on top of house keeping.
