Wonderful Weekend Stay

We had a great time here! Just a short walk from the main street, we had a wonderful time visiting all of the local shops and restaurants. The house was lovely, just as pictured, and very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance. Thank you for having us!

Perfect Family Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at The Heartwood House. It was the perfect family getaway. The house was clean, beautifully updated, warm and cozy. Great amenities- Pop o shots basketball hoops, air hockey, large backyard, new grill and fire pit for s’mores! Great location-close to everything. We had a great time exploring Michigan. Sarah and Michael were great hosts! They were very responsive. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Exceptional Three Oaks Home

Property was as advertised-clean, wonderful upgrades and very communicative owners. Very welcoming home. We were in town to visit other Chicago friends staying in Three Oaks. Great time-beaches are close by-6 or 7 mile drive. Had dinners in town and also in nearby New Buffalo. We will certainly stay here again when travels bring us back to the area!! The town of Three Oaks is quaint but just what we were looking for to relax from our run around lifestyles. Great VBRO!!

Heartwood House

We had a great stay Heartwood House. It is a nicely updated home in a quiet neighborhood that is close to everything. Very clean, great appliances with lots of thoughtful amenities. It had everything we needed or wanted. Sarah was great to keep in touch and make sure all was going well. At first we found the layout of the home slightly awkward with one bedroom separated from its bath by the the other bedroom with the ensuite bath. But truly, it was not a big a deal at all. This is a great place to stay and we would definitely again!

Beautifully Updated Home with Vintage Charm

House has been tastefully updated while maintaining original details. We were in town for a wedding and wish we had more time to utilize the kitchen. Great location just minutes walking to everything in Three Oaks. We look forward to staying again in the future!

Great stay!

We came to town for a graduation party and stayed in this very clean and comfortable home. Everything is obviously well taken care of and Sarah and Michael are great hosts! The beds are super comfy and there was plenty of room for all of us. We definitely would book again if staying in Three Oaks. Thanks so much for everything...

Top of the line time!

Amazing stay! Great place! Echo others sentiments, so clean, so modern, instantly forgot you were renting and not at your own home. The location was an easy walk into town. Really, can't beat it. Only negative, had to work harder than I thought at beating my 7 year-old at air hockey by the end of the trip.

A Lovely Retreat

We had a wonderful weekend at the Heartwood House with our family. Sarah and Michael have created a beautiful and relaxing retreat! We loved playing air hockey, playing in the large backyard, and having fires at night. We would absolutely stay here again!

Long weekend retreat

We can’t say enough about this house and the hosts Sarah snd Michael! The house is amazing and will be our go to escape from Chicago from now on. Sarah was very responsive to all our questions. Our souls were recharged and we enjoyed ourselves even though the downtown was closed for the month of January!!!! Thank you so much!!!!

Fantastic stay

My family thoroughly enjoyed our four-day stay at this property. We explored numerous beach towns, lovely walks into Three Oaks, and a fantastic brunch at the nearby Journeyman distillery. The house is impressively clean, nicely decorated, and has a fantastic kitchen to make gourmet meals. Would highly recommend and stay again!

Nelson Family Getaway

This property was perfect for a quick or extended getaway with family. We were able to safely social distance while traveling and still a close drive to some very nice beaches and other attractions. The owners Michael and Sarah really make you feel at home.

Perfect place for couples looking for a weekend getaway. Walkable to all that Three Oaks has to offer, and easy access to nearby New Buffalo, beaches, casino, etc. Great communication with owner. Would definitely stay again.

Nice place, easy access to downtown
