Beautiful upgraded condo with all new kitchen and bathrooms. Great views of trees and mountains with lots of privacy. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (2 bedrooms on the main floor and 2 bedrooms downstairs). All bedrooms have beautiful views. One downstairs bedroom with fireview electric fireplace and 40" flat screen Roku TV. Living room has a 47" LCD TV with ROKU system featuring free Netflix, HULU plus and Amazon Prime channels. BluRay DVD player for your personal entertainment. Excellent stereo system and CD player for listening pleasure. If conditions are right you can ski the back country to the condo. Very convenient to hiking, restaurants, and Lake Tahoe amenities in the Summer.

Our family of 7 absolutely loved the property! The location was perfect and Scott was an amazing host! Plenty of room for us all, the kitchen was fully stocked, and access to skiing was great! We will definitely look to stay again!

Great stay to explore Palisades

Excellent appartment, easy commuication, clean and well furnished. Very spacious. The access to the slopes is easy using the Mountaineer transportation service (free). Thanks !

Great for a ski weekend

Great stay! 15 minute walk to alpine meadows and 30 minute or so drive to palisades in the morning ski traffic on a weekend. Very spacious for our group of 8!

Five Stars for Location & Comfort!

If you’re planning on skiing, it’s hard to find a better location than this condo for the price point. You can be at the parking lot at the subway chair in less than two minutes, making it easy to take folks back during the day if they are tired.The beds were super comfortable, even the pullout couch! There was enough space for both kids and adults to hang out and watch football, cook, and eat. We really appreciated having everything we needed to cook all of our meals and benefited from the pantry staples, spices, and Ziplock bags. We’ve stayed in dozens of different condos and homes in Olympic Valley—this is one that we will definitely return to again!

Somewhat dated

We were attending a wedding, but there was no iron. When the water was turned on there was a high pitched squeak. Doors squeaked as well until we oiled them. Nice walks and ski lifts were near by. It was very quiet which was nice.

Major Heating and Electrical Issues

The day before our arrival, we received an email from the owner warning us of electrical issues and asking that we turn off lights/the TV when using a hairdryer. We were concerned. We arrived at 5pm for a 4pm check-in time. The cleaners were still there and asked us to come back in 30 minutes. It was snowing hard outside, we had our two and three year old sons in the car, and a week's worth of groceries. They finally left at 6pm without finishing the laundry. That night our three year old came up from his downstairs bedroom, crying because he was freezing, so he slept with us. The owner does not disclose that there is no central heat. Each room is heated by a wall heater, electric fireplace, or pellet stove. With old aluminum windows, this place gets VERY cold. The next morning, I turned on the electric fireplace in the fourth bedroom for the first time. That immediately shorted a circuit and cut off the power to half the condo, including the entire downstairs and both TVs. The owner was unable to get an electrician to come until 5pm, we decided that was too late and needed to secure warm and safe housing for our young sons because of the major snowstorm. As evidenced by the email we received the day before arrival, the owner clearly had prior knowledge of the electrical issues at the condo. We write this review in hopes to spare another family the same stressful ordeal. This condo is not suitable for young children. We were very uncomfortable during our short stay and the owner has been difficult to communicate with since to resolve our dissatisfaction.

Great View from the balcony

The condo was perfect for what we needed. Everything was as advertised. Living room is a bit small but having multiple bedrooms and bathrooms is a plus.

Perfect for a group

Stayed here with friends for a wedding weekend and was the perfect property. Well priced, easy to check in, had everything we needed, everyone had their own space. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice place with lots of room

This 4 bedroom condo was ideal for our stay that consisted of 4 adults and two children. Pretty location 2 minutes from Alpine Meadows and a fast 15 minutes from Palisades Tahoe. The host Scott was very responsive when we had questions upon our arrival. I highly recommend this property!

Great condo near Alpine Meadows

My family and I stayed at this condo during the winter break holiday. It ended up snowing a few feet while we were there and the snow plows were working overtime! It was great to have a garage available to store a car (fit my 2019 Tacoma double cab) and skis/snowboards. We ended driving to the Subway lift which was only a couple minutes away. Just beware of the falling snow, the roof slopes towards the driveway area and the falling snow can get heavy at times!

Cute home and available on short notice

My group and I travel every june, july, and august but due to covid, we had nothing planned. When restrictions started to lift, we rushed to find something last minute that would accommodate our needs. After days of searching and almost giving up, we found this place. Its not right next to the lake but close enough that we didn't have to drive too far. So price was fair and at minimum, we only had to drive approx 15 mins to get to the lake. Everything was as described and the owners were very quick to respond to any questions that we had. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend.

Spacious, cozy rental with the perfect location

We rented this condo for a family ski vacation over February break & are so happy we did! First, the location can't be beat. While we heard other vacationers complaining of traffic getting to/from Squaw/Alpine from other surrounding towns, we were silently cheering that our place was directly off the Alpine parking lot which meant we could be in the lift line within minutes. You can also backcountry ski to the condo from Alpine which we didn't do but saw tracks from others around the condo complex. Location also came in handy when the Alpine road was closed due to avalanche blasting since it didn't affect us at all. The condo itself is very spacious, nice sized rooms with comfortable beds & furniture for relaxing at night. Towels & sheets were all decent quality (soft) & the property was very clean upon our arrival. We appreciated the care the owners took to stock the place w/ essentials needed for cooking, making coffee, shoveling out our car, & being prepared for power outages by having a propane heater in the closet downstairs. A huge bonus from the empty cabinets/closets of other properties we've rented in the past where you spend a fortune for spices & condiments that you use once then throw out. The owners were also responsive & helpful to us when the dryer broke during our stay. I got a call back quickly after sending an email & the repairman was there to fix the issue the following day. Excellent place & we'll stay there again for sure.

Spacious enough for our big family!

After the rush of the holidays our family headed to Tahoe for some R&R. We thoroughly enjoyed the condo. It was spacious enough for my husband and I and four teenage children. We spent most of our time outside enjoying Alpine, but when back home, we were very comfortable and cozy in doors. The best was that they had all the comforts of home - so cooking was easy. Loved the location - could not have been closer to the slopes. We look forward to returning. Thanks Kim & Scott for a wonderful family vacation.
