Fronte oceano con 325 'di spiaggia privata di sabbia. Nuova casa decorata con pezzi d'antiquariato ma con elettrodomestici moderni. Posizione privata lungo tranquilla strada sterrata. Circa trenta minuti per il parco nazionale di Acadia e Bar Harbor. Quindici minuti dalla città di Ellsworth con ottimi ristoranti e ottimi negozi!

All'esterno: Firepit (permesso richiesto) con sedili in legno, ampio portico che si affaccia sull'acqua con tavoli da picnic per mangiare all'aperto, portico anteriore più piccolo con bilancieri in legno che si affaccia sul parco giochi per bambini piccoli.

Primo piano: cucina abitabile con elettrodomestici nuovi e grande tavolo da cucina. Tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno per fare una cottura dell'aragosta o una colazione in famiglia! Ampio soggiorno con TV e caminetti a gas e due divani letto estraibili (in schiuma). Bagno con doccia e lavatrice / asciugatrice. Camera da letto con letto matrimoniale e camino.

Secondo piano: bagno con vasca e doccia separate e doppio lavabo. Una camera da letto con due letti matrimoniali, camino elettrico e vista sull'oceano. Seconda camera da letto con letto matrimoniale, culla e splendida vista sull'oceano. Terza camera da letto con letto matrimoniale e piccola stufa elettrica.

Secondo piano: una scala separata dalla cucina è una camera matrimoniale e un bagno padronale che è anche collegato attraverso un corridoio alle altre camere da letto. Letto king size in camera matrimoniale con vista sull'oceano. Il bagno principale dispone di vasca riscaldata con bolle e doccia separata.

Assolutamente NO ANIMALI (a causa di allergie in famiglia). Vietato fumare.

Such a beautiful house and property! I was repeatedly amazed at how quiet it was, especially while kayaking. The only sounds were usually the breeze and birds, and nothing else! Cyndy was a great host with many helpful suggestions. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful family getaway. About 45 minutes to Bar Harbour, 20 minutes to Ellsworth for groceries, restaurants, etc.

Check-in wasn't quite ready due to the last guests leaving the house full of sand. However the owner texted and communicated that the clean up was taking longer than normal. House was fully stocked with all the essentials such as kitchen ware, toilet paper, bath towels, sheets, blankets, etc. The beach is a short path from the house. Lots of beach combing to do there! We had a handful of perfect seaglass on every walk.

Maine family stay

Was a great place to bring your family and have a reunion. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The host was amazing and hospitable with great advice where to go.

Our host and the house were absolutely wonderful! The home was beautiful, very roomy and fully equipped and we were able to have a terrific lobster and clam dinner on our last night. Having a private beach was fabulous for our two toddlers as were the toys Cynthia left after asking us the kids ages. She had great suggestions on where to go for sites and food. It was an amazing, relaxing week and we hope to come back again! Thank you, Cynthia! 3

Wonderful home in a serene setting!

Eleven family members of three generations and three states gathered for a week in this spacious home amidst the wildflowers, immersed in fragrant forest, and steps away from the oceanfront and trails. The house is crammed with interesting books, memorabilia, history--and every utensil one would ever need to cook anything! We began and ended every day on the large veranda overlooking the ocean, utilized the grill and outdoor eating areas, viewed seals in the waters, kayaked, hiked in beautiful Acadia National Park--as well as many other trails amid gorgeous views. Our hostess gave us good info on best places to shop, dine, and rent equipment...and was easy to contact. All of us were sorry to bade this house--which so quickly had bcome "home" goodbye!

For the second year in a row we stayed a week at Cyndy's wonderful home on the Lamoine Narrows. Just as a lookahead, I can tell you that our grandkids are already asking if we can go back again next year. That's how enjoyable the experience was/is.There were eight of us, and the house easily accommodates our crew.Because Cyndy and her husband created this for her family, it's very family-friendly. You can relax and feel at home.The kids spent many hours, walking the beach, fishing, watching the wildlife, and picking up pretty rocks, sea glass, and sea shells. Cyndy was kind enough to loan rubber boots in lots of sizes.Each time the girls would come back in from a beach excursion, they were giddy from all the sea glass they had found.We got to see a bald eagle eating his dinner on the beach. A big porcupine visited us twice, and the kids were able to observe him from maybe ten feet away (he was up in a small tree, dining). Turkeys were common on our drives to town.The home is located within 25 minutes of Ellsworth, about the same to Hancock, 15-20 to MDI, 30 to Acadia National Park, and maybe 35 minutes to Bar Harbor. So there are many great places to explore, shop, and dine close by. There is a small grocery store within 15 min.Cyndy is the best host we've ever had with VRBO (and we've had a LOT). You cannot go wrong with this rental for your family, your vacation. I'm sure we'll be back.Note: the entrance road has been greatly improved.

Perfect family hide-away vacation spot

This is a beautiful property hidden in the woods, with interesting waterfront combining both beach and bedrock outcrops (including glacier scour tracks), plus a fire pit and a separate BBQ area. The house is exceptionally well-furnished, especially the kitchen, and had lots of toys for the 3 young kids (ages 2-4) such as the toy kitchen, toddler size slide, stuffed lobsters, etc. The hostess was amazing and super helpful and addressed all of our desires promptly and with a big smile. Literally, it could not have been better.

Great place for family time. Nice beach to explore, plenty of toys for the children, puzzles to complete during rainy days, house with cozy areas for conversation and alone time, full kitchen to cook anything you can think of especially lobster, reasonable drive to Bar Harbor, and your own place to spend quality time with your family.

We had a fantastic stay. We were a family of 11, from a newborn to my 77 year old father and everyone was comfortable. We loved exploring the property and beach. We collected mussels for dinner at low tide. Cyndy provided us so many great local recommendations and we really appreciated her hospitality. Hope to return one day!

Acadia Gem

This property is in a beautiful setting on the water. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, toys for the kids and relaxing chairs on the porch. We loved being a little bit "out of town" and having our own beach and water view. The owner goes above and beyond to share favorite places to eat at, to see and to explore. Communication was top notch and very easy. She responded almost immediately every time I reached out to her. We would highly recommend this house and will visit again if we return to the Acadia area.

Summer in Maine

A great location for families- very quiet and everything available for all ages. We had day trips daily around Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor but returned to Lamoine each afternoon. Whale watching out of Bar Harbor as well hikes in Acadia made for a great vacation.

Lovely place for a family vacation

We loved staying at this house for our family vacation. The design and antiques in the home make it super charming. We loved the location being on the river and seeing the tides. The host was super helpful and communicated greatly.

Amazing rental property...perfect place for the family

We have rented many VRBO properties over the years, but we agreed this one had to be right up there near the top. There were 8 of us...4 adults, four kids (18 mo-10 years). There was plenty of space and I can't emphasize enough: location, location, location! Our grandkids played on the long beach every day, eager to find out what new types of creatures / shells the tides had brought in. For the adults, just looking out on the view (from inside the home or from an Adirondack chair on the back deck) of the Mt. Desert Narrows was relaxing and beautiful. The home was comfortable and seemed to be made for exactly the type of family vacation we enjoyed. We saw all sorts of wildlife, including chipmunks, deer, and foxes. The owner was more accommodating than any other VRBO owner we have encountered. Once she realized what ages our grandkids were, she helped us by finding and loaning rubber boots (for the beach), a baby stroller, stair gates, many toys, and so forth. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. I'll add that the whole place is just that--comfortable. The owner even set up a baby bed for the 18 month-old. She recommended good restaurants in Ellsworth, MDI, etc. The road into the property is unpaved and goes through woods, but that helps make sure things are peaceful and quiet (at least until the grandkids woke up) for your visit. It's an easy drive into Bar Harbor and/or Ellsworth from this location. Overall, I'd have to give it an A+++++!

Over & Above

Not only was the rental amazing (spacious, right on the water, authentic) but Cyndy went over and beyond what we could have expected. Let us check in two hours early and brought us pizza! We've never experienced service like that in these type of rentals. We definitely will be back as soon as we are able! Thank you!

Awesome property for family vacation

Home was perfect for a 4 generation vacation. Cynthia was such a great host making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. If we had questions about anything she was quick to respond. We loved all the family space and toys to entertain the little one. The firepit near the water was wonderful, beach views to wake up to... can't say enough about this home and Cynthia. I purchased this property over 40 years ago and imagined spending time with my children and grandchildren looking for sand dollars, sea glass and playing in the sand. My dream has come true!

The gradual sandy beach is the perfect place for a beach getaway. Close enough to some incredible attractions (Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor) but far enough away to enjoy a quiet vacation.
