About Teresa Simon
City Haven III was built in response to the positive feedback we received from the original City Haven (vrbo Listing 585829) which is located right next door and upper unit of this home (vrbo listing 741854). These homes are part of a love story that started back in 2004 when I purchased this house. The following year, my now husband moved from New York and bought the house next door. When we met, I asked him to move his garbage cans out of my driveway. But soon I started asking him to salsa dancing. And then he asked me to dinner. We fell in love! The man who bought the house next door married the girl next door (me!). Two kids and a few years later, we kept the homes a rentals and moved a few blocks North. I left my job at Microsoft and we started buffing, remodeling, scraping and decorating these homes we've come to love. City Haven III is the result of a recent remodel that's turned this old 1920's Craftsman into a modern beauty with period charm. We're Team Simon and our whole family works to make this a place you'll love to call home for a while. We love it! And we hope you'll love it, too.

We bought this home for the same reason you'll want to stay here.... close to Green Lake (swimming, paddle boats, golf)! Close to the Zoo (animals, outdoor summer concerts)! Grocery store 3 blocks away (last minute wine and snacks)! Right next to the express bus to downtown and close to all the great restaurants in Fremont (cook, schmook... let's go out to eat)! It's the perfect centralized hub to live like a local while still being close to everything the downtown area has to offer. Home away from home!

City Haven III had everything I needed for my three month stay in Seattle. I spent most of my life in Seattle so I knew this would be an ideal location. I retired to an different state so I come to Seattle for long stays to see friends and family. This VRBO was the best one I have stayed in over the last 5 years. It was amazingly quiet considering it is in the city. There is great access to metro bus service but mostly I used my car so the parking space was a plus. When I was staying at the apartment alone I felt safe. But the space didn't feel crowded even when I had friends come stay several weeks with me. The beds were very comfortable. The huge walk in closet was useful for my long stay. The living room was spacious. The kitchen was well stocked so I could cook when I wanted to. There were several restaurants within walking distance. Four different grocery stores within a couple miles. I enjoyed meeting the owners and felt they were available whenever I needed anything. I will definately stay there again.
Cozy, inviting, well-equipped, great location, clean and modern!
This property was a gem - we were so fortunate to find it for our stay over New Year's Eve in Seattle. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, cooking equipment, tea, coffee, salt, pepper, olive oil and sugar. The unit is cozy and inviting and VERY clean. Shower is great and has shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There were plenty of fluffy towels and washcloths as well. Both beds were comfortable and warm, and we appreciated separate thermostat controls in both bedrooms separate from the main living area. The wi-if worked well and didn't cut out, and while it is smaller, it was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids, ages 9&11). Teresa was readily available via text and even notified us on our check in day that the place was available earlier than the initial check in hour if we wanted to come early. The place is also located within a 5 minute walk of a wonderful market where we could grab snacks, breakfast food, and beer/wine for the weekend. It was a very nice neighborhood - safe and quiet. Additionally, Teresa's initial communication included a very extensive list of restaurants, tourist attractions, and things to do in the area. We will definitely consider booking again if we are visiting Seattle again and the unit is available. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!
Lovely property. Plenty of room for 4 adults. The men did bump their heads once or twice but they soon remembered to duck. Easy access to HWY 99 and Seattle. The heaters were very efficient so it warned up quickly.
The property was very clean and tastefully furnished. The location was perfect for us .
We spent a week at this property. No need for us to rent a car. The buses and light rail were easily accessed. Green Lake is within walking distance. We hope to return to this property in the future.
Great Place to say
Property was exactly as described, and as we did not bother to rent a car we found the location and ease to catch public transport fine to work around.One suggestion would be to have a kettle unless we could not locate it. Apart from that place and host were great. Jim and Mary O'Connell stayed in Dec 2017 with two teen age children
