Overview

About the property

Condo Located in Beautiful Historic Building - Close to everything you need/want

3 bedroom, 2 bath condo located in a vibrant, remodeled historic building (building built in 1885, condo renovated in 2007). This unique spot has a three-story spiral staircase, exposed brick walls, and awesome views of the grounds. Open floor plan with large kitchen and island. 1 mile to Downtown TC and the beach. The 480-acre grounds host miles of hiking trails, and there are coffee shops, wineries, restaurants and more just an elevator ride away.

We have one bedroom with a king bed and an attached master bathroom. Another bedroom with two twin beds and space to set-up a pack n play. There is a loft bedroom that is open to the rest of the common areas that has a queen bed and a desk. We can also provide a blow-up mattress upon request to be set-up in the living room. We would prefer a max of 6 adults plus children to make sure everyone is comfortable and has enough space. Please note that this is not just a rental. It is also our home for 6 months of the year during the winter/spring.

**Condo is located on the 4th floor. There is an elevator that takes you to the 3rd floor but you do have to walk up a flight of stairs to access the condo on the 4th floor. The main staircase is a spiral staircase but there is also a regular staircase you can have access to during your stay.

Fun

  • 5 of 5

Great place, clean and stocked w the majority of things one would need. The only thing I was a little disappointed was there was no iron and the dishes in the cupboard needed to be rinsed off they weren’t the cleanest. The stairs can be tricky when carrying bags up or down. But overall it’s a very nice place. I would love to go back.

What a cool place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

This condo was one of the coolest places I’ve stayed. The location is so close to everything downtown and you don’t even have to leave “The Commons” if you don’t want to. We really enjoyed the two coffee shops, the various restaurants, brewery, winery, bakery and shops. The grounds itself has really nice paths and trails.

The condo was very clean with nice towels, bedding and the best drip coffee maker I’ve used. The welcome wine was a nice touch and very good. One thing I want to point out is the spiral staircase. If you get dizzy easily as I do, you might have to stop and clear your head after ascending and descending. I was not bothered by the clock that was mentioned in other reviews.

You’ll definitely feel like you are at your home away from home!

Great place, great location!

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful experience! Great communication from the owners as we thought we may be arriving late. She got back to us immediately and we had no problems. The location and size made this the perfect place for our larger size group. From the pictures I was a little nervous that it would be tight, but that wasn't the case at all. It is a very open living space and also light and bright. The cool windows, exposed brick wall and spiral staircase gave it so much character. Although stairs might not be the best for every family. The location being walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, bakeries, etc was just icing on the cake. I highly recommend staying here.

Perfect getaway space

  • 5 of 5

The space was wonderful for our girls getaway. Not only was the place more than spacious for our group of seven, but the decor and style made our stay even more enjoyable! The Commons offered a lot of things to do and see, and it was a quick and easy trip downtown on the free bus system. It was a great stay - we loved it!!

Outstanding Condo in Fantastic Location

  • 5 of 5

I can't say enough good things about our experience. The condo was clean, comfortable, well furnished, quiet, and everything that we had hoped for. Being part of The Village at Grand Traverse Commons was great as it gave us plenty of shopping and eating options on location. Carrie was quick to answer any questions we had. We will definitely be going back!
