Torch Lake Cabin Rentals~ Where Cozy Lakefront Cabins meet stunning Torch Lake!

Our little spot is a slice of Heaven~ plan to spend a couple more days here than originally planned, as that is what all of our previous guests have said!!

Each of the three large private cabins have a bathroom with a shower unit, sink, & toilet. Each bathroom also has a small shelf space & hooks for towels. There are two bedrooms, a master bedroom (Q) & a 2nd bedroom (bunk beds), each with hooks, hangers and dressers.
The kitchenette/kitchen includes a full size fridge, stove/oven, and are equipped with a small microwave, toaster, coffee pot, cookware, dishes & drink-ware, utensils and kitchen towels. There is a long eating bar with 6 stools, as well as the dining table in the living/dining/great room.
The combination living/dining room/great room contains a dining table, large futon and a view overlooking beautiful Torch Lake, with a side door accessing the lake side!
Outside of each cabin is a picnic table, a porch with 2 chairs and a charcoal grill for your use (you provide the charcoal!)
All cabins have access to a private common fire pit, with available wood, lawn space, private beach, beach toys, life jackets, swim platform, kayaks, and paddle boats.
Boaters can also tie up to one of our mooring buoy's and use our guest dock to load and unload. We have trailer parking on the property as well.
It is truly a place to come to stay and play in the water, on the beach, or on the lawn!!

Quiet Torch Lake cottage

I loved this quiet get away with family. I was expecting other families to be there but one cabin was vacant and other guests kept to themselves. The property offered great beach and dock amenities. My only suggestion would be to read the host book policies right away to be more prepared. The owners/manger live on site and are very present day to day. Also no WiFi or good cell service.

Summer 2024

We stayed here with my children (5,7,9yrs) for several nights and days. The rental is set perfectly with enough grass for the kids to run and play, perfect view of the lake, dock access, with a clean little beach area for the kids to play at. The description of the property was exactly how it is in person. Kathi was very responsive and approachable if we ever had questions. We will be booking for an extended family stay next year!

Great spot on torch

This is a perfect place to spend some relaxing time on Torch lake. Kathi and her husband were great hosts. Very responsive! The cabin was clean and was a great place to wind down after kings days on the water. Fire pit was a nice bonus. Would definitely come back.

Simply heaven

This was perfectly preserved cabin life with its original charm and an ode to the simple vacation. The property is magnificent with multi-level lake views that take your breath away. Nothing more is needed! Yet there are plenty of lake toys, a big sandy beach and a pristine sandy bottom lake for swimming. We loved it all!

Enjoyed out stay very much

Great location for a peaceful gateway while still being close to everything in the Traverse City area. The view of Torch Lake is beautiful. Having Kayaks and paddle boats right there on the property was a nice touch also. Kathi and her husband are wonderful hosts.

Lovely log cabin along Torch Lake

If you could give more than 5 stars I would. We arrived to a quaint log cabin situated along the western shore of a pristine clear blue lake. The hosts Paul and Kathi were delightful, going way above and beyond to ensure that our stay was memorable. We commented more than once that we would like to make a return visit. . . Thank you so much for hosting us.

Girls Weekend Getaway!

We had a group of 4 women who stayed for a weekend girls getaway. The cabin was perfect for us and the lake is beyond beautiful. Perfect retreat for what we needed and close enough to Elk Rapids for shopping! We will be returning next year!

Wonderful place

We had amazing time. Kathi and Paul were very caring, took time to show the kids fun stuff and facts about the lake. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Great vacation at Torch Lake

We had a great time at cabin #3! It was a comfortable stay for 3 people and a dog. The kitchen had everything we needed. The big picture window had a great view of the lake. We rented a pontoon boat from Dewitt Marine and went all over the lake looking at all the fabulous houses and searching for fish. What a beautiful lake! Sandbar at the south end was loads of fun! The cottage was centrally located such that we made day trips to Bellaire for dinners at Short's Brewery and Shuss Mountain (River Bistro). We also picked up some groceries at Family Fare. Suggested improvements: Install a set of steps to the dock for people in cabin 2 and 3. The hill to the dock is very steep and treacherous for seniors like us (especially in the rain Thur & Fri). Also, we were required to moor our pontoon boat when not in use to a buoy 25 - 30 yds out from the dock. There were logs and branches and debris on the floor of the lake between the dock and the buoy that made it difficult to pull our boat safely back and forth to the buoy. It would have been nice to tie up to dock, but we were told that the dock was not securely anchored to the lake bottom to allow this. Also, small rugs would be a great idea inside the cabin by the front and back doors so we could wipe our shoes when coming in.

Great Memories Made!

We love the cabin. They are well equipped and very clean. The setting is a little slice of heaven on earth. The owners are very kind and helpful. We would love to make this a tradition in our family...

Awesome Place!

The set up of the cabins are great and definitely make you feel up north. The place also had a bonfire pit for late night fires and multiple canoes and paddle boats. The owner, Kathi, goes out of her way to make sure you enjoy every aspect of your stay. Did I mention how awesome and beautiful the lake is? Could not have had a better experience and will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommended!

We rented two cabins so I will write the same for both

The Cabins where everything the description stated, we liked being away from the sandbar for some nice quite nights, family campfire, great sunsets, awesome beach for the kids to play, canoe, paddle boats, small sailboat all available to use, morning tie off for our boat made it easy. Just a short boat ride to the surfside for dinner or lunch and shop (10 minutes tops) and 15-20 minutes to the world renowned sand bar! We live on a lake down state but nothing nearly as beautiful as Torch Lake. The best way to describe how we felt is that we are going to rent them again next year, that should say it all!! Only reason I am not giving them a 5 star is they are cabin's but the location and the cleanliness are for sure 5 Star and so was Sarah who help us book our stay, very responsive to all phone calls and emails, very polite.

Very nice cabins!

Our stay was very nice! The cottages were very rustic and clean. Our cottage was a bit more rustic than the other two and question whether it should be priced the same as the other two. A few bugs inside the cabins but I think that is normal. The owner should definitely put some roach traps around the cottages. We saw a lot of those. The view of Torch Lake was beautiful and the grounds are very nicely kept! Campfires were nice every evening! There was no DVD player in our cabin which was not what the original amenities advertised. We were disappointed with that since our son brought his DVD movies to watch. More fans would have been nice as the weather was nasty the first few days we were there. Coasters would also be nice so as not to ruin the nice wood tables there. Overall, very nice place! Would do it again for sure!

If you find that this cabin is already booked for your particular dates, don't despair, we have 3 other cabins for you to choose from! The 2 larger cabins and 1 smaller cabin (#879526, 868977 and 879529) might also be of interest and/or suit your needs.
Have a larger family? Wanting to bring friends? There is the option to rent one or all four at the same time and for multiple days or weeks, depending on availability.
