About John or Kathy
Grandpa and grandma built this cottage in 1940 and we are blessed to still have the cottage in the family. Our grandchildren are fifth generation Glen Lakers! The cottage sits on the site of what was going to be the beach house for Mr. D. H. Day's golf course located across the street (M22) on Alligator Hill. You can easily hike this trail right across the street.
Why John or Kathy chose Glen Arbor
There are beautiful views of the lake. One of the best on the lake! The water is crystal clear. The bottom is firm; no muck or seaweeds. The location is close to town, shops, restaurants, bike trails and more. The cottage is well equipped We hope you will be able to make lasting memories vacationing at beautiful Glen Lake as we have.
What makes this Cottage unique
We are located a short distance from town which is easily bike-able or walk-able on back roads. Once in town there are numerous fun shops to explore as well as the newly expanded park with tennis courts, pickle ball courts, basketball courts and lots of play equipment for the kids. Also, the Heritage Bike Trail is very close and you can ride on paved trails through the woods to Lake Michigan, Glen Haven, the dunes, or even Empire if you're up for it. We are also only a short drive to the famous Sleeping Bear Dune Climb and numerous golf courses.
