We are a husband and wife team that loves the lakeshore. We have been renting out our condo for over 5 years now and love to have guests stay. We are open to any suggestions and hope that we help in some way to create special memories for our guests.

King size bed in master bedroom with premium bedding. Simple rental experience including designated parking and keyless entry to locks so that guests are not required to coordinate manual keys.

We relaxed & watched movies, walked the beautiful boardwalk & down by the beach & lighthouse. And enjoyed the local eateries, coffee shop, pub & Kilwins for chocolate. Will definitely be back (next month)!
Great location / service
The location of the condo was great, close to the park and has a nice view of the river / channel entrance from lake Michigan. We were there in the winter so not much going on in that regard but it was a perfect little getaway and very walkable to bars / restaurants.
This is by no means anything negative, but if you have a large vehicle it could be hard to park in the provided space so just FYI. I have a crew cab F150 and if the parking area was full, like it prolly is in the summer, I dont know if I would have been able to get it into the space.

No Hot Water
Everything was going great until we attempted to shower and found that the unit did not have hot water. The owner was notified and said that they would fix the problem. When we checked out the problem was still not corrected. The issue was brought to the owner's attention at which time she attempted to place the blame on us......? It has come to my attention that they may have known about the problem prior to our stay. We have been advised that it is not profitable to rent out the unit for short stay's and that they dont' make any money. I do not see how this is my concern......We have been asked not to stay in their property again? Not sure what the malfuntion was with this property rental, but I have never received this type of a response from an owner over any type of concern.
Beware of these types of guests. To correct this review the guest sent in a status of the water being Luke warm. We had a repair tech review the issue of which both elements had been replaced at a cost of $300. We heard nothing from this guest until 2 days after the stay of which they indicated they would be giving us a very good review except the water was cold and they needed a 35% discount. We gave them the 35% discount and they gave us this review. Beware of these types of guests. We will not rent to them again because of this approach. As a guest please let the host know of any issues so that they can address them when they occur. And never make false claims that you will give a good review if the host refunds you money.
My daughter and I stayed here for the night. We walked to a restaurant and enjoyed the view out the harbor. Very nice!!
