The property was a prime location to all of the things that we wanted to do- Sleeping Bear, Leland , TC. The location on the lake was incredible! Super close to town! Gorgeous sunsets every night! It was a great Up North cottage for our stay.
Great up north home with everything you could need for a family vacation. We had a family of 6 and there was plenty of room for us to enjoy the beauty of Lake Ann. A few things that we enjoyed about the rental
*Fully stocked kitchen and house.
*Paddle boat and fishing kayaks
*Large TV to watch blackhawks hockey games at night
*Dock to store boat all week and enjoy the lake
*Perfect views of the sunsets every evening by the firepit

Seems a little odd
Everything was great until we realized the owners were staying on the property behind the garage in a camper.
It really seemed odd that it wasn't disclosed.
wonderful cottage with everything u could possibly want in a fabulous vacation
We all loved the cottage and the lake the sunsets were the best we have ever seen and Im almost 70 and have wathed sunsets all over the world. Owners responded to any questions almost immediately. The only thing I would add would be instructions for use of new washer and dryer we always could end up with turning them on but never could figure out how we did it. Thank you so much for such a wonderful nostolgic vacation. It was a bit warm a couple days we were there but the air conditioning in the master bedroom helped and we brought extra fans so with your 2 fans and ours we made fine. We also loved the intertubes on the back porch. Hope we left everything as we found it.
Our stay was amazing! The hosts are excellent and made us feel very at home. The cottage location is great and the sunsets are fantastic. Waking up to a view of the lake is priceless. The cottage is as described and provided all the comforts needed for our family to have a great vacation. Highly recommended!
Great location to travel to Traverse City, surrounding lakes and rivers, and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Grilled most nights and watched the spectacular sunsets. Spent a day at the house to sun on the dock, swim, read, and relax. Used the kayaks daily and the peddle boat to swim deeper in the lake. It is a very clean lake.
The house was very clean. It sits in a very quiet setting. The owners thoughtfully left things like firewood, laundry detergent, and spices in the cabinet. We appreciated those little things and had a wonderful time.
What a great lake house gem! Perfect location to visit other great attractions and a clear/clean lake to come back and relax at! Would highly recommend this location and hope to have return visit!
Beautiful lake, short drive to Traverse City and Sand dunes, nice neighbors, good places to dine nearby, and well maintained parks nearby for kids. With the exception of the bathroom we really enjoyed our stay. The bathtub, tile, and surrounding floor were in bad shape and looked filthy. Bath time was not fun for any of us. The outside could also be improved if the deck were painted, grass was replanted, and lounge chairs were provided. All in all we enjoyed our time and would would love to stay again, if the bathroom is fixed.
We had a really nice stay, the location is perfect being just a few min drive from town. The screened-in porch was nice to have for our extra things, the kayaks were wonderful and the master bedroom is beautiful. The kitchen and dining/living area are a bit small with younger kids, so be aware of that!
The cottage couldn't have been better. It is very well stocked and clean. The backyard is great- right on the lake, some room to play yard games, nice deck, firepit and grill. The location can't be beat. The Village of Lake Ann is wonderful, everything you need is there. So close to Sleeping Bear Dunes (and Traverse City but we didn't make it there). Lake Ann was perfect as well - great fishing and not overcrowded. Would love to stay again and highly recommend.
This place is such a gem and the property owner thought of everything. We stayed for a week with our young son and his grandparents and had a great time exploring the area! We loved taking the kayaks and paddle boat out on the lake, sitting by the firepit to watch the sunset, and playing in the water. The water is very shallow and good for little ones to splash around. The cottage is also centrally located about 30 minutes from Glen Arbor. Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leland, and Traverse. Highly recommend if you want to be close to everything but off the beaten path!
It was very nice as listed. Close to a nice restaurant and bar with nightly music. Not too far from Traverse city, but we wanted slightly isolated lakefront community. The neighbors were quite nice. The A.C. unit was literally the only drawback since the cabin got a little too warm for us in the evening. The cabin was very nice and the lake was beautiful at night.
