Traverse Retreat is nestled on a peaceful one-acre lot. This newly designed home is the perfect blend of relaxation and fun. Brand new furniture, bedding, stocked kitchen and cozy living spaces ideal for families or groups. Movie/game room with universal arcade machine, karaoke and poker table. Big backyard features HOT TUB, two disc golf baskets, golf practice net, cornhole, and FIRE PIT! Two car garage doubles as additional game area with darts, ring toss and ping pong. Help yourself to our inflatable stand up paddle boards with car pump. Less than 10 minutes to downtown Traverse City. Ten minutes to Farm club which is a farm, brewery, restaurant and market place recently featured in The New York Times. Minutes to the TART bike trail and wineries of Leeanau County. Twenty-five minute drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Unwind. Have fun! Up to 2 dogs welcome with a $100 pet fee.

We had a family of 4 plus grandparents for a total of 6 plus a dog. The house was great for everyone to have their own spaces and gathering areas for meals and games was perfect for 6. The house was setup nicely for a dog and had blankets for the dog that ours loved. The hot tub was a nice warmup spot to get out of the snow. The owners were great with communication and quick to respond. Overall this house was a great pick for us.

What a pretty property! We were in Traverse City for a girl's weekend and we are talking - grandma, mom, daughter and friends. There was something for everyone and the house couldn't have felt any more welcoming and homier! And the location was perfect - close to downtown, close to the vineyards and so much more. Thank you!!

Very clean and lots of amenities

The place was perfect for what we needed and a good location for the things we wanted to do. The amenities were nice and the owners really stocked the kitchen well with cooking utensils. Was very considerate of little ones with toddler plates, spoons and forks. Quiet neighborhood, nice backyard, decorated well with recent updates. Timely responses from the property manager.

This house was perfect for our group of 8 (2 families). The ping pong table, dartboard, Pacman machine (with other games), karaoke machine, disc golf, and hot tub were a big hit for all ages while hanging at the house. The paddleboards (with auto pump that plugs into the car) was such a nice touch and were so fun to take out on Lake Michigan! House is centrally located... only 10 minutes from restaurants, grocery stores, and downtown Traverse City; and very easy to get to Sleeping Bear Dunes and lots of beautiful Lake Michigan beaches. Drew and Bridget were super communicative, very responsive, and check-in/out was a breeze. I would highly recommend and would definitely come stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

This property is perfect for every type of visitors. We rented for a 4 day Ladies Getaway and we enjoyed this property to the max. It's not walkable to downtown or restaurants, etc. but we used Lyft when we didn't want to drive ourselves. The owners have thought of everything! We started with a great night around the fire pit, wineries & casino, golf, shopping & The Tall Ship - Manitou, and some great restaurants! Everyone was exhausted when we left!

Great Home with EVERYTHING you need!

Our family of 7 (including a set of grandparents) was in town to tour Great Lakes Maritime Academy with our rising high school senior. This property is an easy 10-15 minute drive to Traverse City and the Maritime Academy and is the most thoroughly and thoughtfully stocked rental home we have ever stayed in. Aside from the location, we picked this home primarily because it is pet-friendly (we were traveling with our dog), has furniture/common spaces that allowed all 7 of us to sit & spend time together, and it had an ideal bed/bedroom setup. The home seems to have been recently renovated and is VERY clean and comfortable. In addition, the ping pong table and hot tub were both in perfect condition and were used and appreciated!

Our home is owned and operated by us and meticulously thought out from first hand experience staying in rental properties all over the world. We offer the cleanliness and amenities of big company operated listings but with the coziness of a real home and real home-owner hosts. We grew up vacationing in Traverse City and believe there is no match anywhere else in the world. We've tried to find one. But these melted glaciers are unbeatable. We can't wait to share our love for this area with you.
