** Nous avons 2 kayaks et des vĂȘtements de flottaison individuels (VFI), 2 paires de raquettes et 2 vĂ©los (vous apportez vos propres casques) pour le plaisir de nos clients.

La cabine est une location de vacances toute l'annĂ©e entiĂšrement rĂ©novĂ©e dans les Adirondacks au bord du lac Algonquin. Le salon est aĂ©rĂ© et lumineux et contient une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat et une variĂ©tĂ© de DVD Ă  choisir pour votre plaisir de visionnement. La cuisine contient toutes les commoditĂ©s attendues pour un sĂ©jour de vacances. Le porche avant est un endroit idĂ©al pour s'asseoir sur les chaises berçantes et profiter de l'ambiance de votre environnement. Inclus est toute la literie, les serviettes, le cĂąble, le service tĂ©lĂ©phonique local et le WI-FI. Il y a aussi une laveuse et une sĂ©cheuse pour nos clients. L'accĂšs au lac est Ă  une courte distance de marche. Il existe de nombreux sentiers de randonnĂ©e locaux, le ski alpin et le ski de fond sont Ă  proximitĂ© et les sentiers de motoneige sont accessibles directement depuis l'Ă©tablissement. En tant que rĂ©sident permanent des Adirondacks, nous fournirons des informations sur toutes les activitĂ©s, les restaurants, oĂč vont les «locaux» et tous les points d'intĂ©rĂȘt.

Cute and very clean cabin. Hosts very responsive. Although there is no lake view (short walk to lake), the wonderful screened in porch made up for it. Nice quiet neighborhood with very friendly people. Nice large property. Fishing was difficult due to low water level, however lake is very pretty. My friend’s husband did catch from shore a nice 18” smallmouth bass weighing over 3 lbs. Enjoyed the deer visits.

Absolute great place to stay. The decor is adorable and on theme with the Adirondacks. They had everything to make our stay as easy as possible and it was definitely walking distance to the beach which was perfect for the kids! The hiking and the kayaking were a huge hit too!

Great location for our family get-together (have other family members who have a place in Wells and rent another VRBO there) so perfect for what we wanted. Very comfortable and well supplied with toys (bikes, kayaks, etc.) Great location for lake access and just relaxing!

We enjoyed the location because of the privacy and lake access. Also, the house included a washing machine and dryer for our laundry. The owner made sure we had everything we needed and was super friendly.

Great place to stay

House was very cute and comfortable, with easy access to snowmobile trails. Driveway was plowed nice and wide with plenty of room to load and unload snowmobiles from a four place snowmobile trailer.

Weekend away

Just a quick weekend trip - The cabin was far enough out of the way to have privacy but close enough to activities so that we weren't bored. If we had been staying longer I'm sure we would have taken advantage of the kayaks and the bicycles that were provided. The fire pit looked inviting but it rained most of the weekend. Overall this was a great day. Communication was great and the house was perfect for what we needed it for. Thank you so much for letting us share your home away from home.

Clean, comfortable, affordable

We had a wonderful stay! We came from camping for 4 days and were ready for some comforts of home. The cabin heated up quickly, it was remarkably clean and non-cluttered, and had everything we needed. A+++ stay!

3rd time is the charm

This was the 3rd time staying in Tom & Loretta's cabin. Each time has been amazing, hence the return for the 3rd year in a row. Easy access to Lake Algonquin, kayaks provided, bikes to utilize & central to Lake George & Saratoga. Cozy retreat filled with the "small things" & a very safe space. We will be returning in 2025 :)

Wonderful

We had such a wonderful time. The cabin was clean and homey with lots of wonderful touches. My kids had a blast playing in the yard, making s’mores in the firepit and walking to the lake. The host’s recommendations were spot on. We would definitely stay again!

My wife and Myself spent the month of July at the Lazy Bear Cabin. we like to vacation in remote locations in different parts of the United States. Wells, New York in the Adirondack mountains was the perfect spot this year. Being away from your home for a month and being comfortable at the place your staying could be an issue. This was not the case at the Lazy Bear Cabin. The Cabin was very clean and very comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessories that you would need. We like hiking and learning about the history of the area we are visiting. After a hike or driving to a museum or an area with history, it was nice to come back to the cabin and relax. Lorretta and Tom [the hosts], were great people and they let you know they are available for any questions or help. You will not be disappointed with your stay at the Lazy Bear Cabin Darrae and Louie

Wonderful stay at the Lazy Bear!

Our family of 3 was looking for a quiet, relaxing time at the end of the year in a remote area, and we found exactly what we needed at the Lazy Bear cabin! The cabin was warm, clean and cozy with great amenities. We didn’t cook too much, but it looked like the kitchen had mostly everything we needed. Tom and Loretta were friendly, responsive hosts who had great suggestions for their guests to explore the beautiful Adirondacks region. Great hikes nearby and for a day trip, Lake George Village is less than an hour away. We would love to be back!

Great family getaway!

The cabin was perfect for "Old Homes Days" weekend (my 47th or so) to visit family and enjoy all the outdoor activities around Wells. We definitely hope to stay here again during ski season. Thank you so much!

Cabin Feel, Beautifully Appointed

Loretta is a great communicator and the place had everything you needed and thensome! My son and hubby went on a short bike ride and if we had more time, the kids would have taken the kayaks out as well! It is awesome that these additions are provided to enjoy the areas lake. We marveled at all the little bear decor everywhere! Must have been fun to find so many things bear related! The place was immaculate as well and the use of the laundry machines were awesome as well! If we are ever back this way, we will definitley stay here again! Definitely check out Christine Falls and Auger Falls! They are worth it for sure! Thanks for sharing your amazing place woth others!

Tom has lived in the southern Adirondack area his whole life and Loretta is from Long Island. So think along the lines of Green Acres - Eddie Albert and Eva Gabor (not to that extreme!) Despite our different backgrounds, we both share a love of the outdoors and nature. We hike frequently and every trail we recommend, we have done it! This picture of us was taken in October 2017 at the summit of Buck Mountain overlooking Lake George.

This property has been in Tom's family for many, many years. It has been completely renovated. Our goal is to provide a memorable getaway for all of our guests. We are very attentive to special requests and provide a 'Welcome Book' that is full of information on 'things to do' in the area. We are meticulous when it comes to the cleanliness of the cabin and we believe there is everything there that our guests would expect for a stay.

The property gets plenty of sunshine throughout the day. The property has lake rights and access to the public beach is very close. We offer kayaks, bicycles, snowshoes, hammock, fire pit and we supply the wood! No additional costs for these amenities. There are many bears inside the cabin. One of our previous guests even left us a count of every bear in every room!
