About Tombo Jones

Family of four, enjoy the cabin for use ourselves as well.

Tombo Jones purchased this cabin in 2004

Why Tombo Jones chose Suches

Our cabin is located right next to the Appalachian Trail and bordering the national forest. We love hiking and decided on this location based on its proximity to the trail. It is located just off the trail in Henry Gap, which is between Woody Gap and Blood Mountain at mile 24 on the AT.

What makes this cabin unique

Roku TV, New Memory Foam Mattresses (Queen, Full and two bunk beds), Ping Pong, Outdoor Fire Ring and Front Porch Swing.

Just what we needed!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay. Especially the new memory foam mattresses and even got to watch the college football finals on the ROKU TV.

Great location and amenities!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here with my wife for a few days to seek some time away from a busy schedule with 3 kids. We found the cabin to be extremely clean and well kept. The location is perfect for outdoor activities with incredible views on the AT just yards away. We both loved the wood burning fireplace which made for some wonderful evenings around the fire on cold winter nights. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone that wants to get away and enjoy the outdoors!

Girls' weekend

  • 4 of 5

Three of my classmates and I spent a great weekend here....the cabin was beautiful and well-maintained....plenty of space and bathrooms for 4 women!!!! The only thing we disliked is there are no window coverings for most of the windows which is fine for daytime hours but we didn't like it after dark.....other than that, no fault found!!!!! Great place!!!!

Owner's Response: Mrs J, Thanks so much for staying with us. To paint a clear picture for future guests, there are window shades on all the bedroom and bathroom windows. The only windows without shades are the living room. Thanks for the feedback Mrs J.

Extra clean cabin and nice owners.

  • 5 of 5

We rented this cabin for a girls weekend. The owner was very nice and eager to help with anything we might need to make our stay better. The cabin was super clean which was a big plus for us. I would love to stay here again if we come back to the area.
