Big on Location Short on Cleanliness

Great location…minutes walk from the strip…beautiful beach and great beach bar (Palm Pavillion) a block away!Nice condo…well laid out and enjoyable for families.Not so clean upon arrival, especially the outdoor decks…place needs some maintenance attention as well.Owner was responsive and attentive!

clearwater townhouse

The townhouse is in a great location: 2 blocks from a wonderful beach with umbrellas and chairs, close to restaurants, a nice neighborhood and a park with playground across the street. The rooftop deck is the only outside space and is very comfortable with good views. We needed an elevator and it worked well.The house needed a deep cleaning and we found trash under the furniture and a wad of hair in the shower drain.The park near by with a swimming pool wasn't open due to hurricane damage and this info was known by the owner but not shared. The hot tub on roof did not have a cover and was dirty from blowing dust. The beds were comfortable.

Everything you need in a perfect location!

This property is situated perfectly near the main strip and the beach. It's quiet and private yet steps away from everywhere you want to be. The house is in great condition and is furnished and equipped nicely. You have great views from the rooftop. The owner is very responsive. The area is family friendly and felt very safe.

Fabulous family getaway.

Perfect accommodations for family. Location wonderful. Easy access to beach, pool, park and restaurants. Lots of space for all. Laundry facilities were ideal. Rooftop amazing. We had a glitch with internet connection and our host Kate arranged for help immediately! Garage filled with lots of beach toys for all ages. The neighborhood is so close to the beach and yet very safe and quiet. We will be back!

Amazing property & amazing location!

We absolutely loved this property. The rooftop views are incredible and we were pleasantly surprised that there was a park for the kids just across the street. You can see the beach access from the rooftop, it’s just a block away! Will definitely return.

Great location and property

We loved being able to walk to the beach so easily. You can watch the sunrise or sunset from the roof. Nine of us were comfortable at the property. Plenty to see and do in the area. We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The property owner responded quickly to any of our questions.

Fantastic place, fantastic location

We loved the property, it is located within walking distance to pretty much everything in Clearwater Beach, and only a block over from the beach. It is well equipped with beach items as well as kitchen and living items. There is ample room for people to spread out for privacy when wanted or to come together in common areas. We all loved the rooftop deck. Highly recommended!

Great location!

It was our first trip to Clearwater Beach, and we enjoyed the area so much. Friendly people and great food with a clean, white beach. So nice! The recent reviews of the property on VRBO are accurate. When we had an issue and contacted the owner, she responded promptly and send someone over to address the issues even though we share led that none of the issues were deal-breakers for us.

Great property with excellent access to the beach

Our family of 8 stayed at this property for a week and were very satisfied with everything. We could be at the beach within 5 minutes of walking. Plenty of places to order food for takeout. Kitchen was stocked very well. Nice safe neighborhood to walk around at if you wanted too. You could park in the garage if you wanted or outside on the driveway. Really no complaints at all and we would stay here again.

Very nice!!

Just off Clearwater Beach, a very short walk. Multi-level unit, which, while unusual, worked very well for our family situation. (Not the place for you if you have anyone with mobility issues.) The deck on top floor was great. The pictures are accurate. Recommend the "Palm Pavilion Restaurant," two blocks away and on the beach. We enjoyed our week.

Great Time

Kate’s place was perfect for our (two) family vacation. The location was very convenient for getting to the beach and was far enough north so that it wasn’t the most congested part of the beach. It was February break when we were there so it was quite busy in the area. The roof top area was a nice place to have dinners. We did have a small issue when we first checked in (house hadn’t been completely cleaned yet) but Kate responded quickly in a professional manner and it did not have a negative impact on our experience. We’d definitely come back and stay here again. Thanks, John

Summer Ease

Overall a great townhome. The elevator a godsend. Loved hanging on the rooftop. Sure, a few things that could use updates. Suggestion for easier settling in. A friend has a rental ‘notebook’ with anything one needs to know….ie thermostats, what is where, things in area, garbage p/u, etc. We found we kept running across ‘notes’ about all that all over the house. 😊 Thanks so much for being so responsive.

Great location!

This was a great place to stay and it fit our family comfortably. Super close to the beach and the local pool. Let them know at the pool where you are staying then you get half price. Loved the elevator since there are 5 floors. Convenient with luggage and groceries. Upgrades definitely need to be made on beach chairs and umbrellas. The carts to take to the beach also need to be replaced. WiFi is super slow, had trouble watching Netflix. Box needs to be moved closer to the TV on main floor. Chairs in dining room need to be thoroughly cleaned. But overall a good time, sad hot tub was not working, they should remove it if not going to fix.

Disappointing

Decision: Clearwater place for our children and grands, 10 of us in all. So excited to see Kate’s listing. 5 floor townhouse sleeps 10, but elevators. 1 block from beach, green space for kids. Nice decor and, the deciding factor, rooftop terrace w hot tub! and gas grill. We decided we’d be spending lots of time up there after the beach. There were great reviews which confirmed our decision. Reality: be prepared for the unit to be much smaller than photographed, I’m aware of marketing tricks of photography. As I unpacked, I found the only closet in the room was locked, only a few hooks over the door. We hung a few things on the hooks and lived the week out of our suitcases. Same true in the bedroom w 2 queen beds - no hangers or closet. The master suite was very nice, as described. The rooftop had the promised view but much of it was taken up by the anticipated hot tub / that obviously hadn’t worked in a while as it was full of algae, more an eyesore than the expected treat. The chair cushions were stored in a decorative box but were soaked and one soiled By birds. There were not enough cushions for all chairs. The grill propane tank had enough for only one use. The property manager said should be another tank in the garage. There was not but manager brought a new one the next day. The property description and welcome letter said not to bring beach chairs or towels, as they are provided. We took the provided chairs to the beach but after preliminary test determined they were very old and not sturdy enough for adults. The dishwasher worked only one time. Manager hand washed dishes that were in it and had repairman come next day. It couldn’t be repaired so new one finally came Thursday. Of course, I spent multiple vacation hours waiting for repairmen. I don’t think the house was properly prepared for vacationers. Overall, my family had a nice vacation at Clearwater Beach. The location is very good. There were things about the townhouse that were satisfactory- kitchen worked well with all needed dishes and tools, plenty of hot water for showers, elevator was great to have, good washer and dryer in the garage, quick response from Property manager. I understand many improvements were going to be made in the weeks following our stay. Things may be better now. Hope this helps Kate be aware of what needs to be addressed.

Walkable and quiet

I stayed here for a week with 5 adults, child, and infant. It’s appreciated that we things are provided (e.g., towels, beach equipment, dish soap). The top floor has its own thermostat and ac, which is nice. There’s a nice roof top that has a great view of the beach and bay. Owner was responsive to our needs and stayed in close contact. I would stay again.

4th of July

Had a good stay. Great location! Loved the rooftop and jacuzzi. Not complaining just pointing a couple things out. Darker curtains on east side bedrooms, more towels, facecloths, and trash cans full and stinky when we got there. Trash day is Thursday so I’m sure this is not easy to coordinate. I would highly recommend to a group of 8-10 Plus can’t beat the beach

Great for families or big groups. Perfect location

We had a great time. Very close to the beach. We had to wait a little bit to get in because the group before us trashed the place so the poor cleaning person was still there when we checked in but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall great place to stay

Perfect Home for Multi-Family Vacation

It was a perfect house for multi-family vacation. Both families were able to share yet have privacy. Neighborhood was nice. Only warning is that there is a karaoke bar across the street that opened late and you the music echoed.

Enjoyed being able to walk to beach and restaurants. Listing is a bit deceiving…unable to host more family as planned due to limited seating above the six staying in unit. No closets in bedrooms, very little room to unpack. Fun artwork but furniture and furnishings are dated/worn.

Perfect spot for a family vacation

Loved how close this property was to everything - beach, community pool, dining, ice cream shops, etc within walking distance. Lots of excursions close by as well: We went paddleboarding on the intercoastal with dolphins, deep sea fishing, and rented jet skis. Kate reached out immediately on first day of arrival to see how we we doing. She was super communicative as a new appliance was needing attention, and she was on top of it. Plenty of room for an adult couple, grandparents, and four teens to spread out. The only downside was lack of bedroom closets and a pantry. Overall, loved the place and we created a lot of memories here!

Clearwater Beach has always been a family favorite so our choice was easy when we decided to purchase a vacation rental. We absolutely love this location because we are within walking distance to everything with less than a 3 minute walk to the beach.

Unit is freshly painted, new furniture and bedding in 2017. The owner takes great pride in this unit and maintains it very well. Attention to details is obvious and the owner is very responsive and accommodating!
