Why Dan and Stacey Pederson chose Asheville
Dan and Stacey wanted a home that was unique and very private. When they were shown the log cabin they new that this was to be there nature escape. Over the years they have invested a lot of time and energy to make the cabin into what it is today. It is always reassuring when friends and family have such a wonderful feeling when they step onto the property.
What makes this House unique
The cabin has many wonderful features that help a person to escape from the stresses of life. The property itself is over an acre and has plenty of privacy from the neighbors. We love the "country" feel but enjoy the benefits of being so close to the city. The cabin has two very large decks for relaxing. The front deck is very large and is covered to protect you from the elements. The back deck is also very large and has 3 areas to enjoy. One end of the deck has the hot tub, the middle area of the deck has a pergola with a seating area that is covered by a wisteria for shade. The other end of the deck has a patio table with four chairs. The back deck overlooks the water feature with a large waterfall and pond. The pond consists of lily pads, frogs and fish. During the summer nights you can hear the frogs croaking while sitting outside. Near the pond there is a fire pit for nighttime enjoyment. You are welcome to bring your own wood and smores.

Quiet Cabin close to Everything
Stayed 3 nights for a wedding weekend in Asheville. The property was easy to find and semi-secluded (which is what we wanted). Well kept and exactly as listed. Our hosts were very communicative and accessible. If visiting Asheville again, I would definitely consider this property first for our next trip.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. It was rustic and near downtown Asheville while feeling like we were truly in the mountains.
Clean & quiet
Owners easy to communicate with and responsive
We had a wonderful time at this getaway cabin surprisingly close to everything! The accommodations were perfect for 3 couples and the hot tub was a good touch. Uber rides were only about 10 minutes to downtown and West Asheville was fun to explore! Would highly recommend.
great getaway cabin
This is more than a cabin, it is a full-size house on a nice piece of land, and it was a very spacious accommodation for our small group but would fit a much larger group/family. The hosts were great to work with and for those with more free time, left a cool spread of "things to do" pamphlets etc in the kitchen area. We cooked in the kitchen and used the refrigerator and it was well-suited to our needs. Good entertainment system and great, quiet sleeping! What more can you ask for on vacation!? Thanks very much Dan and Stacey!
Wonderful property and wonderful host!!
Our property is about 8 minutes to downtown and minutes to restaurants, hiking, rafting and bars. We are about 10-20 minutes to museums, Biltmore Estate, Grove Park Inn and other area attractions.
