Esta encantadora y soleada cabaña de 2 pisos está ubicada en el centro de Hendersonville, en una propiedad privada de varias cabañas, cerca del centro de la ciudad (a solo 3. 5 millas). Perfectamente situado para explorar las cascadas y senderos de DuPont y Pisgah, Asheville, Brevard y más. El histórico Foxhole Cottage es ideal para parejas, viajeros de negocios o amigos que viajan juntos. No apto para niños pequeños o mascotas.

El Foxhole Cottage tiene una historia célebre. Esta 2 habitaciones / 1. 5 baños, la cabaña de 1940 fue construida originalmente como una casa de transporte detrás de la histórica casa de piedra en la propiedad, que se conocía como Brightwaters Guesthouse, establecida en 1938. Arriba, alojó 3 habitaciones: 2 eran dormitorios para los cocineros que venían de Florida en los veranos para cocinar en el Brightwaters Lodge and Dining Room, que solía estar en el centro de la propiedad. Una tercera sala se utilizó para el almacenamiento de mercancías. Las renovaciones en la década de 1970 cerraron la planta baja (ahora la sala de estar / comedor y la cocina y medio baño) y combinaron 2 habitaciones en 1 dormitorio principal grande arriba. Getting to the house was easy and the parking was perfect. Super cute location and the lights were on. Very easy to use the code to get in. Super impressed with the information the host gave to give you lots of info about hiking and so much more. Really appreciated that! The only thing I did not enjoy was the bed. I know it's a personal choice but the bed is FIRM. The pillows were great though :). I had a question about the heat and the host quickly responded.

Surprise birthday getaway

I surprised my husband with a birthday getaway. I put the address in the GPS and he followed the directions step by step not having any idea where we were going. This place was PERFECT in every way! We loved the history of the property, the architecture, the beauty, the style. It was definitely our favorite stay!

Wonderful!

The Foxhole Cottage was perfect for me and my sister for a long weekend! Very clean and nicely decorated with a kitchen with all the basics! We felt very safe in this cottage which is part of a collection of cottages that surround a lovely little park with walking path. The neighborhood is very quiet, but convenient to the main road. It was very nice to be able to open the screened windows in the bedrooms to feel the cool night breeze!

Our stay was what we were hoping to expect, cozy, quiet, close to everything if we needed it. The owner was very helpful with what we were having difficulty doing. We will definitely keep this serene place on our list to visit again.

Excellent location

The property was close to the waterfalls in the area but also close to the cute town of Hendersonville. The house was very clean and the decor was fabulous.

Fall is in the Air- perfect cottage treasure

This cottage is delightful. Perfect location, size. Beyond clean. This was our first outing since COVID. We felt save. Thank you. I would suggest smaller coffee cups. Your are beautiful but heavy. We can’t wait to come back for a longer stay. This is our 46 season on Hendersonville. Thank you for a grand experience.

WONDERFUL Weekend getaway!

Cute, clean and homey ! We have stayed at several B and B’s and cabins but none trump the condition of this cottage, down to the little details. The management and owners of these properties are top notch in my book. The decor is updated and bright. The Owner Elisabeth was so knowledgeable and helpful. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND!❤️

Wonderful place with a lot of history. Close to everything.

We stayed in the cottage for a month. Elizabeth was wonderful and was always available for questions. The only issue we had is that you only have access to basic cable so very little channels available unless you love to shop. This is an issue for only those staying more than a few days. This cottage is located close to everything. Great place and very private.

Clean and quaint cottage

The cottage was all the owner said it was and more. It was beautiful, clean, and had all the amenities. The owner was very helpful with lots of recommendations about local events and good resturants. This is a gem of a find for a wonderful getaway.

All our needs were met and this adorable house!

We had such a great time so we extended our stay. The house is not only super functional but I love the history behind it. Elizabeth met us with the biggest smile and a homemade treat on the table. She was ready to help us with anything we needed. I highly recommend this adorable house. I love that the kitchen was so well stocked with all the plates and accessories that we needed!

The Foxhole cottage was secluded but near to everything. Beautifully furnished.

Very cozy and convenient

We had a great weekend getaway at Foxhole Cottage. Elisabeth was very helpful with orienting us to the cottage and gave us lots of great info on things to do and see in Hendersonville and Asheville. The cottage was lovely and very comfortable with lots of charm. I highly recommend it!

Cozy cottage, wonderful hostess!

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay at the Foxhole Cottage! Elisabeth welcomed us on our first day and was very gracious to meet us at our requested time. She's very knowledgeable of the area, and gave us excellent recommendations. She was also very accessible through text and email, and answered our messages promptly. The Foxhole Cottage is very charming, well-maintained, clean, and well appointed. It had everything we needed for our 6-night stay. It is conviniently located near grocery stores, restaurants, and hiking trails. It is a great base camp if you would like to go to Blue Ridge Parkway, DuPont State Forest, Asheville, and Chimney Rock. We already recommended Elisabeth and the Foxhole Cottage to our friends who asked about our trip, and we would definitely want to stay there when we go back to WNC.

The cottage is only 3.5 miles from downtown Hendersonville. Minutes to DuPont Forest and Pisgah Forest waterfalls and trails. Within 30 minutes, you can be in Asheville, Brevard, Bent Creek, the Bike Farm in Pisgah Forest, The Gorge, ziplining and white water rafting adventures.

Check out Oskar Blues Brewery, Sierra Nevada Brewery, Bold Rock Cidery, St. Paul Mountain Vineyards, Burntshirt Vineyard and more. Even closer are all of the great restaurants, shops and breweries in downtown Hendersonville. Public golf course only 6 miles away. Kayaking and canoeing with Lazy Otter Outfitters is just 2 miles away. And in season, apple picking orchards are just minutes from the cottage.
